"Describe yourself in 3 words" Thats not a pageant question. Its so easy and casual. I cant imagine that question were asked in these days of Miss Universe
That's why questions should come from judges, rather than fellow contestants, a fellow contestants asking question will depend a lot on the personality, intelligence, experiences of a person, and that will vary contestant to contestant, since they came from different-different countries and continents with vastly different lifestyle and environment. While being a judge you would be obviously a person with more authority, experiences and intelligence. Here if you see Paraguay asked very easy question, while Amelia Vega asked comparatively tougher question to miss australia, also Trinidad and Tobago and USA got tougher questions. I really hate this concept which was used from 2002-2006. Specially from 2003-06, there were just 6 questions in total that was even a bad choice with less options.
I thought Puerto Rico had the best answer of all. If this was IMG she would have probably won. I'm not so impressed to Australia and USA's answers even though they are both native English speakers.
I beg to differ. Her content of the answer was good but the delivery can be better. France 2016 gave a good answer but it sounded really bad after the translation. Hence IMG doesn’t necessarily choose the best answer imo.

Wow Puerto Rico is gorgeous. I think it's her face to lip ratio. She has a mouth that is a goof size to her face. It's not a fake plumped up lip, you can see it is natural because it doesn't have that balloony fullness, just the size of her mouth compliments her face and makes her look sexy and very womanly.
I think Miss USA and Trinidad should have been the two .. not Australia. Miss Australia was plain and dull, except that one time she strutted with her walk.I guess the judges liked that but should have been all over beauty , personality and intellect. Still, she is, to me, tied with Olivia Jordan in 2015 as the only worthy Caucasian candidates to have represented U.S.A. at Miss Universe this century. Trinidad and Tobago was the darkhorse that year and had she altered her pasarella and catwalk during the final, as well as had better composure during the Q&A round, she could have broken the Australia-U.S.A. showdown that year and have actually won. Puerto Rico was so-so although she might have chosen a better evening gown. I still sort of wish Paraguay would send strong future candidates again at Miss Universe like how they did in 2004 and 2006.
