If only Venezuela used her interpreter, she might have been able to express more. She actually had a strong answer to a difficult question.
She was kill visiting venezuela. Sad fact, a country with bad and selfish goverments can kill you.
I thought she did well.

I don’t think it was a matter of using the interpreter or not. Monica had pretty good English but the question wasn’t so easy to deal with as she had to try to be politically correct.

Natalie was so poised. She has best body, very confidence, intelligent, well spoken and humility. Very positive attitude like she said.
Ms Canada is deserving of the title. She is friendly and humble I think.
Miss Canada’s answer is so phenomenal, she used proverbial phrase “glass half empty or half full” as a general litmus test showcasing her worldview. She’s very good in employing rhetoric to epitomize a particular situation, which in this case is her optimism
That line is overused and none to be boast of. It's more like everyone knows that already. Unless, yiu don't get enough education or didn't learn or heard that in highschool or college.

She got the easiest question and her answer wasn’t really ground breaking. It was just the only one that was most clear in English.
If I remember correctly Natalie was then studying to become a doctor? Not surprised her answer was so strong & to the point.

1st time I saw all latina answered all questions in English inspite of having an interpreter. Very nice..
thats because latinos speak different languages french, italian, portuguese, Spanish and romanian
They're all gorgeous and well spoken. Nice to know that they didn't take advantage of getting the extra time to think and speak by answering without a translator. Miss Mexico 2020 cheated by having a translator translate her answer for her final statement when she didn't have a translater for her top 5 answer. Her translator made her answer sound better than what she actually said.
@@tw5543 The alternative would have been her speaking in broken English which is even worse/more unfair. Although there are pros and cons of using a translator
1) The translator could make the answer sound better
2) contestants who speak/ understand English have extra time to think

Monica grew up in Florida. DR and Puerto rico grew up speaking English. Mexico on the other hand went or was sent to Canada to learn English
The top five spoke in English. Four of the contestants their first language is Spanish and Canada her first language is Russian.
Mexico could speak straight English, though she asked the translator to translate the question so that she could have more time to think and process and her answer. Nice job. hahaha
Same thing Mexico 2020 did in 2021 to steal the MU crown. Cheaters!
@@tresdcfbukvgiouyth Cheaters don't deserve what they get by cheating. Mexican candidates shouldn't be allowed to have a translator since they are usually fluent both in English and Spanish.
Or maybe they just want to be sure they understood the question and if they feel confident enough to answer in English I don’t think they should be penalized ?!

It's clear to me Canada gave the best answer. And she was original in farewelling in Thai. No other delegate from MU had done that in the final round.
That is not completely true, in 2007 a few contestants in the top 5 gave the greetings in Spanish, they greeted to the audience Mexico was the host, those were Brasil, Japón, USA and even venezuela but she speak Spanish as her first language

Here because of Monica Spear.Been following her life (and death) recently (after I saw a song her friend wrote her after her passing ,called "amiga".) And my heart mourns. What a kind spirit. You've mentioned how you felt about having a difficult time answering this question because you didn't want to talk about politics. U mentioned on your question that the solution is to help eachother (in regards to the difficulty your country Venezuela is going thru). I would imagine if more people helped eachother the violence wouldn't be so big in Venezuela costing so many lives due to violence. You included. As your husband. And your family especially your daughter trying to recover the pieces of healing somehow... There is so much darkness as there is kindness in this human world. I hope one day your daughter's deep wounds will transform into such love as she sees countless times how you have instilled your heart so much in this world. When we help eachother..:))) your legacy lives on forever.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: not sure that being yourself is what men can learn most from women
CANADA: the best answer of the five. You can tell she was like “yessss I have the best conclusion EVER”. She was so excited that she didn’t screw up.
VENEZUELA: tough question. the economic and political problems of Venezuela were because of the government but she couldn’t say that in front of a billion people. It’s always safer to go with the environment. Billy was like “k, bye”.

If Venezuela use her interpreter she make a higher position but she answer in English because she pressured by the four contestant before her
I thought 4 latina girls do communicate good English. By using interpreter will give them at least 2minutes more considering the question and give the best answer.

@@jeanalexlouis9790 there are times that questions maybe in difficult english e.g. new vocabulary etc. hearing them, they speak basic english, so just in case, they need those translator.

Se llama estrategia. Y fue muy buena estrategia por parte de México. No importaba a qué país le tocara, la pregunta iba a hundir a la que le tocara= punto para ella. No fue suficiente pero la jugó bien. Las demás hicieron preguntas de "tu mayor reto", "tu experiencia blablabla" y viene México y hace una pregunta de política. Estrategia.

Las reinas se han dado cuenta que haciendo uso del traductor ganan más tiempo para tener más elocuencia en sus respuestas, además que ellos las ayudan a organizar las ideas, entonces es menos arriesgado hablar un segundo idioma y dar un buen argumento en 30 segundos.

the translation of questions to Spanish gave the Latina contestants the time they needed to think of their answers. Their questions in English were translated to Spanish and then they answered in English. that was a strategy.
But none of the Latinas won. Their strategy failed 😂 Natalie is unstoppable that night.
