You already know more than i do it seems. :D Only had it for a couple of months, and the history I was told was sadly limited. At some point it has been used in the Danish home guard (see markings in the rear in part 1) but other than that, I don't know. Gearbox video coming soon, and currently working on bulkhead repairs, yikes :x
Primer is from danish brand, EFAPaint, using their machine primer which is for corrosion protection of plant, machinery and agricultural machinery :) Same goes for the black paint which is machine enamel.
The problem I have with these rotted out frame restorations is that the areas that are not perforated probably have 50% or less of the original cross-sectional area of steel remaining. A lot of work, but you really don't know what you have................
👍👍👍👍
Great job!!
I see you have a reinforced military style rear axle but a civvy rear cross-member and fixed gearbox cross-member. What is the history?

@@CMFotoPeak OK, both axles are reinforced mil spec but chassis is civvy. Perhaps that's what they ordered.
Great vid. Which primer did you apply?

That is true. I hammered and tried to pierce through places that looked weak, and reinforced where it was needed.
@@CMFotoPeak it really depends on how and where you plan to use the vehicle.....
