I live in Florida and I love Nate Eaton and East Idaho News.❤ I don’t know anyone in Idaho. Started watching Nate’s reporting on Lori Vallow and then found his Secret Santa. Idaho is a beautiful state and the people there seem wonderful. Not many newspapers left like yours that are so trustworthy and fair in its reporting.
What a GREAT interview! I had written so many question down at the onset, and later they were answered! (e.g. @23:40 got the answer of family life being affected) ONE question I have always had (as someone who has had the experience) is being gifted a REALLY expensive gift, that I had to pay unexpected taxes on such a gift. I was not prepared, nor understood at the time that I would have to pay taxes. I wonder the tax implications on those who have NO FUNDS that are given a Secret Santa gift, and wonder if Secret Santa "grosses up" for taxes to the recipient. (As I found out much later, some companies that give gifts actually do such for recipients!). I was also surprised that Nate ONLY got 900 emails for the Lori/Chad case. And this interviewer was fabulous, did it all without notes! WOW! And agree, we ALL cry every morning of Secret Santa as it is so heartfelt for those individuals. Love ya Nate, and thanks for the interview! Peggy, can you help with posting this on Nate's channel also, as the viewership on this post needs boosting?
