We always need to go an look at what the bible says about any given topic. We are all subject to the authority of scripture and that includes the church. Even what I say on all my videos should always be tested with the bible. We are all human and we can make mistakes, even those who have studied the bible for decades. What is speaking in tongues exactly? How should speaking in tongues be used in the church? Should every Christian speak in tongues? In this video, I answer these questions and more. I also go into other things that are not from the Holy Spirit, like being slain in the spirit or being drunk in the spirit. Watch the full video to find out more.

thank you Daniel. you have cleared my doubts about speaking in tongues because the church I attended said I must speak in tongues or else I'm not a true believer. and the Holy Spirit is not in me .that broke my heart and I felt unworthy. after 20 years today I heard your message and I have been set free .I'm so blessed from the day I came across your video .now I'm 60 years old and learning the truth of Gods word from a young man .truly you are God sent to teach the word.

Chapter 19
Verse 1 - 6
Apostle Paul in Ephesus.
Found some believers.
"Have you received the Holy Spirit when you believed?". He asked.
"No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit'.
"Then what water baptism did you experience?" He asked.
"The water baptism of John the baptizer".
"John's baptism called for repentance from sin...but told them to believe in Jesus".
Verse 5
As soon as they heard this, they were water baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Verse 6
Then Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they SPOKE IN OTHER LANGUAGES (TONGUES) and prophesied.

My dad started speaking in tongue at a funeral, I practice Buddhism and he keeps trying to shove christianity down my throat. I was baptized Catholic and received my communion, but stopped believing later in life. I just want the same mutual respect on religious belief or philosophical practice.

No one comes to the Father except through me.” Your dad knows that you are destined for Hell if you try to choose any other way. Only belief in Jesus Christ and His gospel can save you from sin. Your dad TRULY loves you. If he DIDN’T love you, he’d pat you on the back and say he’s glad you’ve found something that makes you feel happy…

Hope Life: is your comment really from two weeks ago as TH-cam says? If so, I've taught for 36 years using the original languages. NO ONE has spoken in tongues for 2133 years to be exact. You considered yourself as unworthy because you were LIED to by false teachers. THEY told you lies like you had to show evidence of receiving the holy spirit by speaking . Then why did PAUL say, and I quote the Greek, "Not all speak in tongues, do they"? There is no such thing as a heavenly language and again Paul tells you why. 2corinth 12:4 IT IS UNLAWFUL to speak anything of that which Paul heard in heaven. Paul says tongues are for a sign TO the unbeliever. ARE THERE ANY UNBELIEVERS IN HEAVEN? This guy is a fraud and lies against scripture. If you really want to know the truth, get back to me and stop being taken in by these frauds. Learn what God was really doing in the new testament and the fact that tongues came from the OLD testament as again Paul tells you WHO tongues were for, and WHAT they were, and WHY. this video is completely false and not what the bible says. How do you presume to speak for God when you have everything WRONG? Obviously you are not a teacher from God's standpoint. There are NOT two types of tongues. There WAS only one and you have not only missed the connection, but the fact that Tongues CEASED 2000 years ago proves that you are NOT studying the bible, nor the specific subject. Paul tells you they would CEASE and they DID. That means you have no understanding of Jewish history according to the bible. You have rejected Paul's explanation and made it a joke. The true tongues were only done when the proper situation called for it. You are also in great error about all the gifts being available. Mark 16:20 tells you That the SIGN gifts were for CONFIRMING THE WORD WITH SIGNS. That, "WORD" has been confirmed. IT'S THE BIBLE. THEREFORE THE APOSTLES ARE DEAD, AND THE SIGN GIFTS ARE GONE BECAUSE THE BIBLE IS FINISHED. PERIOD. SO IF YOU THINK THE BIBLE IS NOT FINISHED AND YOU THINK GOD IS STILL DELIVERING NEW SCRIPTURE, THAT MAKES YOU A HERETIC. So do you really want to be known for that? The spirit gives the gifts as he wills and NOT as you ask for one. Paul clearly says, in the Greek, "NOT ALL SPEAK IN TONGUES, DO THEY?" The clear answer is NO. Tongues were for a sign. WHAT SIGN? A sign in and of itself, is NOTHING. The important thing is, WHAT DOES THE SIGN POINT TO? You are in violation of many scriptures. Your "experiences" do not teach you anything. God tells you NOT to use them as validation of scripture. They do not match the bible.

I think this video was wonderfully explained without it being complicated. Sometimes churches will put pressure on individuals to pray in tongues and like you said make you feel you haven't got a real relationship in Jesus Christ. But these are the churches to avoid. God is interested in our hearts deep within and its man who seems to judge us on the outside. Thank you so much I found this so helpful and I have subscribed.

I was told by one church member, God doesn't answer prayers unless spoken in tongues. I told her, Christ told us how to pray, He didn't mentioned speaking in tongues. She refused what I said.

Vanida, what the church member said was definitely unbiblical and Jesus did teach us how to pray. Just to share some knowledge about Jesus he did talk about speaking in tongues.

This is comforting. I've been to churches where majority, definitely more than 3, spoke in tongues. And all at the same time.
Nobody interpreted it.
Also, isn't it supposed to be that one speaks and another interprets? No to be interpreted by the one speaking in tongues?

Paul Solby First of all, in context, 1 Corinthians 14 is referring to the assembling of believers.
Example.. In a local assembly where everyone generally speaks English, If someone started speaking Latin, then he wouldn’t be speaking to any man in that assembly because no one understands him but only God would understand him.

I rejected the speaking in tongues and mocked a lot when I was a recent christian. But 2 years later I felt like I needed to speak in tongues. So I take a time and I ask to God alone if it's come from him. I wanted this gift right now if it is come from him or I'll forget it for never ! He told me "Repent !" So I repented for mockery, false teachings, believed it comes from satan.... and
suddenly I felt something left my body (delivrance) from my mouth. I felt soooo light and free ! I was so happy and forget about why I asked to God. So I went to my bathroom take a shower and I started to worship ! Somes words comes into my mouth and I started to scream in tongues ! My tongue moved on its own. I was so happy ! It changed me a lot in my spiritual life with Christ. Start to be bold for preaching the gospel, pray for sick, delivrance, hearing his voice, patience, love, grow in him ! So when I don't know what to pray, I just pray in tongues and it's like a recharge my batteries and I'm more sensible to read the Bible, pray, etc... I can ask the interpretation and God gives me words of knowledge, of praise, and it's confirmed by the receiver. Believe the words and obey. Don't judge people like I did. Ask to him and by faith obey, and you will see his grace.
And the problem with a lot of people is just because they can't speak in tounge or do do miracles in Jesus name they start calling fake and impossible. You're literally an example to how it happens and peopel should try it. Thank you for writing this.

I have been "slain in the Holy Spirit" and until now I've wondered why it did nothing but confused me. Yes I had an entire body experience and fell back and felt light and tingly all over my body, but as I lay on the floor of the church I felt confused, not saved. I listened to this woman's words and the more I listened the more I felt something was just wrong... I didn't walk away feeling saved or enlightened but confused from the whole experience. Almost as if I were hypnotized in a sense. IT DID NOT FEEL HOLY. And now I understand why. Please beware of these things and understand if you walk away from a sensation from the Lord it should not create confusion within you but at peace. @@tertiusfloranza7528 the same happened to me. It was like I was light and tingly for just a moment and as I laid on the floor of the church I remember feeling very odd. It's like 2 voices were speaking to me. One telling me that this was not ok and the other to just relax and enjoy the "feelings." Even afterwards when the preacher lady was talking to us (kids at the time) she was telling us how we had just witnessed a tiny portion of what The Holy Spirit was capable of and even then I remember not truly believing it but questioning everything that had just happened.
I'm just glad now that God has shown me these things and has shown me the Truth and his Peace and has given me The Strength to not fall into witchcraft and hypnosis again.
I'm thankful for the experience because it has taught me me what to beware of.
My experience was different. Happened twice. The second time was no tingly feeling. It was like a mighty shock that went down my entire body. No doubt in that energy. At all.

Remmy Williams There are real kinds of speaking in tongues. But many people fake it by crowd pressure or crowd hypnosis. (Real demons works and their purpose)
Remember that don’t reject the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues still exists. Perhaps you will have this gift. (Actually some fundamentalist pastors can speak tongues during praying but they still reject it, and think it’s demonic.)
Turning people hearts to repent and making them believe in Jesus Christ are the basic works of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit can do something even bigger, not only speaking in tongues and turning people hearts. It’s all about faith.

Thank you so very much for this message. I believe that Jesus brought me here to hear this. I also was told that speaking in tongues was evidence that I was baptized in the holy spirit. I was so confused and sad because I've prayed for it but never received it. I still love the Lord very much and I cried listening to this. I finally have peace in my heart that I need to focus only on Jesus. I thought that something was wrong with me that I haven't been able to speak in tongues. Wow. I just had my first experience speaking in tongues and I wanted to share.
I was in prayer for a good 20 minutes, and asking God to speak to me. When I was done, I saw my friend had sent me a voice note of her praying for me. So I went back into prayer and listened and just kept praying with it... then, a huge wind came in through my window... and I felt like I was on fire. I began speaking in a language I didn’t understand and I began crying afterwards.
I was drenched in sweat.
I knew afterward that it was me speaking in tongues and I was praising him.
As I remember the book of Acts speaking about the topic of tongues, I looked it up after and this is what it says, it blew my mind because this is what happened exactly to me. GOD IS GOOD!!! 😭

@@nickie5767 I would urge you to study the scriptures because sadly he is mistaken. He takes the book of Corinthians out of context by saying that there always has to be an interpreter, but we see that Paul himself said that he spoke in tongues daily, we know that within the jail cell there wasn't always an interpreter.
There are two types of tongues, the first works as a sign that the person has been filled with the Holy Ghost, this occurred in Acts, the second is what is referred to in Corinthians and this is the gift of Tongues and Interpretation.
When the first occurs, sometimes it's simply a heavenly language that only God understands, or someone in the room that speaks the language may understand, whereas the second requires an interpreter, which is a gift unto itself as well.
I hope this has helped you in some way and would still tell you to not even take my word for it but search the Bible.
Look at every account in Acts, sometimes it simply says that it occured as it did in the beginning, which we know the beginning as the Day of Pentecost.

The obsession of Charismatics and Pentecostals to speak in tongues is the devil’s lie to deceive and destroy some sincere saints; replace sound doctrine and Bible preaching with entertainment, fables, and showmanship; and to disgrace the gospel of Jesus Christ. Modern speaking in tongues cannot be separated from the widespread healing frauds, laughing revivals, slaying in the Spirit, money begging, dog barking, drunk in the spirit, and other profane practices of the same parties. The leading ministers and churches of this movement are totally different from apostolic religion in doctrine and practice. This simple study will show once and for all that speaking in tongues had ended by 70 A.D.

* Bible tongues had a definite beginning. They began on the day of Pentecost in 30 AD, fifty days after the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, just as He had promised (Mark 16:17-20; Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4). Their role as a sign gift to unbelieving Israel had been suggested by Isaiah's prophecy of God speaking to Israel with men of other tongues (I Cor 14:21-22; Isaiah 28:11-12).
* Bible tongues had a definite beginning. They began with Jesus empowering His apostles to preach the gospel to all nations before Rome destroyed Jerusalem and ended the ceremonial Law (Matt 24:14; 28:18-20). God used the gift of tongues to magnify the apostles as heavenly messengers, in spite of lacking education, reputation, and human authority (Acts 4:13; 5:12-13; 8:14-19; 19:1-7).
* Bible tongues had a definite beginning. They began with the empowerment of the church, which was to worship in an entirely new way (John 4:21-24). The Spirit was to guide the apostles into all truth for writing the New Testament as the new manual for religion, but He would reveal truth by gifts until then (John 14:26; 16:13; Acts 10:28; I Cor 12:7-11; 14:37; II Tim 3:16-17; II Pet 1:21).
* Bible tongues lasted only a short while. Paul told the tongues-speaking church at Corinth that the Spirit's revelatory gifts would end (I Cor 13:8). In spite of their emphasis on prophecy, tongues, and gifts of knowledge, Paul promised that these gifts were temporary. Charity was a more excellent way of serving, for charity was permanent and would never end (I Cor 12:31; 13:8,13).
* Bible tongues were very inadequate. The spiritual gifts of prophecy, the word of knowledge, and tongues brought only a partial revelation of God's will to any man or church (I Cor 13:9). They were short-term, incomplete fixes for immediate instruction and answers to questions. Because of this, prophets had to work together, for their gifts were very limited and partial (I Cor 14:29-31).
* Bible tongues were not needed after perfect revelation came. The New Testament scriptures were the perfect revelation that ended and replaced the Spirit's revelatory gifts, which were all partial (I Cor 13:9-10). Every church then had God's complete revelation (II Tim 3:16-17; II Pet 1:19). /|

1 Corinthians 13:8-11 KJV. So the very next scripture tells when that will be: “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”
1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV. It’s says our face will look into someone else’s face.. and we will know as we are known. So what does the scripture mean by “that which is perfect is come?” It means when we see Jesus face to face and know Him and all things as He now knows us. It means when we get to heaven. The Apostles come out of the Upper Room experience and are immediately declaring the Gospel for foreigners and those foreigners are understanding what they are saying.
Many Christians in their prayer language speak in known foreign languages in the same way the Apostles spoke miraculously in foreign languages easily discernible by foreigners. That’s exactly what this exact Bible text is telling us.
It is also wrong for our young man to using only the use of tongues in the church as the only application of that particular gift.
In fact, my tongue speech has already been verified by a missionary to a specific country in Europe who has an accredited degree in that foreign language from an established accredited university. That is court level evidence which no judge or jury will dispute. Certainly some tongue speech can be in the tongue of both angels and/or man. but the Bible clearly states this, as well.
In fact, back in the early 1900s, the Pentecostal leader and Healing Evangelist John G. Lake and his organization would fund people in his ministry to go overseas to minister to the foreign country appropriate to, and if they could figure out which language their tongue speech was. Many times, once in that country God would give them the companion Gift of Interpretation so they would know exactly what they were saying.
Also the young men mistakenly ignores the the entire issue of the experience of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. How convenient. This is clearly the experience of thousands of Christians. That’s how come he does not really understand the the entire issues of Supernatural Gifts of the Holy Spirit and thus does not move in any of the gift himself. But somehow he feels moved to criticize others with old worn-out arguments that falsify the truth.
He seems to also know how not to listen directly to Jesus when he clearly make the case as to why he was teaching his Disciples the importance of why he was doing Miracle, Signs and Wonders to begin with. Because it increased the faith of others to believe that he was the Messiah.
John 4:48 - “Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.” That’s why Jesus did Miracles and why they are still needed today.
So show us the medical evidence of miracles performed by demons since that obviously must be happening all the time in the current day.
Also our friend has never been taught anything about Deliverance ministry and therefore assumes miracles might be coming from demons. He has to ‘demonize’ the people he doesn’t like becasue that wrongly cuts them down to raise up his restrictive and false Bible interpretations. These are old, wore-out teachings which stops people learning about how the Disciples learned about casting out demons directly from Jesus. It is also wrong to selfish presume that God does everything limited to the church. Jesus was out in public preaching and doing miracles in public.
Signs, Wonders and Miracles are integral to the Gospels, not mere “...bonuses......” as the young man seems to think. (Who has confused our friend here??)
It is so amazing is the way the Supernatural of the Bible is still so misunderstood in even the twentieth and twenty first centuries.
Come on people, you have to be willing to read the ENTIRE BIBLE on these issues and then research the known documented facts of what people were and are actually experiencing.

Praying in tongues, its different than speaking in tongues 1 Cor 14.13, says speaking in tongues is for the church when someone interprets, but praying in tongues 1 Cor 14.14 to15 is personal prayer , when you pray to God in tongues the Spirit intercede Rom 8.26, 27, Jude 1.20 praying in the Holy Spirit, you may also sing in tongues verse 1 Cor 14.15, so theres a difference in speaking and praying in tongues,

@leelo ibha You are grossly mistaken. You cant summon evil spirit by speaking in the language of the Holy Spirit. He is a Holy Spirit and not an evil spirit. Scripture also says that he who speaks in tongues speaks mysteries to God (1 Cor 14:2) and in another place, it calls it the tongues of angels (1 Cor 13:1) which indicates that tongues is a language of heaven and not of the earth as you have stated.
There are two kinds of tongues in the Bible.
1. The tongues of angels (the gibberish that Christians speak)
2. Tongues of men (when Christians are inspired to speak an earthly language that they previously didn't know like what happened in Acts 2:8)

This video is how I found this channel, thanks to God! I'm so thankful for Daniel bringing the bible to life! Helping me back to life! I had gone through so much confusion and hurt from churches from varying denominations. I recently found a church nearby that seemed dedicated to the whole bible and then this week found Daniels teaching and now I can have peace! I found my family 💙

Its not what I would have expected from him.
I'm over here suffering from illness and college debt due to not being able to finish programs due to my condition. So unfortunately i don't have money to give and don't know if i ever will, though I thought I was going to when I was in the last training I did.
My gift is my singing and my pure love for others, not in any of it for myself, though people in my past were blinded to that.
Before I was rejected from a certain church I had a lovely Christian worship singing/spoken word group with my fiance for 3 yrs. After starting that church he turned on me thinking that church was all that mattered, I wasn't against it but it seemed everyone was against me. The women of the church apparently "didn't accept" me and so he stopped caring for me also.
It makes no sense and cost me my dream of continuing to make music with him, which I thought was my destiny, joining our abilities into ministry so beautifully. And it was. And it makes no sense because I am a completely devoted true Christian. I would die for Him (God) and do whatever He wants. It's been soooo hard to lose such a great worship music making partnership but I trust God will lead me to do my utmost even in the midst of my health condition which I pray will one day be gone if it is His will.

When I was younger, I always believed that "Speaking in Tongues" meant someone was gifted with speaking different languages or languages in order to spread the word of God to those who speak that tongue, and others who understood what was being preached would translate for that group wanting to know the word of God.

I will give you a word that Jesus spoke to the Pharisees. The Bible says that man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. Jesus said the Pharisees were whitewashed on the outside and looked clean on the outside but inwardly they were ravenous wolves. He called them open graves. Jesus said it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man but what comes out of a mans mouth because what comes out of a mans mouth comes from the heart. Jesus said to make the inside of the cup clean first then make the outside clean second. The reason Jesus said this is because many professing Christians are inwardly lost and don’t know the Lord Jesus. Outwardly they can play the part of a Christian very well sometimes but when you really get to know them they are straight up evil deceivers. Jesus said you will know them by their fruit. The fruit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, meekness, self control. Jesus told his disciples that this is how they will know you are my disciples. If you love one another. People can fake a lot of things in the church but you can’t fake true genuine love. The Apostle Paul said even if you can speak with the tongues of angels but have not love you have nothing and that you are a clanging gong. Trust me when I say this. Seek to do the Lords will first and the Holy Spirit will distribute the gifts to you for the edification of the church. Gifts are never given in order to prop someone up to make them look more spiritual. Gifts are given to true born again believers for building up the rest of the church. It is never a selfish thing. Just first make sure your faith in Jesus Christ is real. Then just seek to love God with all your heart and all your strength and all you mind and soul. Then love your fellow human as yourself. Or when Daniel fainted while he was receiving a vision. I mean there are so many accounts in the bible about people doing 'awkward' things under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Hi I have did some little research. And I came to the question : Why do we speak in tongues . What's the meaning and what's the effect. In acts chapter 2 I believe it's talking about real languages. Because it doesn't make sense if they are unbelievers that they will understand a word what the disciples were preaching because they haven't received the spirit yet (the listeners). Then why would God want us to speak different. Can't god understand Dutch ? Look I'm thinking things through and find a point of doing something. Hannah prayed with her lips without making any noise, is that wrong or unheavenly? 1 cor 14:2 , what if a preacher from France and he preached in our church . It's not gonna build the church but himself because nobody understands him unless there is a translator. I hope you won't take me by my word but investigate the scriptures and be reasonable.

I believe God just talked to me with this video. May all glory be to Him. I'm passing through a time of revival, I'm reading the Bible by myself for first time and I want to develop my intimacy with God to high levels. The devil knows this, and he have been trying to crush me through anger and doubts about my salvation. I even ended up thinking I had to speak in tongues to be saved! I was afraid of not being saved! I thought the Holy Spirit was not in me and felt anxious (just for a short time, thank God). Now I understand this is just one of the many gifts God gives to His sons and daughters according to what He believes it's right, and His plans are the most perfect ones. God gave me not only some spiritual gifts but also a drawing & painting talent I'm trying to serve God with and to evangelize with it. Our time with self-value-discovery with Abba is so precious!
I've been praying a little to end with all salvation-doubt the devil puts on me and God have given me His peace the world doesnt give, but sometimes the doubts return and I feel like my salvation depends on what I do for him, of how many disciples I do and fruits I have and not on Grace and Christ's sacrifice. Paul said that tongues would CEASE and they did, 2000 years ago. Read Mark 16:20. The SIGN gifts were for the apostles ONLY and they CONFIRMED GOD'S WORD. That "Word" is now the bible. That means, No more apostles, and no more sign gifts because the bible is finished. There are many more scriptures that tell you the same thing but you have not studied, to know this. I've been teaching for 36 years and I use the original languages to help people like you to understand what the bible REALLY says. This guy in the video, doesn't understand a thing about tongues or gifts. So if you actually want to know what the gifts are about, then get a hold of me and I'll help you through it. Yes, very true. However, I remember being in church one Sunday, I was intensely praying and praising Yahshua. I cut out everything around me and I focused on one thing- the Almighty Most High God- and me in his throne room worshipping and praising him whole heartedly. Suddenly, I felt the holy spirit over shadow me and rise up in me then I spoke in tongues aloud, so loud you could hear me through all the loud music. I didn't want to speak out loud but God moved me to speak out loud. Also, many years ago before I had never spoken in tongues. I had been praying and fasting for about 3 days. One day while in prayer I begin to notice words that I didn't understand coming from my mouth and I tried to stop them because I was not aware of how tongues should be performed. so I tried desperately not to speak in tongues during my private prayer. suddenly the spirit rushed over me like a tidal wave of power, and I begin to speak loudly in tongues from that day, up until now.
I speak in tongues continuously morning, noon and night. The spirit never ceases to stop praying. I can join in at any time, morning, noon and night. Glory be onto yahshua hamashiach my Lord and Savior my God.! Please pray for interpretors. the body of Christ needs interpretors.. Father, please raise up tongues interpretors today.

Thank you Brother for this subject troubled myself. I struggle in most of today's churches for what I am shown in the Word of God is different to what is taught. I believe in the Word more than what is preached today & it troubles my heart. I had told the pastor of the last church I went to that I was & still am under alot of attacks form the fallen one but not once was I offered prayer. I was a youth leader for a few years & never held back the true meaning of the Word of GOD from the youth even if others didn't believe it but I always told the kid to always test what I & others told them against the Word of the Bible & to ask the Holy spirit to guide them. As I tell people it wasn't a church or a pastor or a man that brought me back to God but Jesus himself came to me, as a unbeliver & told me to believe in Him & follow Him & I am so thankful for that chance. I don't fit in many churches nor do I fit in this world but my trust & faith is in Jesus & His Word. God bless!

I grew up in a loving family but they're Catholic. I wanted to know the truth and eventually I read the Bible; watching online preachings, baptism and spritual warfare. When I first spoke in tongues and received the Holy Spirit by faith (its hard to receive water baptisms here) my dad heard me and was alarmed. Even more so, when I suddenly secluded myself to bow down in God's presence, on the floor. I was all smiles and in peace when I confronted my family at how biblically wrong and watered down most parts of their religion was. I had once dreaded this confrontation since I knew how devoted they were to this church's idols and 'miracles'. But with the Holy Spirit, I managed to provide an answer to all of my dad's explainion in defense of their religion and its idols. My right hand was shaking due to the Holy Ghost and my mom was terrified since it was the first time she saw me like that. The next day, they showed me more love than usual, and begged me not to leave them (in the religion). Their tears are my weaknesses and my mom and grandma cried that next day, fearing that I was being separated from them. But the truth is, unless they follow what is written in the Bible and form a true relationship with Jesus, it's them that'll be separated from me. And I didn't want that, so I prayed to God and He gave me that strength. But, my family still holds on to their religion. Still, I know that the seed has been planted and I trust God will save them. Thank you Lord!
If they believe in Christ and what He did on the cross and if they are living holy they are saved. You arent more saved than them just because they are catholic. Those “miracles” happen for a reason, how many times was a catholic priest able to take the demons out of people and Jesus said that demons cant go against demons so its obviously a power they got from God. Why judge catholics like that. Protestants have a pride issue where they feel like only their denomination is deserving of heaven and all catholics are damned to hell. Thats not how salvation works.
God saved you first to be His vessel to save your family, be filled with the Holy spirit..

I was sharing the gospel yesterday to one of the hardest hearts I have ever witnessed to. He new his bible, he asked me about tongues I did not have a simple clear answer. Today this video popped up🙏
Excuse Us!!...This is basically a wrong set of teachings. Look carefully at Acts 2:5
“...5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. ...”
The Apostles come out of the Upper Room experience and are immediately declaring the Gospel for foreigners and those foreigners are understanding what they are saying.
Many Christians in their prayer language speak in known foreign languages in the same way the Apostles spoke miraculously in foreign languages easily discernible by foreigners. That’s exactly what this exact Bible text is telling us.
It is also wrong for our young man to using only the use of tongues in the church as the only application of that particular gift.
In fact, my tongue speech has already been verified by a missionary to a specific country in Europe who has an accredited degree in that foreign language from an established accredited university. That is court level evidence which no judge or jury will dispute. Certainly some tongue speech can be in the tongue of both angels and/or man. but the Bible clearly states this, as well.
In fact, back in the early 1900s, the Pentecostal leader and Healing Evangelist John G. Lake and his organization would fund people in his ministry to go overseas to minister to the foreign country appropriate to, and if they could figure out which language their tongue speech was. Many times, once in that country God would give them the companion Gift of Interpretation so they would know exactly what they were saying.
Also the young men mistakenly ignores the the entire issue of the experience of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. How convenient. This is clearly the experience of thousands of Christians. That’s how come he does not really understand the the entire issues of Supernatural Gifts of the Holy Spirit and thus does not move in any of the gift himself. But somehow he feels moved to criticize others with old worn-out arguments that falsify the truth.
He seems to also know how not to listen directly to Jesus when he clearly make the case as to why he was teaching his Disciples the importance of why he was doing Miracle, Signs and Wonders to begin with. Because it increased the faith of others to believe that he was the Messiah.
John 4:48 - “Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.” That’s why Jesus did Miracles and why they are still needed today.
So show us the medical evidence of miracles performed by demons since that obviously must be happening all the time in the current day.
Also our friend has never been taught anything about Deliverance ministry and therefore assumes miracles might be coming from demons. He has to ‘demonize’ the people he doesn’t like because that wrongly cuts them down to raise up his restrictive and false Bible interpretations. These are old, wore-out teachings which stops people learning about how the Disciples learned about casting out demons directly from Jesus. It is also wrong to selfish presume that God does everything limited to the church. Jesus was out in public preaching and doing miracles in public.
Signs, Wonders and Miracles are integral to the Gospels, not mere “...bonuses......” as the young man seems to think. (Who has confused our friend here??)
It is so amazing is the way the Supernatural of the Bible is still so misunderstood in even the twentieth and twenty first centuries.
Come on people, you have to be willing to read the ENTIRE BIBLE on these issues and then research the known documented facts of what people were and are actually experiencing.

This is erroneous because tongues is the language of the Holy Spirit. Then there are divers and the gift of tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:4 Tongues edifies the spiritual body . What body? The breath of God that created the soul. Tongues is the native language of the Holy Spirit. Think…..The Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ as the GLORY of God. Didn’t Jesus pray in the spirit until He bled ? Why would He inhabit the believer and stop? Romans 8:26-27 in part “ likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities, for we know NOT WHAT WE SHOULD PRAY for as we ought, BUT the SPIRIT MAKETH iNTERCESSION for….study
and read 1 Corinthians 14 where tongues is SPEAKING TO GOD. If Jesus prayed in tongues in the flesh to God before He transitioned to a glorious body as the Holy Spirit, why would He change? In Several scriptures He INTERCEDES at the right hand of God FOR God to INTERVENE. There are several types of tongues but gifts of tongues SHOULD NOT be confused with tongues as language of Holy Spirit. What sense does it make to have the kingdom of heaven within and no spiritual dialogue with heaven?
Tongues is to the Holy Spirit as babbling is to an infant. With the infilling of the Holy Spirit the capacity increases for the anointing to increase as one seeks the RIGHTEOUSNESS, not RELIGIOUSNESS of God.Just because tongues isn’t accessible doesn’t mean it isn’t available. Not being able to access it doesn’t mean you have not received the Holy Spirit,but that you have not been filled of baptized with Him. This is man’s understanding, which is foolishness. If they can’t or don’t have something, it’s something wrong with the source or the source is flawed. Not so. You should study all scriptures about tongues and pray for Gods revelation,not leaning to your own understanding. You are doing the same thing that you’re accusing other charismatics of doing. Heresy.
