This week, we give an honest and in-depth look inside, under and out of our land cruiser 80 series and how we have set it up for full-time travelling. We go through all the modifications, the engine bay, the wheels, the interior and the camping fit out. We also go through what we like the most about the set up and what we would change if you had our time over again so you can learn from our mistakes haha. Best get another set of roof bars and spread the load before you damage the gutters cause that part is not designed for all the weight, especially when u guys are in it and testing out the suspension.👩❤💋👨🤘

You guys need a winch on the front of your vehicle it'll bolt right on very handy if you get stuck
As a teen I did work experience in Toyota Service center, I totally recommend keeping this car. When new, these cars sold themselves. Solid vehicle. Keep this car, look after it. Very good car.

Liking that Drifta awning and the way you can keep your boards on the roof top tent when extending
Yeah the rooftop comes with roof racks on top, so much more room inside the car with the boards on top. It can take up to 70kg on top of the rooftop.

IMHO, you've done a great job with your car.👍 I especially like your communications setup and totally agree with the idea of a centralized 12vdc charging station. I like having power outlets everywhere but I hate having to charge things like my camera gear all over the place.

Hahahaha sneaky spot! Sex at Dawn by Christopher Ryan, bloody fascinating read! Yeah the rooftop has far exceeded our expectations. Make sure you get the timber board to put under the mattress to stop any condensation coming through. The timber with the eggshell mattress and a mattress topper, you’ll be sleeping like a baby 👌🏼

How's the fuel economy?
14L/100 on the highway fully loaded but I was nursing the crap out of it 😂
@@wrightysroot I feel like that's really good all things considered. My 2002 Prado has an extra 80k on the clock over your 80 and she does 16L/100 with 50/50 rural/small town driving.
