Are fiberglass shower pans more susceptible to cracking in pier and beam houses that inevitebly move a bit here and there? My shower pan just cracked and I heard a contractor say fiberglass pans sometimes will crack on pier and beam houses that move a bit.
Mike, with the new pool have you thought about making one of the solar water heaters? I have been thinking about it because we get such a short time to use our pool and would like to extend it a bit. Thoughts?

What if the shower pan is made of a harder material like some kind of ceramic?

depends how it was installed, mine was reused for maybe an outside shower, but i wouldn't have reused indoors.
This was brilliant. I cut out an acrylic shower base around the drain to make it easier, but couldn't figure out the drain part. Thanks!
