My bed is currently covered with 3 cats, 2 dogs and another dog on the floor by my bed. My room usually has squeaks and chomping noises all the time! We love our furr babies!
What a bizarre mistake. Seriously there’s a level of psychological pathology going on here- a woman who believes that she would remedy all of the wrongs in her relationships with the rest of her family is beyond comprehension. , Robyn, was a colossal, Ghislaine Maxwell sized f/up. Meri tried to puppet master the whole situation and was outsmarted by everyone else. Especially, her “sister “ wives.
Wow..... well this avenue would explain why she always cries that she wanted to " sit on a porch with her sister wives and watch the children and grandchildren "...... without the sister wives ...... the "family" money goes away. It's the multiple income of the wives....not kody. I just always thought she was full of cr@p.
Part of Robyn's downfall was the fact that Janelle kept records of the family finances and figured out where all their money was going, then decided she'd had enough of paying for Robyn's lifestyle. Now that Robyn and Kody don't have three other wives footing the bill, I am sure things are going to get very interesting. I am sure now that Janelle, Christine, and even Meri only have their own finances to concern themselves with, they've found they have a lot more money than they realized and will be more than OK on their own.
100%! I went to school with Preston, and he was always a standup guy. When you go to school with a graduating class of about 100 students you get to know your classmates and the things that have been said about him actually caused me to stop watching the show. He has always loved his kids. He also never wanted multiple wives, but she did. I think this was also the reason why she started looking for Kody. I am so happy that he was able to move past this horrible chapter in his life and find a good woman. I hope his kids and him will be able to repair things.
Preston sounds like a really good guy. His kids will hopefully realize what they have in him as they grow up and break the umbilical cord that holds them hostage currently. Stay strong, Preston. Your kids are worth it.

The biggest argument they had is he wanted to protect the kids from being on the show and having such a public view into their lives. Fighting it pretty much broke him both financially and emotionally. She has had a very public platform to tear him down as a husband and a father backed by public option and TLCs money. He fought for years and years and only kept losing more and more. He literally was in a no-win situation. Did he finally give up? yes. Was it the right thing to do? I'm not sure but I also can't blame him after seeing what he was going through. As a mom I would hope I would have kept fighting but I also don't know how much a parent can take before taking a pause till the kids are old enough to make up their own minds at 18.
It would be an explosive divorce though. Kody Brown is many things. quite is not one of them. You just know he would air all her dirty laundry to media in their divorce
If I’m remembering correctly, on the show when Robin talked about her divorce settlement, she claimed she took on Preston’s debt and brought all of that debt into the Brown Family. She loves to be seen as a martyr, doesn’t she? This is so enlightening.
Remember when Robyn’s psychologist said the kids had anxiety about seeing their dad? That anxiety could have been placed on them by Robyn. She is such an anxious mother-who knows what she put in their heads to scare them about him. Their faces and words in this clip-these kids want to see their dad. Which reminds me of the creepy picture Robyn made superimposing Kody on a picture of the kids when they were little. Remember that?! THEY HAVE A REAL DAD. What Robyn did was wrong.

Christine said she was in a great deal of pain / jealousy when Robyn came in. I can't say that I blame her one bit! With Kody courting Robyn just as Christine was very pregnant, how awful :( Robyn has aged poorly. There is a saying, that, at age 50, how you have lived shows up on your face. Makes sense!

Being the product of my parents divorcing when I was 5 , I can assure you that happiness you saw was genuine. You can take some things but not at that age and level of gladness

We may not like kody, but his kids loved him. It hurt some more than others when their dad wasn't therefor the very important things like surgery. Kody made a bad decision moving to flagstaff. The family was happy, together, close living in the cul-de-sac. It couldn't have been better. Robin was a mistake. Everything was about her. She manipulated kody. The family started falling apart. I'm not surprised, im one who doesn't believe in man having mul wives. I for one will not share my man with another woman. Kody just has to much ego and really not a good leader for a family.
I recall Jenelle saying near the end of this last season that money from the family fund had been spent on needless things by other members of the family , and if not for that needless spending there would have been the money needed for her house to be built on Coyote Pass , and Jenelle was quite upset over this happening ! I feel that Robyn and Kody are basically stealing from the family fund account ! I don’t see how Robyn could be hiding all her shopping merchandise from Kody because he lives there full time and so therefore he is part of it, they are both crooks and liars !! Just my feeling anyway!!
Oh and Janelle also said at some point that Sobyn buys a lot of Knick knacks and if you look in one of the scenes where Kody and her are sitting at the table behind him is a curio cabinet with all that in there. Sobyn is a compulsive spender and that’s where most of the family funds have gone, Sobyn was against Kody buying that truck to move the RV Sobyn said in a scene oh no we can’t buy that, just like the B&B or the RV.

I felt so bad for her 3 oldest during episode where she was talking about her chastity being stolen and how much of a mistake it was. Sooo beyond cringe. She not even realize that she didn't mention oh by the way I love my kids. She just kept going on and on about how badly their dad wanted to get his pencil wet and she gave in.

So true.. when my dad passed away. We found so many things that he kept from us kids growing up, cards and gifts that made me resent my mother for keeping me away from him and bad mouthing him to me.. she made me believe my father did not care about me and I thought that until I was 18
Once the kids are all over 18 (I think the 2 oldest are) they are free to seek out their dad and find out for themselves, hopefully that hasn’t been totally taken away from them.

I almost feel sorry for him because I think he really loves her, but I don't think she loves him. Yes, Janelle made a statement that she does the taxes and how the community funds were being misspent and she wanted an explanation. The money is from a LLC , that may be the only legal way she can go after Kody for payback of what she is owed.
Paul Sullivan was married to David Preston’s sister and these two are first cousin to Christine. Probably the reason Christine dislike her because she knew the truth. This Paul Sullivan was Mindy Jessop the niece dad so the nanny in Vegas was first Robyn’s stepsister and later both stepsister and niece

I’m an avid watcher of the show and if you watch from the beginning Robyn has always had someone taking care of her kids. First it was Kody’s older girls like Maddie, Mykelti, and Aspyn. Then she had her younger sister and then she had her niece, Mindy, as the nanny. It’s clear Robyn has a spending problem as does Kody and it’s going to be interesting to see what they’re going to do now that the women have left Kody and who also brought in a large portion of the family’s income.
It’s sad they spend that kind of money and yet Kody still has Ramen noodle hair and Robyn has no eyebrows. You’d think they’d fix that. 😂😂😂 But seriously, it’s probably more than a spending problem at this point.
Just watched an episode the other day where kody was worrying about the rentals in flagstaff being smaller than the large vegas houses, christine said to him that he should be glad since they would have to downsize and simplify their lives, and kody said that “a couple of his wives REALLY liked their “things” and would not be willing to downsize”…boy did robyn live up to that, she “downsized” to a 7 bedroom rental at first, and then to her current million dollar mansion…lol…what a grifter

Not surprised at all…when Robyn said she treated Kody as her “Best customer”, I knew this is a woman who has an agenda. I’ve always wanted to hear from Preston. Watching the kids be adopted was heartbreaking as a parent. It really felt to me that Dayton wasn’t that keen, being the oldest he would have had more memory of living with his father.

I don't know if any of y'all watched the HBO series Big Love but sometimes I feel that the tactics used by Robyn mimicked the ones used by the character Nikki (brilliantly played by Chloe Savigne). In the last season, second wife Nikki's daughter from her first marriage to an abuser, comes to live with her. In order to financially provide for her, the husband, Bill and Nikki decide to ask first wife Barbara for a divorce in order for Bill and Nikki to legally marry. They do this and, of course, there are problems. Sometimes I think Robyn watched the show which aired from 2006-2011. ALSO, the character Nikki goes on spending binges and accrues huge debts. Sound familiar.

Yes, they had trouble to track her bc of that she used 3 different lastnames; Marck, Sullivan and Jessop. Read that Preston family helped them pay off all the credits when their were married, bc they was going to buy a house. Something happened and Preston filed for divorce so the debt she took with her in to the Brown family - was debt she got after the divorce that was 2007. She married Kody 2010...3 years to get $32K in debt - well done Robyn!
Everything said here and in the previous videos about Robyn and Preston (including Robyn being a narcissist) fits 100% with the data on parental alienation. I know because I was a targeted parent myself. Even the stuff about Robyn taking the kids to a therapist because of anxiety around their dad (Preston) is a classic tactic.

The best predictor of your future is studying the past of the person . Experience is the strongest teacher. They seemed to be able to navigate with strong boundaries with Meri. Meri cried as she signed the divorce papers. She was heartbroken. But Robyn manipulated Meri into divorcing Kody. I read somewhere that Kody could have adopted the kids without being married to Robyn. Not sure if that’s true but she made Meri believe it, true or not. That was the beginning of the end of Kody and Meri’s relationship.
I think the catfishing came later. Meri was left alone and vulnerable after the divorce and Mariah moving out for college. But I agree that Sobbin' arranged the catfisher!

Something I noticed that nobody brings up on the show is that they bought the land and they are supposed to pay it off to be able to build, but Meri gets a huge house, when is just her... and Robin buys a million dollar home... shouldn't they have gotten cheap homes to save and be able to pay that off faster? One wife has a million dollar home and the other one lives on a camper... makes sense... NOT
I can, unfortunately, see Robin being the abuser. I wonder how Kody handles it, or if they take turns. Kody is going to get the same treatment soon, he has no one making money for them.
I'm not a bit surprised to hear this, and believe it is all true. My daughter is a paralegal working in family law. She sees this every single day. Fathers are still marginalized every day in the court system.
It's true. My brother had to jump through crazy hoops to get custody of his kids. His ex was in a gang, leaving the children home alone, being neglectful and yet it was my brother who was fighting for his kids that had to prove he was the better fit for them. He eventually won but it took almost 2 years before he got custody of both. It was sad seeing how biased the courts were even when proof was shown.
This- parental alienation- happened to my brother. It’s like he lost his son. After years of living for him- the pandemic happened and the mother used that to cut ties and alienate my brother from his son. It’s been like a death in my family we all mourn. It’s also abusive to these poor kids.

Not really! I sat in court 3 days a week for work I’ve heard every excuse in the book why these men don’t pay even the smallest amount of child support or don’t show up to get their kids for visitation. It’s always the same excuse well your honor I had to have that camero car to get to work and when ask so how much did you pay over the last year since you had to have a car nothing! Zero this is a real case when the judge said sell the car and pay your back support he said well I won’t be able to work the judge said your children have not benefited one but from you working. He never showed up for his visitation either claiming it was interfering with his work schedule she ask him did you ask for a new court date to revise it nope. These men are full of excuses I mean full of them. Ask your daughter she will tell you it’s comical always the same ole excuses. We use to laugh as we sat their listening to the same thing come out of all of their mouths. My favorite one was the man who came in and said well your honor my new girlfriend just had a baby and I had to take 6 weeks off to help her meanwhile the child he was in court over was a toddler he had never paid support on yet that 6 weeks of missed work was the reason he hadn’t paid any support! No men are not marginalized their just not willing to put in any effort at all for the most part they have no shame at all when they come to court and always blame the parent who is actually working and supporting the child. Honestly if the Sherriff himself delivered the child to them they would have some excuse why they just can’t see their kids or pay child support. Your daughter likely works with family law and represents some of these men who will pay $7000 to an attorney to keep from paying $200 a month to their kids. They rarely win in court if that is what you mean by marginalized face it when you can’t pay even $100 a month and you show up for maybe 1 or 2 visits a month then come to court and blame the person supporting and caring for the child it never works out well. Not all men I’ve seen a few who had major accidents etc but they still see their kids and just fell behind do to illness but it is rare let me tell you. If your daughter sat in court as I did I’m sure she would tell you how comical it is to here their measly excuses. Robins ex husband is definitely one of those men. He thought it was Christmas to be able to hand off financial responsibility of his kids. He already has 4 more with some poor girl dumb enough to lay down with him knowing he had 3 kids he made little to no effort to see and wasn’t even paying $150 bucks a month for. He is not a victim for sure and he must work part time at minimum wage to only be ordered to pay that amount for 3 kids. And has 4 more! He is a first class loser with a family who makes all kinds of excuses for him allowing him to be a loser even encouraging it. Katie, we saw it on her wedding day when the kids locked her out of the car. The tone when she yelled at them gave me goose bumps. I knew rewatching that she had an issue with anger. She also looks like she drinks!
I remember the wedding day thing and how frazzled she was by her kids before moving to Utah. She couldn’t handle 3 kids. But she didn’t she didn’t want Christine, who raised 4 times that number, to help in Vegas.
As soon as I saw that she had a huge credit card debt with Victoria's Secret, I knew what her game was. It was confirmed when Janelle said that there was enough money in the family account to pay off the lots at Coyote Pass, but the money was used for other things. I think it's terrible that she used her children to get him to divorce Meri, but that was her goal all along. 😥

It probably was Robyn putting thoughts in Kody’s mind to adopt them. And he went to Meri. When Meri told Robyn, fake tears appeared. #2. And the move to Arizona, same story. And to cover, Kidy wanted one house? Sound familiar? Just pointing out these two incidents, not to mention the enormous house in Flagstaff, I can imagine that what you heard is true. Part of Robyn's downfall was the fact that Janelle kept records of the family finances and figured out where all their money was going, then decided she'd had enough of paying for Robyn's lifestyle. Now that Robyn and Kody don't have three other wives footing the bill, I am sure things are going to get very interesting. I am sure now that Janelle, Christine, and even Meri only have their own finances to concern themselves with, they've found they have a lot more money than they realized and will be more than OK on their own.

100%! I went to school with Preston, and he was always a standup guy. When you go to school with a graduating class of about 100 students you get to know your classmates and the things that have been said about him actually caused me to stop watching the show. He has always loved his kids. He also never wanted multiple wives, but she did. I think this was also the reason why she started looking for Kody. I am so happy that he was able to move past this horrible chapter in his life and find a good woman. I hope his kids and him will be able to repair things.

The biggest argument they had is he wanted to protect the kids from being on the show and having such a public view into their lives. Fighting it pretty much broke him both financially and emotionally. She has had a very public platform to tear him down as a husband and a father backed by public option and TLCs money. He fought for years and years and only kept losing more and more. He literally was in a no-win situation. Did he finally give up? yes. Was it the right thing to do? I'm not sure but I also can't blame him after seeing what he was going through. As a mom I would hope I would have kept fighting but I also don't know how much a parent can take before taking a pause till the kids are old enough to make up their own minds at 18.

I’m an avid watcher of the show and if you watch from the beginning Robyn has always had someone taking care of her kids. First it was Kody’s older girls like Maddie, Mykelti, and Aspyn. Then she had her younger sister and then she had her niece, Mindy, as the nanny. It’s clear Robyn has a spending problem as does Kody and it’s going to be interesting to see what they’re going to do now that the women have left Kody and who also brought in a large portion of the family’s income.

I don't know if any of y'all watched the HBO series Big Love but sometimes I feel that the tactics used by Robyn mimicked the ones used by the character Nikki (brilliantly played by Chloe Savigne). In the last season, second wife Nikki's daughter from her first marriage to an abuser, comes to live with her. In order to financially provide for her, the husband, Bill and Nikki decide to ask first wife Barbara for a divorce in order for Bill and Nikki to legally marry. They do this and, of course, there are problems. Sometimes I think Robyn watched the show which aired from 2006-2011. ALSO, the character Nikki goes on spending binges and accrues huge debts. Sound familiar.

Read that Preston family helped them pay off all the credits when their were married, bc they was going to buy a house. Something happened and Preston filed for divorce so the debt she took with her in to the Brown family - was debt she got after the divorce that was 2007. She married Kody 2010...3 years to get $32K in debt - well done Robyn!
Everything said here and in the previous videos about Robyn and Preston (including Robyn being a narcissist) fits 100% with the data on parental alienation. I know because I was a targeted parent myself. Even the stuff about Robyn taking the kids to a therapist because of anxiety around their dad (Preston) is a classic tactic.

I read somewhere that Kody could have adopted the kids without being married to Robyn. Not sure if that’s true but she made Meri believe it, true or not. That was the beginning of the end of Kody and Meri’s relationship.
I think the catfishing came later. Meri was left alone and vulnerable after the divorce and Mariah moving out for college. But I agree that Sobbin' arranged the catfisher!

Something I noticed that nobody brings up on the show is that they bought the land and they are supposed to pay it off to be able to build, but Meri gets a huge house, when is just her... and Robin buys a million dollar home... shouldn't they have gotten cheap homes to save and be able to pay that off faster? I'm not a bit surprised to hear this, and believe it is all true. My daughter is a paralegal working in family law. She sees this every single day. Fathers are still marginalized every day in the court system.
It's true. My brother had to jump through crazy hoops to get custody of his kids. His ex was in a gang, leaving the children home alone, being neglectful and yet it was my brother who was fighting for his kids that had to prove he was the better fit for them. He eventually won but it took almost 2 years before he got custody of both. It was sad seeing how biased the courts were even when proof was shown.
It is SO true! My grandfather was totally pushed out of my dad's life when he was only a preschooler.
This- parental alienation- happened to my brother. It’s like he lost his son. After years of living for him- the pandemic happened and the mother used that to cut ties and alienate my brother from his son. It’s been like a death in my family we all mourn. It’s also abusive to these poor kids.

Not really! I sat in court 3 days a week for work I’ve heard every excuse in the book why these men don’t pay even the smallest amount of child support or don’t show up to get their kids for visitation. It’s always the same excuse well your honor I had to have that camero car to get to work and when ask so how much did you pay over the last year since you had to have a car nothing! Zero this is a real case when the judge said sell the car and pay your back support he said well I won’t be able to work the judge said your children have not benefited one but from you working. He never showed up for his visitation either claiming it was interfering with his work schedule she ask him did you ask for a new court date to revise it nope. These men are full of excuses I mean full of them. Ask your daughter she will tell you it’s comical always the same ole excuses. We use to laugh as we sat their listening to the same thing come out of all of their mouths. My favorite one was the man who came in and said well your honor my new girlfriend just had a baby and I had to take 6 weeks off to help her meanwhile the child he was in court over was a toddler he had never paid support on yet that 6 weeks of missed work was the reason he hadn’t paid any support! No men are not marginalized their just not willing to put in any effort at all for the most part they have no shame at all when they come to court and always blame the parent who is actually working and supporting the child. Honestly if the Sherriff himself delivered the child to them they would have some excuse why they just can’t see their kids or pay child support. Your daughter likely works with family law and represents some of these men who will pay $7000 to an attorney to keep from paying $200 a month to their kids. They rarely win in court if that is what you mean by marginalized face it when you can’t pay even $100 a month and you show up for maybe 1 or 2 visits a month then come to court and blame the person supporting and caring for the child it never works out well. Not all men I’ve seen a few who had major accidents etc but they still see their kids and just fell behind do to illness but it is rare let me tell you. If your daughter sat in court as I did I’m sure she would tell you how comical it is to here their measly excuses. Robins ex husband is definitely one of those men. He thought it was Christmas to be able to hand off financial responsibility of his kids. He already has 4 more with some poor girl dumb enough to lay down with him knowing he had 3 kids he made little to no effort to see and wasn’t even paying $150 bucks a month for. He is not a victim for sure and he must work part time at minimum wage to only be ordered to pay that amount for 3 kids. And has 4 more! He is a first class loser with a family who makes all kinds of excuses for him allowing him to be a loser even encouraging it. I feel sorry for the poor women he has now she must work her fingers to the bone to support her kids or they would live in extreme poverty. If she decides to leave I’m sure his family would say she tricked him into getting her pregnant 4 times to trap him after all he is such a catch.

Katie, we saw it on her wedding day when the kids locked her out of the car. The tone when she yelled at them gave me goose bumps. I knew rewatching that she had an issue with anger. She also looks like she drinks!

It was confirmed when Janelle said that there was enough money in the family account to pay off the lots at Coyote Pass, but the money was used for other things. I think it's terrible that she used her children to get him to divorce Meri, but that was her goal all along. 😥

Maybe digging into Robyn’s past would be quite interesting. I hope the kids figure this out. May be a while, but the truth always comes out.
