    Brings back memories of my newspaper production days in the '70s. It was mentioned briefly in the video, but I remember how important it was to accurately record the weight of the plate before and after the bath. That information was necessary to maintain the proper balance of acid in the bath.

    50 years ago i used to hang out in my Dad's shop and I recognize most of the steps. His process camera was mostly wood (with arc lamps) and he made zinc plates but the principles are the same.

    I was wondering how it was done. Modern machinery no doubt makes it easier now than 1918!
