Its amazing how well Ronnie fits in with these new athletes. He ain't lifting like he used to but just his history alone makes him forever a part of the iron gang.
He's the GOAT, and it's a video. Larry Wheels is pretty easy to get along with I find in all of his collaborations. There are quite a few monsters with cray physiques or feats of strength, but Larry has made it big primarily on the strength of his personality. edit: I know it's been said often, but it's sad to see someone who made their life out of their physicality, unable to even walk unassisted. I'm not sure any level of fame and fortune is worth being a cripple for the last 30+? years of your life.
Sorry Larry those partial reps wouldn't count in a professional power lifting contest. If you can't do a full range of motion on your bench with heavy ass weight then your not strong at all. Dumb lazy partial bro reps don't count. I suggest you teach Big Boy on how to do bench press using a full range with proper form. Maybe put 700 pounds on the bench press for him and see if he can do 1 rep with a full range of motion, no bouncing off the chest either. Because it's considered cheating. I guarantee Big Boy would fail the lift if he tried a 700 pound bench press using a full range of motion with a pause.

I get that some people are sad seeing Ronnie on crutches, but I'm much happier to see him spending time with lifters that are popular today. Keep it up, Ron!
Ronnie's ideal training isn't just many reps, it's many reps with heavy ass weight. I don't remember him going for 1 rep maxes unless it was deadlift for competition and such, but in training from what I remember he was going for reps and heavy weight. That's why he was so strong and big, because he managed to combine both of them. Heavy for some people it's light for others and that's my approach as well. I just hope I will be ready, when I'm close to injuries so I can back off. It's a risk no doubt, but if you want to get stronger and bigger, with small increments, this is the way.
