CHCB-0T Hotend Assembly Tutorial

1.Prepare thermal grease and all accessories in the package of the CHCB-OT hotend.
2.Put the flange piece on according to the direction shown in the video.
3.Apply some thermal grease to the surface of the groove where the heater is installed and the hole of the thermistor.
4.Temporarily fix the heating plate and the thermistor with your hands, and gently put on the clip, pay attention to the direction shown in the video, there will be a bulge where the thermistor is fixed.
5.Wipe off excess thermal grease.
6.Now the CHCB-OT hotend is assembled.Next we are going to install it on the K1 printer.
7.Plug in the heating element and the thermosensitive plug.
8.Carefully insert the cold side of the hotend into the heat sink.
9.Use M2*20 screws to fix the flange piece on one side, be careful not to tighten it yet.
10.Screw on the M2*20 screws on the other side in the same way. Carefully adjust the tension of the screws on both sides so that the tightness on both sides is similar, and then check whether the hotend will loosen.
11.Gently screw in the new nozzle and set the hotend temperature to 250°C.
12.After reaching the set temperature, tighten the nozzle with a torque of about 1.5-2 Nm.
13.Use an auxiliary fan to cool the hotend, and when it reaches a safe temperature, put on silicone insulation socks.
14.Please don't forget to tighten the set screw at the end.

For those that do wonder if this works in the Ender 3 V2 with Sprite Extruder, it works wonders. Just add a spacer of 10mm on the CR Touch. Can guarantee it works perfectly fine almost out of the box.....thanks triangle labs for such an amazing piece of work.

Please help! Which one is the thermistor? Is it the flat one that heats up or the small one? I just bought one like this its not the same but has those same pieces and I think i was sent a faulty one because my ender 3 isn't working now and I tried it both ways.

Can this be adapted to the Ender 3 v2 with a sprite extruder? If I somehow make a modification to the CR touch and put a mod in the hot end fan would it work?

This hotend can be installed on the sprite extruder-hotend, but everything else you need to try yourself.

Dissapointed, no instrucctions, the thermistor conector is very weak, I had problemas the next day, the hotend just doesnt reach the proper temperature, when I tried to see whats going on, the thermistor cable just came off, too weak. The worst thing, lack of support.
