Hi mate, thanks for your upload, it’s still helping people years later. Do you know if the lower oven element is the same method, but just taking the back off? Is it possible. Thanks again.
Hi there. This shoub be great help. Im just not sure ifnit is the element thats faulty. When i turned the grill on a light use to lit up, now when i turn on no light coming on and the element is not heating.. any ideas?
it could be the thermostat as normally the light comes on till the thermostat reaches the temperature you have set it to .maybe the fuse as blown for the grill due to a fault on the element
Hello mate, do you do this as a service? We have the same oven and the bottom element is gone. Also need a new grill element. We are near Leicester. Thanks
on my oven to remove the dial section the oven needs to be brought forward as if you were going to replace the element.but what i did notice the cover over the switches LED display was tac welded so not easy to replace a temp switch as one would hope
It’s easier to remove the door .a clip either side just lift the clip both sides on the hinge and lift off the door .the door will slide off the hinges support the door when removed you can remove the screws on the bottom vent what sits between the two pieces of glass then you can clean with kitchen towel soaked in what ever cleaner and a piece of wood or wood spoon or what ever fits .
Hi I removed our old dodgy element but the spade connector wires fell into the back of the oven so I removed the back to retrieve them but I don't know which one goes where now both are grey. Any help please.
@@brentdiamondbrown3517 thanks alot mate really appreciate the advice i realy did not want to shell out £120 for an electrician for something this straight forward.
cant for the life of me get these doors off. seems to be the exact same oven/grill as you - but the hinge is slightly different - none of them will budge in any direction. thing i need to hit them with WD40 or something
Perfect thank you, we replaced the element in our Lamona oven exactly as you described. It works perfectly.
Absolute legend 👍🏻 thank you

does the element have two or three connectors on it if three what colour wire is the third
@@brentdiamondbrown3517 theres only 2 both grey
@@sajidkhanmahmood if the old element only as two connecters on it for two wires it does not matter which way round the wires go
