Sam (their drummer), is and has been the sole producer on all of their material since joining the band in 2013. He also is the principle songwriter and does all the logistics of the tech on tour as well. Dude is talented and can be reflected on how well done the songwriting is on this album along with how tight and crisp the production is. ODDWORLD along with the newest Boundaries release, is my Record Of The Year. Great reaction / review as always my friend!
Got to see these open for Don Broco, so good live. great to see them releasing banger after banger. Hopefully next time they are back in the UK its for their own tour!
@@neotradnous It's been a thing in nu metal since the invention of the genre only the biggest bands released albums that were longer like an hour or 50 minutes which imo is just too damn long for music like nu metal
I love everything about this album. I bought it physical too (gotta support the artists you ❤️). But I feel like it would have benefitted from at least one or two more songs. I don't know if it was because half the songs were singles or what, but I just wanted more when it finished. Hopefully the wait won't be long.
I've heard one song by Ocean Grove before going into this album, I need to listen to the other stuff. I haven't had this much fun since the Das Album stream lmao. Also W stream, so many bangers that day.
This album feels great to have in 2024 going into 2025. Very POD / Koran vibes, but then others like Il Nino and Spineshank, it’s such a good album, miss this sound
Australia might be home to a heap of known metalcore bands, over a long time, but we never had a big nu metal band. This album makes up for that for me. I’d have frothed for this at 15yo
I liked their last album better but this was still solid af, good to see the old OG boys are back in the band too, very interested to see what they have next
I was talking to the guys, don't worry it's short, more to come sooner than later :) This album is really fucking good though, surpassed Up In The Air Forever :D I think I like Flip Phone Fantasy more though and ofc Rhapsody
I would suggest to all that love nu metal to look up some of the smaller nu metal bands like Gazzoleen, LeechSeed, Hedshel (Incubus meets Faith No More/Mr Bungle), Headplate, Monkeynut, Relative Ash, Stoopi, 13 Days, Fence (album No Dumping came out in 96 a year before Limp Bizkit made music), Calm SWE (album are we supposed to be is super underground but unique and different and their follow up album is a mix between mathcore and nu metal), Vacant Stare, Chubfarm, Eastcide, Siop, D:FI (only released a 3 song EP in 2001 that's awesome one of the first nu-metal bands to have a drum and bass sound), Loopus, Jor, Five Foot Thick, Geek, Plastic Tongue, V-MOB to name some to get you started cause there's a lot more awesome and original bands other than the big bands like Korn, Linkin Park, SOAD, Limp Bizkit, P.O.D. and Slipknot
you should definitely check out “Life Sentence“ by Bite Down. Very underrated but they‘ve been smashing with their last releases. kind of thrown but make it deathcore.
bro why you dont make reaction about the new FUTURE PALACE album DISTORTION ??????? is a BIG ALBUM, and the singer work hard to put a best screams and also the band create a great BREAKDOWNS & RIFFS ?????? to be honest , FUTURE PALACE made an album BIGGER than > the new WSS, WageWare albums and more bands
The more I've listened to this album, the more it's grown on me. Production is great and I'm glad they've gone back to their nu metal roots.
I strayed from checking out the singles until the album released, very big surprise, definitely got Rhapsody Tapes vibes from this album
Finally a reaction of Ocean Grove. Absolute gem!
Amazing album!!!Also, fun fact, their drummer Sam Bassal produced new Thornhill single "nerv" :)
Crazyyyy
And the newest Void Of Vision record too
Last Dance is such a fucking vibe holy crap..

he also records the guitar parts! I got to have a chat to them on their listening parties for the album, all great dudes.
These and moodring keeping nu metal alive and i love it
The rhapsody tapes is a goated album, you should listen to it sometime
Got to see these open for Don Broco, so good live. great to see them releasing banger after banger. Hopefully next time they are back in the UK its for their own tour!
Album barely came out and it's already one of my most listened ones on spotify. Pure fun from start to end
Nu Metal is forever !!! 🤘
(This band is so underrated !!!)
Mix is incredible. Glad he also mixed Thornhill new song, sounds so full
I love this album but it's WAY too short.
I’m sick of these bands dropping 25 min albums
I’d say it doesn’t overstay its welcome. 14 songs like this would be an assault

it makes sense to have Poochy back on this album , so this band kicks again 🤘🏻🔥💿
I missed nu metal so much . Im keeping this band in my top 5
One of my favorite albums this year!
What a spooky opening, wow that gave me chills
Nu Metal is the best metal subgenre and it's not even remotely close. I will take this to my grave.
What a band.. what an album
I've heard one song by Ocean Grove before going into this album, I need to listen to the other stuff. I haven't had this much fun since the Das Album stream lmao. Also W stream, so many bangers that day.
definitely check out their album Flip Phone Fantasy….Its all the things that this album has, but with a summer vibe to it…..you’ll absolutely love it
This album gives me vibes of Tetrarch which I respect. I love this style and I hope it blows up again!
ocean grove is seriously underrated, everything they put out is exceptional (and fun lol)
I can't stop listening to this album, absolutely incredible
amazing album, banger after banger! 🔥 what a surprise
Didnt know Ocean Grove was dropping a album
Thanks for the Upload 🚀
I love this band ❤ God bless Australia 🇭🇲🙏
It’s really genuine sounding cause they’ve been doing this for aaaaages. Since 2016 they’ve had this modern nu-metal flair
This feels even better than their first record 😮
This was so fun. So funky. So needed.
This album feels great to have in 2024 going into 2025. Very POD / Koran vibes, but then others like Il Nino and Spineshank, it’s such a good album, miss this sound
I love ocean grove!!! They have such a great sound!

This album makes up for that for me.
I’d have frothed for this at 15yo
Saw their first uk show! My friend was in a band who opened for them in Nottingham
Vibe achieved
Every album I think they can't get any better, that they have reached their peak... then I keep getting surprised.
Found this band because I am from a town in Australia called ocean grove which the band was named after
Where are my music producers? I've never heard a sound with so much kick side-chain compression but it completely works!
I liked their last album better but this was still solid af, good to see the old OG boys are back in the band too, very interested to see what they have next
Didn't know them until now. They are fucking awesome :D
I was talking to the guys, don't worry it's short, more to come sooner than later :)
This album is really fucking good though, surpassed Up In The Air Forever :D
I think I like Flip Phone Fantasy more though and ofc Rhapsody
They go off live, was so suprised how tight they are on stage
This took me 20 yrs back in all the best ways with my JNCOs and my unskippable Sony Discman 😂 Great late yr release (I'm turning 39 next week)
they're sooo underrated, but I feel that some day they'll be on the spotlight...
Oh yes, Ocean Groove is off the charts! 🤸🏻
will you someday this year check out the Dregg album? you gonna love it Bogdan
You were born the year i graduated high school. Damn i feel old.
I love this album 🤘

I'm very much liking how unapologetic bands are getting.
They're like "yeah, this is our lane, fuck it"
Underrated band, definitely gotta listen to flip phone fantasy!
Yeah this goes HARD.
Am I the only one who thinks that this band was mainly heavily inspired by Celldweller?
my man just vibin 😁
you should definitely check out “Life Sentence“ by Bite Down. Very underrated but they‘ve been smashing with their last releases. kind of thrown but make it deathcore.
Bury Tomorrow just dropped a new single 🥵
Ocean Grove has been GOATED since the Black Label. They’re too good at their craft
Softer Moodring vibes
NU Metal is alive)
Fly Away WOULD be their best song ever to me but they repeat the chorus at the end. I was hoping for something more or a little different.
Something about OTP reminds me of Death Grips
This album is on repeat h24
remember kids, first there were Deftones, then there were Loathe and now....
Where’s the future palace album reaction
this is one of the best albums of the year by far, might be better than NEX GEN even
Why has nobody talked about the new DREGG album?
Does anyone else find then sidechain on some of these tracks very jarring?
LISTEN TO THE NEW MARCUS VIK SONG NAMED ARREST YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT
He has listened to it on stream yesterday.
@ oh niceee
AOTY
Is deftones the word you coulfnt say in the chat?😂 d
I mean... it's alright, lol. Nothing stands out.
It's great, but I hate when bands release albums under 30 minutes. Rip off
Looks like nothing special or outstanding for me, maybe riffs are to simple or no rollercoaster feeling during listening
bro
why you dont make reaction about the new FUTURE PALACE album DISTORTION
???????
is a BIG ALBUM, and the singer work hard to put a best screams

??????
to be honest , FUTURE PALACE made an album BIGGER than > the new WSS, WageWare albums and more bands
