Kenmore 80 series, Stop spinning, replacing drive basket and clutch!

Kenmore 80 series super capacity washing machine from 1998
The Dark Blue Spring was the correct replacement for the original red spring.
The signs of this brave basket bushing failing was the excessive vibrating on spin cycles.
I already replaced the 4 springs and other cushion and nylon pads and it only got a little better.
To properly seat the brakes and clutch with this particular washing machine was to run a full load of laundry
I started with a small load setting with only water and it took free spinned a little.
Be careful , lots of sharp steel. protect yourself.

I could probably replace the clutch but taking out the transmission might be a bit advanced for me. Thankfully the tranny still works! So far I did the water inlet valve and today I finished the drain pump. Two laundry loads & one with AFFRESH. I'd call that a success!! No more appliance videos for awhile, I gotta decompose!💀🤕💀 THIS one, however, I'm just watching for the "BOB ROSS EFFECT"!😂 Thanks for everything!!

Good work!!! Nothing is too complicated with these particular washing machines.
Just the weight of it.
If you ever run across a free washing machine or Dryer, experience taking it completely apart. You'll gain more knowledge.
