  • Take an in depth look at our 1994 Toyota 80 Series LandCruiser. This old beast is a HZJ80 with 457,000 km's on the clock. In this tour, we take a look at the pros and cons of our setup and what it's really like to travel Australia in a vehicle like this. This car was our home for two years and it took us all around the country.

    Great video guys I subbed straight away when I spotted your 80 series. I have the same year except mine is a 4.5 petrol bought it just as covid hit for 10 grand. One owner mint condition 350,0000 when I got it and I love her...even though she gets about 300 metres to the litre lol. Many camping trips already with a basic set up. I have always felt very comfortable taking her long distance touring and camping. Love your channel and looking forward to following your new bus build cheers

    Awesome video guys. So glad I stumbled across you two. Your videography and editing is unreal. I have the exact same 80 with same specs and same ks 😊. We just have a double bed inside as the only real difference. Wish we were able to travel full time for 2 years like you have. My main question as I couldn't see it in your FAQs... Is how have you been able to support yourself for 2 years what's your main source of income on the road?

    • @_ourgreatescape
      @_ourgreatescape  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Paul! Can't beat a good 80. We initially saved for a year of travel but then worked a couple of different jobs along the way and we now run our media business on the road. This is our main source of income now.

    That’s a sick truck y’all. For your one stone arm rests; which ones did you use? I can only find the ones for the 70 and the 200 series; I really wanna sort those tho. Any info there would be most helpful. Keep it up, that’s a great truck

    • @_ourgreatescape
      @_ourgreatescape  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! We used a 70 series armrest. They fit straight onto the standard model 80 series. You can also fit them on GXL 80s with slight modification.
