I like that Zoro is the one who saves Bonney from that water. It's like he repays her for when she saved him from the Celestial Dragon back on Sabaody 2 years ago.
Well... Kizaru would've pulled up to the island the same way he did later beating any supernova he came across. Like he did with Hawkins. She didn't save him because Is Zoro is equally dangerous as Luffy, The Celestial dragon was gonna get hit either way. Sanji, as well as chopper wudve attack as well.

Another visual cue besides the fact that we don't see where Sabo is, is that all the citizens were looking straight up at the light, while Sabo was looking to the side.

I don't care about him lol ... I don't like villains who were meaningfully defeated coming back. So no Crocodile, no Rob Lucci, no Enel... but I do wanna say that Crocodile might be an exception because of that Cross Guild idea.

It's annoying because it's another one of Oda's fakout deaths but also because he chose to reveal Bon's status via a cover story instead of having him come back and do something. It's completely disrespectful to the character and anticlimactic. Plus now a decent portion of the fanbase doesn't even know about Bon's status because a huge chunk of people are either Anime only or they watched the anime until they caught up and then got on the manga but caught up after 666 so they missed its chapter and didn't see the cover page.

I found Robin's reaction to be the most interesting, she was speechless like she heard something like that before. Shanks's reaction is also important probably because he recognized his captain's dream, maybe that's when he decided to give the fruit to Luffy. I still support the word wide banquet theory because it makes sense and I really like it

I personally think his dream is to sail to the moon or something of that nature. I’m looking at jimbei reaction specifically, he’s the helmsman so he would be in charge of sailing the sunny to get there so to his reaction being like “I’ve got to take it seriously” makes me feel his role in luffys dream is somewhat crucial. Also Frank’s reaction makes me feel that way too because he wanted to make a ship that could sail the world so Luffy wanting to sail to the moon is something he’d be excited about, and the fact that oda made sure to show the Sunny’s reaction as well just leads me to believe his dream is something of that nature even more.
The last couple of chapters have just been amazing to me. I'm some what glad to be out of wano now because we get this and just so much has happened.... it's great. Love the vids, I look forward to them every sunday
I think Luffy’s dream is to go to Space/Moon because it’s similar to how people reacted when he said he wanted to go to Sky Island. And look at the only person confirmed to go to space.
Imagine Luffy, being the first man on the moon (after 800 years) and saying his first words as he steps on, being transmitted all over the known world ... "If you are hungry, EAT." Maybe one piece just means one piece of whatever food is, for everyone, so no one stays hungry.
I think part of the reason we haven't seen shanks' reaction to the dream, is because his reaction is a result of his own motivations for doing things. I think he cried both when Roger said it, and when luffy said it because it hits close to home for him In fact, that scene where shanks is crying into Roger's chest may even be related to his reaction to the dream?
The way Oda drew the panels with Lulucians looking at the light right before it hits them could support your theory that Sabo might indeed have been out on a ship or a nearby island. Panels with Lulucians were shown looking up while Sabo seems to look on his right. Either way, this could be a picture of what the final battle would look like.
Yes it's great we get to learn more about Jewelry Bonney finally. Potentially we can learn more about Kuma through her too. The only supernova we need more of now is Urouge. Maybe he meets the strawhats on Elbaf.

I feel like the dream has something to do with Roger’s decision to turn himself in mainly because of Rayliegh’s reaction to it saying he’s never laughed and cried so much. Seems like Roger accomplished what he wanted whatever that is

What if the dream is to make everyone in the world a pirate? Roger certainly made a lot of progress towards the dream, but luffy could maybe actually achieve it once he finds one piece at the right time. Still missing something but just worlds biggest party isn’t outlandish enough to get all these reactions

Its possible Enel tried to imitate Uranus but it uses light instead of lightning, the explosion is the same you get from pacifista and Kizaru. It's also possible that this isn't Uranus but something Vegapunk created.
For sure Robin respects Sabo and knows Sabo wants to reveal it himself to Luffy that he is alive. Important moments like that would suck if it would come from other people other than Sabo himself meeting luffy face to face.
Nah that's daft. Unless Sabo expressly asked her not to it would be a huge dick move to watch your friend sufferimg through the loss of what he thinks is his last surviving brother while you know his other brothee is alive.
@@enumaelish9193 Well it's 2 years later. I don't think Luffy is exactly "suffering" through the loss of his brother. Besides, it would suck from the reader's point of view if we found out Sabo is alive from Robin instead of seeing the reunion.
@@enumaelish9193 that's the part I don't like about Robin I feel like she's keeping a lot of secrets from her crew, she has some strange reactions and inner thoughts here and there like for instance her reaction to Kuma protecting the Sunny. But I think most of these secrets are from the revolutionary army but still what is more important to you your crew who saved you or the revolutionary army that you just met !
Sawyer great video. And you are on point about 15:50, not to mention that in this chapter Sanji doesn't have his normal #3 on this shirt, but #32. If you take a look at volume 32 you will see how this is 100% a reference.
Think about it from a in-world point of view :Pedro's dream about bring the dawn might not have anything to do with Luffy (we, as readers are much more certain), but it definitely have something to do with Zou, so sending Carrot to Zou does make sense for Pedro's dream.
I genuinely think I have figured out Luffy’s dream. “I’m going to make everyone’s dreams come true!” His dream is childish and seemingly impossible based on their reactions. Joyboy made a promise to bring the Mermaid Princess to the top….her dream. Luffy’s whole voyage is essentially a springboard to complete his crews dreams. And it also fills in with the idea of inherited will.
I had the same theory a couple days back. Still doubtful it is this but makes more sense than a world party to me. I think it’s something along the lines of making a world where everyone can free follow their dreams. Biggest reason I think this makes more sense is the following: Uta tells Luffy her dream of sailing with Shanks forever Uta challenged Luffy to find his dream Luffy could come up with his dream until he found out Uta was prevented from living her dream After hearing this, he then makes up his mind on what his dream is - to make a world where everyone is free/empowered to pursue their dreams He’s already doing with his crew as you said, but not just them. He’s been reigniting the flames for friends and foes alike. Kobe, Croco, Bellamy, Buggy all have been inspired to follow their dreams after meeting Luffy.

Hey Sawyer, been watching you for years mane. It was a good point that you bought up if it was imu’s voice or the gorosei’s voice that said that the kingdom never existed. If it is Imu, then it reminds me MHA the New Order quirk. Imu could have the order order fruit, which can be pretty self explanatory. If she has an Ancient weapon to back her up, that’s even more convenient for her. Finally the fact that luffy has the devil fruit that can make him attain freedom from anything, including orders maybe? Just a thought
Sawyer, remember when the Fire Tank pirates' ship got attracted to the sky by some weird Large Boulder Object. That object also had faucets or outlets. That was a huge foreshadowing and I think this might be the same weapon used on Lulusia kingdom. One other small thing that I thought about is the the Gorosei are the ones controlling this under I'm's command. Cuz they asked what "light" should we extinguish next
I think this chapter really solidified my question marks towards caribou, I don't like him never have, so even if he has learnt all this super useful information I've been ignoring him and didnt care what Oda wanted to do with him, but now that he is STILL with the crew now I'm actually questioning what oda is trying to do with this character

I feel like you have a too meta way to read one piece. Where i felt like that this was a nice chapter of crew interaction and them sharing information that they dont know. To each theyr own but if every time the characters talk is only for it to be an avenue to share information to us and not to interact beetween them it wouldnt be ok. Grand line review pointed out that the light source was inconsistent, with the people on the island it was coming from above but sabos was coming from the side
I saw a comment on reddit that noted there were about 16 lines coming from the weapon, 16? 16 Bullets of Holy ammunition? Doflamingo knows about the treasure of Marejois, does he know about Imu, or the weapon he used? Might the treasure of Marejois be an ancient weapon?
I'd say review the earlier scans only for the super big chapters! Gets more views the sooner you upload the reviews for viral chapters. But for more normal chapters review when official drops

While watching this video, I searched up the basis for Enel's name to see if there was a hint there (this happens a lot when watching Sawyer's videos). And the wiki says that 'Enel' could be based on Enlil, a Mesopotmian god of storms (and a few other things). What really caught my eye, though, is Enlil is closely involved with ancient 'great flood' myths, and in most versions of the story he ends up granting immortality to a mortal for surviving the flood. So maybe Oda is adapting this story, and a previous user of Enel's fruit (or an actual god if one exists in One Piece) gave Imu immortality for surviving the flooding of the world? I hope we do see an explanation for why the world is the way it is. When Sawyer was talking about the various yonkou territories being comprised of several islands and people brought together, and that Nami said the Red Line was made up of many islands, it made me wonder if when the Red Line is eventually 'destroyed' that the landmasses will drift around till we get a world that looks more like ours, continents and all. Or it could end up as a supercontintent, we already have Pangaea referenced in the story. Thanks for the great analysis as always, Sawyer!
If you look at when Enel destroys Angel Island, there’s smoke left behind. But with this strike from the WG, nothing is left. No smoke or debris which is unusual for explosions in One Piece. I think the WG teleported Lulusia away

What if the dream is to make everyone in the world a pirate? Roger certainly made a lot of progress towards the dream, but luffy could maybe actually achieve it once he finds one piece at the right time. Still missing something but just worlds biggest party isn’t outlandish enough to get all these reactions
I like how you don't upload your reviews ASAP. I can tell you use that time to compile your thoughts and it makes you come off as a very well spoken and articulate person.
I always watch and wait for your reviews. Been following since the naruto days and i always felt that your views and takes were always the most balanced take of human psyche/character along side real life knowledge and lore, all WITHOUT making crazy clickbait theories and titles. While you do have some wild guesses and thoughts about how the series could go, all your views and complaints are well grounded and come from a genuine fan pov, rather than just a hype man talking about a series.

Its possible Enel tried to imitate Uranus but it uses light instead of lightning, the explosion is the same you get from pacifista and Kizaru. It's also possible that this isn't Uranus but something Vegapunk created.
For sure Robin respects Sabo and knows Sabo wants to reveal it himself to Luffy that he is alive. Important moments like that would suck if it would come from other people other than Sabo himself meeting luffy face to face.
Nah that's daft. Unless Sabo expressly asked her not to it would be a huge dick move to watch your friend sufferimg through the loss of what he thinks is his last surviving brother while you know his other brothee is alive.
@@enumaelish9193 Well it's 2 years later. I don't think Luffy is exactly "suffering" through the loss of his brother. Besides, it would suck from the reader's point of view if we found out Sabo is alive from Robin instead of seeing the reunion.
@@enumaelish9193 that's the part I don't like about Robin I feel like she's keeping a lot of secrets from her crew, she has some strange reactions and inner thoughts here and there like for instance her reaction to Kuma protecting the Sunny. But I think most of these secrets are from the revolutionary army but still what is more important to you your crew who saved you or the revolutionary army that you just met !

Think about it from a in-world point of view :Pedro's dream about bring the dawn might not have anything to do with Luffy (we, as readers are much more certain), but it definitely have something to do with Zou, so sending Carrot to Zou does make sense for Pedro's dream.

I genuinely think I have figured out Luffy’s dream.
“I’m going to make everyone’s dreams come true!”
His dream is childish and seemingly impossible based on their reactions. Joyboy made a promise to bring the Mermaid Princess to the top….her dream. Luffy’s whole voyage is essentially a springboard to complete his crews dreams. And it also fills in with the idea of inherited will.
I had the same theory a couple days back.
Still doubtful it is this but makes more sense than a world party to me.
I think it’s something along the lines of making a world where everyone can free follow their dreams.
Biggest reason I think this makes more sense is the following:
Uta tells Luffy her dream of sailing with Shanks forever
Uta challenged Luffy to find his dream
Luffy could come up with his dream until he found out Uta was prevented from living her dream
After hearing this, he then makes up his mind on what his dream is - to make a world where everyone is free/empowered to pursue their dreams
He’s already doing with his crew as you said, but not just them. He’s been reigniting the flames for friends and foes alike. Kobe, Croco, Bellamy, Buggy all have been inspired to follow their dreams after meeting Luffy.

Hey Sawyer, been watching you for years mane. It was a good point that you bought up if it was imu’s voice or the gorosei’s voice that said that the kingdom never existed. If it is Imu, then it reminds me MHA the New Order quirk. Imu could have the order order fruit, which can be pretty self explanatory. If she has an Ancient weapon to back her up, that’s even more convenient for her. Finally the fact that luffy has the devil fruit that can make him attain freedom from anything, including orders maybe? Just a thought
Sawyer, remember when the Fire Tank pirates' ship got attracted to the sky by some weird Large Boulder Object.
That object also had faucets or outlets. That was a huge foreshadowing and I think this might be the same weapon used on Lulusia kingdom.
One other small thing that I thought about is the the Gorosei are the ones controlling this under I'm's command. Cuz they asked what "light" should we extinguish next
I'm thinking what Robin read that she didn't mention has to do with Bartolomeo getting in trouble
I think this chapter really solidified my question marks towards caribou, I don't like him never have, so even if he has learnt all this super useful information I've been ignoring him and didnt care what Oda wanted to do with him, but now that he is STILL with the crew now I'm actually questioning what oda is trying to do with this character
I think he's just the ugly member of the Strawhats that they need to complete the crew, whereas everyone else is charming or attractive.

I feel like you have a too meta way to read one piece. Where i felt like that this was a nice chapter of crew interaction and them sharing information that they dont know. To each theyr own but if every time the characters talk is only for it to be an avenue to share information to us and not to interact beetween them it wouldnt be ok. I hope i did a good job explaining how i feel.

While watching this video, I searched up the basis for Enel's name to see if there was a hint there (this happens a lot when watching Sawyer's videos). And the wiki says that 'Enel' could be based on Enlil, a Mesopotmian god of storms (and a few other things). What really caught my eye, though, is Enlil is closely involved with ancient 'great flood' myths, and in most versions of the story he ends up granting immortality to a mortal for surviving the flood. So maybe Oda is adapting this story, and a previous user of Enel's fruit (or an actual god if one exists in One Piece) gave Imu immortality for surviving the flooding of the world? I hope we do see an explanation for why the world is the way it is.
When Sawyer was talking about the various yonkou territories being comprised of several islands and people brought together, and that Nami said the Red Line was made up of many islands, it made me wonder if when the Red Line is eventually 'destroyed' that the landmasses will drift around till we get a world that looks more like ours, continents and all. Or it could end up as a supercontintent, we already have Pangaea referenced in the story.

If you look at when Enel destroys Angel Island, there’s smoke left behind. But with this strike from the WG, nothing is left. No smoke or debris which is unusual for explosions in One Piece. I think the WG teleported Lulusia away
