Hi great video's. I am doing similar project, but can not identify the bearings i need - no colour on side? My engine is a 2yl.....any guidance appreciated👍

Wow, appreciate the quick response, i have exact same issue as yours, ie the bearing has turned and blocked the oil. I too shop at CMSnl but their siye has two part numbers 1 is black and 1 is blue. Unfortunately on the bearings i removef there is no colour . Thanks again - great video's (I have 3 virago's : xv700 , xv535dx and have just this xv535dx bobber albeit with a 2yl engine)👍
@@stevetombs8848 Ah ok, well the clearance I can imagine will not make much difference. Mine is running just fine with this replacement. I’m not sure how you would check the clearance anyway as it is a ring, albeit a split ring type bearing, it would be hard to test it with plastiguage.
