If you ever want the factory stereo to have 4 channel ability you need to split the 2 channels that are bridged from the factory. It’s not too hard. Very rare for the factory harness to fit a newer stereo.

Thank you for sharing this. Super easy solution and sounds fine, especially for the money. I already upgraded my speakers, so it sounded great. My antenna connection was different but probably because I had the nav version. Universal adapter at Walmart worked fine. Thanks again!!!

Thank you for the video. I have an SRT6 convertible and I've been wanting to change out my radio as well. I'll be looking for that same radio you installed since it looked so easy.

Any recommendations to get the stereo to slide in snug? I can’t get the cage to hold my stereo in place, I’ve been messing with the little tabs but no luck lol

Crutchfield is a good place to get cradles that will fit.

I’m looking at a Crossfire and shocked at how easy this install is. I’ve never seen an aftermarket radio compatible with a factory like that. How does it sound compared to stock?

      It sounds surprisingly good.

Thanks for a great video. Any words of advice about pros and cons of a crossfire?

Just keep the maintenance up on it and whatever you do do not bust a headlight because those are very expensive to replace.

I’m a Ford guy but would like to have a roadster of some sort. Not a big fan of Miatas and want something a little bigger too. I found an 06 Crossfire Limited with 32k miles. One owner car. It’s a 6 speed manual which is what I want. We will see what the dealership comes up with.

If I was you just make sure the headlights are OK and they’re not bad little cars.
