Avi's solo music is nothing short of brilliant. I love all three of his albums, and the songs all speak to me on a very personal level. I have been telling people that I've found a kindred spirit in Avi and his music (you might notice the long hair and beard on my profile photo). His departure from PTX was heartbreaking, but it's now so apparent that this was something that he HAD to do. This music that was inside of him needed to be let out to the world, and it would have never worked in Pentatonix. This is HIS music, and he has gifted the rest of us with his haunting magnificent genius!!
I couldn't have said it better! I also found a kindred spirit in Avi, truly, his soul feels somehow connected to mine, and I feel like we both love nature on the same level. It's just the level of vulnerability and sensitivity that I connect to. Every time he has something new I'm amazed more and more. I dream of meeting him one day 🤩 thank you for the comment ❤️
Yes, Avi confirmed on Twitter that he did ALL of the vocals. Very few instruments--just some percussion and a little bit of organ. Thank you for loving Avi as much as I do.

@@vpotter2010 from his new work clips floating around this week I don't think his focus is on bass necessarily. He's certainly a bass, not as low as Tim, but it seems he is much more focused on all around vocals and original work. Ill know for sure at the end of the month after i get to hear him live. Stuff sounds great from what I can tell so far.
@@Lookinforrealmusic Tim isn't just a bass either... Home Free's "Mayday" is a good showcase for Tim's range. I don't feel like these guys are in a competition or anything like that. But to suggest that AVI isn't comparable to anyone is subjective to not being aware of the similar abilities of other "bass" singers.

The wierd thing Is it does, but at the same time it doesnt...
I kind of think its the common genre that makes them sound familiar.
This speaks to something basic in me.
I little like Chris Stapleton but in a lower register and with a little less growl.
First song of his I have liked since he left PTX. Before too much higher voice experimentation before. This is the style he should be doing.

You like Avi... check out "Home Free" and their cover of "Ring of Fire"... Their bass, Tim Foust will rumble your socks off... maybe other things... but after reacting to Ring of Fire... his best bass is in "Hillbilly Bone". I promise you won't be disappointed.
