Sometimes I get really lonely when I see or hear my dear brothers and sisters in Christ practicing speaking in tongues, practicing yoga, and consuming fermented alcoholic beverages, my church also uses drums in the contemporary worship service. I don't want to come across as legalistic but I also strongly feel that small doors likes these can give foothold to the devil. I need more wisdom and boldness. I love them dearly and would be so broken if I caused dissension between my brothers and sisters in Christ. I just keep praying for peace and if I should remain in this church. God can do His work through anyone and His ways are far beyond what I would ever imagine. I just want to please Him in everything and I want to search for His heart in all things. I used to speak in tongues and was using drugs very heavily and drinking heavily. I no longer drink, use drugs, or speak in tongues. I have a daily contact with God n walk in his principles. Thanks for your honesty. '

I live in the bible belt and get acosted in stores by charismatics witnessing to me and I certainly appreciate that but once we start talking ..I let it be known that #1 osas..#2 I can't speak in tongues but that the Holy Spirit witnesses to my heart that I'm saved....and they are convinced these two things are the truth, that you can lose your salvation and u have to speak in tongues to be saved. What bothers me is, these people are witnessing false doctrine to those that may not be saved and don't know any better. Years ago we were invited to a charismatic church. Not long into the service, people began babbling in tongues. This progressed to all out mayhem. A couple of men began racing up and down the aisles repeatedly--while almost all the people were screaming incoherently, swooning, swaying, shaking all over....etc. I have NEVER seen a performance like that in my life! (or since then) My 2 very young daughters were wringing their hands, and looking very anxious and afraid. Needless to say, we never returned. The feeling in me was VERY strong--that this was not of God. It sounds very much like what people involved in the new age movement describe as a "kundalini awakening", when the coiled serpent awakens--and activates all of the person's "chakras". They get the same shaking, swooning, euphoria, loss of control...and they claim it feels like electrical currents coursing their their bodies, when the coiled serpent awakens. It sounds demonic to me, both experiences...with their similarities.

When the Holy Spirit came to the Disciples in the upper room, He was teaching them all the languages in the world at that time so when the Disciples went to a foreign country, they were able to teach the word of God to every kindred, tongue and nation. I grew up I guess u call it "charismatic" in the Pentecosral specifically Assembly of God church my grandfather was a Assembly of God preacher and I grew up believing in this stuff and but this message has really spoke to me among other messages I have listened to pastor Kim give, thank you for your messages and be praying for me as I deal with this.
My stepsons wife's parents had invited us to an Assembly of God church and they were charismatic. As soon as I saw them flopping on the floor and talking in gibberish I had a pit in my stomach. The Holy Spirit was definitely telling me to get out of there. I never went to one of them again and never went to one before that I have always belonged to a non denominational Bible preaching church. I told my husband never again will I go there. It definitely was demonic. We eventually told them we were not returning and we do not believe in speaking in tongues. They seemed okay with it and never asked us again. I also got the sense that they thought they were better than other Christians at that church. Go figure
I was born and raised in catholic church doctrine and attended many activities, fellowship, etc including the speaking of tongues..i remembered when during my first time, it felt so weird and creepy. Our eyes were closed and were speaking in tongues so loud that i dont even understand. I tried to open my eyes slowly and saw other members acting like they’re possessed of something, their body and hands are shaking, their lips are twisted. Many years ago I was brought up in a charismatic church. After actually reading my KJV Bible a few years ago, especially Acts... I figured out that the babel I was spewing out was not understandable by any man and that it should have been as we see in Acts. Charismatics are wrong, and they don't even follow the rules on speaking tongues in the church. I don't attend those churches anymore.

Yes Pastor you have said it right.. But this is not complete I think you need to expound even more and cover things like speaking in heavenly languages., praying in spirit.. And many such things
I no longer believe in speaking in tongues and I ask God to deliver me from whatever spirit that is. Also in finding out this hard truth, I must also be very careful in how I teach against because some(not this guy) speak disrespectfully meaning they wouldn't believe in tongues even if it were really true.

I was actually doing this for a while in bible college and I really believed in speaking in tongues and healing and one night I had a dream and I saw these letters plain as day say speaking in tongues is demonic and soon after I found this channel.. thank you for your insight and wisdom I no longer believe in that.

In the 70’s when I became a believer I was informed that I was going straight to Hell if I did not speak in tongues and therefore was not a saved believer. I tried with much prayer at these meetings, nothing happened. I have been told that I have no Faith therefore I am un Christlike even though my whole life is encouraging people to consider turning their lives over to Jesus including a 1 month tour into the jungles of South America. I pray God would give me a known language to speak of His Love. I once spoke a language of the native tribes I lived amongst but haven’t used it in 39 years.
You will not loose followers..even if so you are blessed. but you are preaching,. I been in pentacost for years, but do believe in the bible strictly. But I have also spoke like that...never could totally figure it out, and see others say what things mean, but I never could. NOW , this is confusing. SO will pray...I do believe you...makes me glad but sad at same time.

When a person with understanding is heard by those that hear the words but without understanding, the ignorant hear an unknown tongue and the person with understanding is unfruitful. Required is for the person with understanding to rightly divide the word of truth and speak a mate line in the book of the Lord to bring forth the Lord's interpretation.

Pastor let me tell you my testimony short , i was a Budda than i am get saved in pentecostal movement and you know those peoples believe like charismatic than I become a big time charismatic! I were speaking in tongues but I only do that in my home when i am praying, but some how I always read my Bible everyday but I always doubt about what cor 14 ! But I always trust those pastor because I think they are going to college they are known the Bible and for long time I thought maybe the Bible are not accurate! So I always doubt the word of God ! And one day i was so confused and I beginning really sincere wonder am I really saved or not so I stopped going church charismatic and trying to go the Baptist Church but the couple I went I don’t think I learned anything but I never given up my prayers with God i was Cried with God a lot because I wanna know the truth! And you were a 100% right i were one them walked by feeling and emotional a lot but thanks for the grace of God I found you and Robert breaker on TH-cam! And I began watching you more than Robert breaker and that how i am become a Bible believe Dispensationalist pastor! And i have been watching you almost a year now I don’t walk by my feelings or emotions anymore now I understand i walk by faith not by sight! And you were right it a Demonic powerful! And the day i becomes a bible believe Dispensation pastor I repent and I pray to God i pronounced no more speaking in tongues! And since than my life are totally change Pastor I understand bible more now peaceful and growing a lot and I understand what you say and i am not offended anymore ! And for those of charismatic! Anyway pastor I went to see my friend last week my friend are super charismatic speaking tongues we used to went church together I haven’t see her for years so we talk and i try to tell her about your ministry so I told her to watch you on TH-cam and we both watched together and i told she needs to subscribe also I know if she watched this video she will getting upset but that okkk I will continue to pray for her that God will bring her out of Darkness I hope because her pastor are super charismatic! And one time i told her your pastor are teaching wrong Doctrines and she got very angry with me but I forgive her but I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ because God knows i care for her and now we talk again and hopefully God will open her eyes and now the whole my family i get saved first and i am the one lead them to Christ and i am the one bring them to charismatic church and now I have to pray for them and waiting for God time to tell them pastor what a mess ! Satan are come and destroy and kill and deceived! I am so glad for this teaching today pastor. I am growing in the Lord and now no more confused about bible now i look back God is good and mercy and patience with me because in my life I am not afraid no one the only person i am fear is The Lord Jesus Christ! Because i see the power of God transform me even i was in the wrong church thanks God i am not a charismatic anymore what a demonic power deceived people! Make me hate the devil! Now I have to be patience with my friend and my family and prayers for them! Just like God Be patience with me 😀in Dallas majority are charismatic ! Every one speaking tongues so loud and sometimes can not pray at all because every one bla a bla ! Tell you the truth pastor! They been deceived they don’t know because I know my friend told me she saw Jesus Christ she almost touched him Red Flag 🚩! Every time i try to tell her she argues with me because she doesn’t agree! Yes I have been going through some very dark sad emotions. It's made me cry and I'm a grown man! I thought the speaking in tounges was just a one time thing as a sign to the Jews?
I was actually doing this for a while in bible college and I really believed in speaking in tongues and healing and one night I had a dream and I saw these letters plain as day say speaking in tongues is demonic and soon after I found this channel.. thank you for your insight and wisdom I no longer believe in that.

I tried to tell a man this a while back. He did not want to hear a word I had to say. He said his church speaks in tongues,. I truly am glad I do not know were that church is at. But he is a Pentecostal though that tells me a lot. That would be very odd to walk in on for sure. WOW

In the 70’s when I became a believer I was informed that I was going straight to Hell if I did not speak in tongues and therefore was not a saved believer.
I tried with much prayer at these meetings, nothing happened. I have been told that I have no Faith therefore I am un Christlike even though my whole life is encouraging people to consider turning their lives over to Jesus including a 1 month tour into the jungles of South America. I pray God would give me a known language to speak of His Love. I once spoke a language of the native tribes I lived amongst but haven’t used it in 39 years.
You will not loose followers..even if so you are blessed. but you are preaching,. I been in pentacost for years, but do believe in the bible strictly. But I have also spoke like that...never could totally figure it out, and see others say what things mean, but I never could. NOW , this is confusing. SO will pray...I do believe you...makes me glad but sad at same time.
