I remember the peebles on the roads..seaweed....flooding....and sea walls demolished...but good to see what a slight breeze does to the roads

Was there rain with the storm if so I bet it was horizontal. There was an old greenhouse on your trip it didn't look as if was damaged - more than neglect! Thanks again Ross - but you can keep the 6 degrees. Summer (NZ) here and very warm.

Never seen the roads around the west coast like that. Hope that is a one off event.
I do remember driving off the ferry years ago in 1989 when there was a big storm that swept containers of the highly toxic lindane chemical into the sea just off of Alderney.
As we were driving along the cobo coast road I remember a huge stone was thrown up by the waves and breached the sea wall. It landed with a loud bang just to our left side of the car. It was a near miss.
Very nice to see Vazon and Cobo again. Happy memories of childhood where auntie Molly would take us to the beach most summer evening after school. Tea on the beach until sundown. 😊

An excellent drive - showing the island as visitors rarely see it - I was there one winter and I walked into town - never felt so cold ! And yet people said me when I came back " bet it was warmer there !" Always high quality output from this channel !.

I can imagine Guernsey took a pounding with the storm, as the amount of sand on the road and blowing off the beech was something to see. You could hear it's grittiness hitting the van as you drove along. The clouds looked foreboding and those waves looked wild and choppy too. I hope no one lost their electric during the storm? Where I am in the North West near the coast it was also bad and some people a week on still have no electricity. A neighbouring village lost their power, while our lights flickered all night. I had a bit of damage in the back garden, it knocked over a cast iron water feature and broke some glass in the greenhouse too. I hope things have settled down and are ok now in Guernsey. Glad you didn't go out to film as it was bad and was best to stay indoors with your family.

Hello can you tell me what is the healthcare system in guernsey? Also if the healthcare there is good?

Hi , you have to pay for doctors appointments as we are not part of the NHS like the uk is. In general the healthcare is good from what I have experienced.
