@@jimmykrutakofficial294 same question i asked in my head when i read that lol, probably the hardest part of the whole movement other than the syncopation and modulation in that 5's section
sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the login password. I love any tricks you can give me.
Epic! This video cured my chronic tinnitus and actually brought my kids back from Carol's custody. Additionally, the cleanliness allowed my soul to achieve the fifth and final level of salvation, called "McNuttgets." God I love Bostonians. Extremely loud fart noise pshshshsbhbfflfplfpflpflfplflblflblfblflbl
Boston Crusaders always was one of the best in 1960's. Glad it is able to field a corps after 50+ years. Many, like Blessed Sacrament, Bayonne Bridgemen, Muchachos, etc. are long gone from competition.
1:24 uh oh! from the right second snare in.... missed those 5's!!!! all good, the guys way better than me!! I just can't believe I caught it considering the speed of the arrangement.
Jeff Anderson He moved to BAC a year ago. If you check out last year's Boston Crusaders line, they're basically the Cadets of 2016, lol. And for the reason, I'm not sure. But basically almost the whole staff from Cadets moved to BAC. The percussion head, color guard, and brass.
Havnt watched it yet and I'm expecting to see 1. Fast triplet role 2. 5 let role 3. Hella flams 4. Paradiddles and shit 5. 8th note endings 6. Hella singles
Donald Allen not much of a “million-dollar question.” it’s kinda obvious that DCI is evolving to be more like WGI. Don’t see why anyone would go back to traditional uniforms.
DoingTheMostMalone not sure why that's the case...evolving drum corps is one thing, but evolving drum corps to be more like WGI? Nah. The two are separate for a reason. If what you say is true, then what's the point of even having one and the other?
I mean, cadets looks kind of like a WGI uniform but they still use a shako, so it's really hard to tell. Not really something to be "guilty" of though, bluecoats did it and a huge number of people loved that show so more corps are gravitating toward it, that's just the way things go. It's fine to not agree with it, but you'll have to deal with it I'm afraid if the majority is for it haha
Giustino Paternostro true indeed. When I say "guilty", it's more of a lack of a better term than what I could come up with right then lol. The activity's going its own direction, regardless of what I think - I'm just throwing my two cents out there.
its crazy how much different the writing was from 2018 to 2022
Finally, something playable.
DustyC7 true
You can play 4s at that speed?

You good?
Not even June yet and they’re cleaner then 5 star hotels
But their book at least for this is easy.... Compared to the cadets.... Like omg!!!
chandler moss your right
chandler moss 👌🎆😎😂🥁😂😎🎆👌
I agree 1000%
Trivago
“Don’t pound” is Such a strong testament to the technique used by BAC
This year is gonna be special, and that's for a lot of crops
I'm enjoying the summer corn crop so far.
Better harvest them early!
Bluecoats Agriculture
DCouch- -Drums YES
Saw this in person at the show reveal in Lakewood Ranch. My God, they are goin somewhere this year!
MOIST SHRERK I love watching those sessions at LRHS.
favorite time of the year
I've been waiting over 9 months for this moment.
Still the goat for me 💯
I love how the music flows. The writing is fantastic.
The two eighth note rests at 46
Snare 4 is KILLING IT. He is feeling the rhythm and I can tell.
I didn't know Tony Stark marched for Boston Crusaders. (left of center snare)
what if I told you that IS the center snare! I think he’s been for a few seasons too
LOL I see that too
I remember seeing this in June. And was blown away. They changed night and day between then and when I saw them at finals!
this is so much fun to play
these are so awesome for young players.
Weird seeing Chris Sails go from Boston, to Vanguard, now back to Boston
I think I'm watching all dci videos at 200% speed from now on.
calling it now, BAC’s getting into top five this year
Bianca Law id say they will medal
Wrong
LUL not wrong
*EAT EM UP BOSTON*
this is pure awesomeness
I remember this from Blast! Excellent arrangement 👍🏻
These guys are insane
Cool. Our center snare for MSU marched this corps in the 90s. God...I'm getting old. (NOT Michigan State for those wondering.)
Go Boston
how can something be a little simple, yet sound so complex!!!
As a brass player I never quite understood how drummers learn their music. I mean those notes are just so damn fast I can't keep up with them.
muscle memory, doing the same thing over and over
Same goes with brass. Muscle memory with the valves on each instrument
its just easier to shit out notes playing drums. you can articulate more in a shorten time than a brass player
@@Duzzzzzz It's about memorizing the negative space between the notes. Kind of the opposite of brass.
We pause the video lol, or have the sheet music and play slower tempo till it makes sense in our head and it just flows out faster and faster
Drummed along when they played this a few minuets ago. Was a little surprised that they changed it a little

i'm sweating
Yeah!
LETS FUCKING GO BAC, DO I SMELL A TOP 5? YES I DO.
1:24 uh oh! from the right second snare in.... missed those 5's!!!! all good, the guys way better than me!! I just can't believe I caught it considering the speed of the arrangement.
Lettssss goooo!!!
sick beats!
That snare break into letter G is just crazy awesome
2 guys at the right looks same
its so cadets and i fucking love it
Nice to see Carmen heights stealing corps beats
Did Eric steal something?
He took the vocal idea, but Boston wasn't the first to use Marimba Spiritual either 💀💀💀
@Nick does Quad drumming bruh it's literally called otama spiritual for a reason oml
@Nick does Quad drumming oh lol. I don’t remember the music super wel
I use this as touble tonguing exercise
This is the definition of cute 😻
Dang 204!!
와..
1:24 oof (second to last snare on right)
How long would it take a person to 1-learn that much music and 2-how much longer to memorize it?
Yo how do you get those singles that fast with accents
It's clean! But doesn't it seem a bit too easy? Ah well, as long as they're good at what they do, I'm sure they'll get good scores.
The rhythms are easy. It's just the tempo that makes the music "hard".
this is the easy part of their book dont you worry
Probably some pretty hard drill too during this segment
They're playing more notes than Blue Stars is ever gonna play hahaha...
Oh you just wait
West Coast playing meets East Coast beasting!!!!
2:51
Kinda cadets, kinda not. I’m going to need some time to think about this...
Vinny Powell definitely cadets lol
Vinny Powell Good catch! :-) Colin McNutt used to arrange and work with The Cadets between 2009 and 2016.
Needless to say, this is mighty tastay! 💪😎👍
The Notes:Measure ratio is wayyyyyy to low. Not even a healthy mix of sticking variation on long 16th note passages. Seems....... basic
What sticks are they using?
0:53
Bruh why didn't you do the Cadets first? #depressed
Ethan Boulanger they basically are the cadets now so
Christopher Smith Well you’re not wrong
Whether it’s released first or last, you will know who the real cadets are when their video drops...
Beefy Buns Amen
They played it cleaner at the faster tempo.
Even 65% percent speed was too fast
Noice n toight
"hhheyyy" in slow mo lol
When did Colin McNutt move from Cadets to Boston? Also why did he move?
Jeff Anderson

Small correction...guard staff came from Crown...
George Hopkins is why
Why am I watching this, I’m in front ensemble
But tbh, I was hoping to be in drum line, so I don’t care
What do the arrows mean? Stroke type?
yes
Accents
Yeah if you are talking about the long very black up and down arrows.
Ok
Marimba Spiritual?
DON’T SLEEP ON BOSTON
where can i get the music for this?
The Boston cadeters lmao
Since when they sound like cadets? Jk
Havnt watched it yet and I'm expecting to see
1. Fast triplet role
2. 5 let role
3. Hella flams
4. Paradiddles and shit
5. 8th note endings
6. Hella singles
It's marimba spiritual.... But there is no learn music for the marimbas... Hmmmmm...

This is stupid groovy...
But are we done with WGI uniforms in drum corps, though? THAT'S the million-dollar question.
Not saying BAC's guilty of it, just asking in general.
