I always do solo riding, your comments on the benefits of going alone were right on point! The alone time on the open road is kind of therapeutic I think.

Been a biker since I got my first bike, a Honda 350 scrambler when I was 16. Now, at 57, I still enjoy doing roadtrips alone. I enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Hi, I used to enjoy riding Honda CL -350 Scramblers. They were screamers. The other day I was trying to recall if their redline was 11,500 or 10,500 R.P.M. or not. Do you recall? I have not ridden one since 1970.
@@clutchpedalreturnsprg7710 I'm thinking 10,5. The one thing I recall vividly is the bike being a 350, but the the cyl jug was marked 325. Other than that, and having to tighten up the exhaust every ride, my memory is kinda fuzzy.most weir
@@jamieweirdworld Hi, thanks, never had the exhaust problem. The sad thing about the 350s was the ends of the camshafts were mounted directly to aluminum instead of brass/ bronze plain bearing bushings like the Hondas that preceded it such as the CB/CL 160s. I feel they would have been a more long-lived engine. Anyways, I sure liked riding the 350s.
Another great video! I am from the UK and would love love love to do that ride one day! Can we all just take a moment and appreciate how awesome Alexis is, offering to drive a 2 hour round trip to get your keys! What an angel!
That was a REALLY GOOD video. You're a pro. You showed good things that happened, bad things that happened, great scenery. I watch a lot of videos like yours about motorcycle trips made by quite a few different people on youtube and I really liked this one a lot. It looks like a very well put-together summary of your trip that was enjoyable to watch.
By far, one of the BEST videos I've seen in a long time. I really appreciate all the hard effort you put into these videos. Safe travels. Eric in Kissimmee.
That was very kind for that lady to give u a ride back to ur key fob. There are still good people out there. I did the same ride to Key West on a Road King…
Good for you, big bikes are comfortable and roomy. That unhurried putt putt of quiet rumbling joy. Everyone travels at different speeds and comfort. You go girl..
Wow! Fantastic vlog. It is amazing to see all the sights heading to the most southern point of the.US. Thanks for everything that you do. You are an inspiration. I started with a Kawasaki Vulcan S and have moved up to a Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic. Can’t wait for it to warm up in Milwaukee! Hi Doodle, I'd really like to see you traveling through all the States. As an italian i'd love to watch all the different States told by you in your funny, interesting, insipered way!
Another quality video, very inspiring. I've got a trip planned for May and your video has helped me anticipate a couple of issues (boots, oil). Looking forward to more of your adventures!
*SQUEAL* “She’s BACK!!!”...Ya made me cry (yes, again 😂)! In addition to the scenic roads, laughs and adventures with great friends and time with familia, I was so touched by all the good hearted people you met along the way! Thank you God for protecting Carolyn, getting her home safely and all the wonderful souls you put on her path 🙏♥️🙏. Thank you so much for this video, it was well worth the wait! (I’ve been on a social media fast since early January, was especially excited to see this today ♥️).
Carolyn, I love all of your content. With my ADD my attention span and interest level wavers quickly, but I find myself watching your entire videos. I'm also in a similar spot. I'm a relatively new rider, and I love to travel. I often find myself travelling alone, which I'm ok with, I enjoy it. I'm picking up tips, and spots to see from your content, so please keep up the great work. One 3400 mile trip in September, and a 2200 mile trip last month. (not on my YT channel, but on Tiktok). The commitment to film, edit, vlog, post, and keep content engaging is just too much for me :).
You are doing it right. A short " test ride" doesn't let you get to know the bike and if you like each other. I have a 12' Electra glide with a side car. My son and I love our road adventures. Sometimes we ride with a group of friends but for the most part it's just us. No timetables just a final destination, stopping where we want along the way with the mentality, we get there when we get there.
Hey Carolyn, Thanks for the enjoyable ride-along! Though I've been through Key West on a cruise ship with friends, I still want to do it on a motorcycle --- especially after seeing your journey. Ride safely. Glad you were able to recover the FOB (BTW, remember to get the emergency start code next time).
First time watching your video, way to go! I’m impressed with you riding that Harley. I’m old, crippled up and am a bit afraid to get a heavy bike but I am looking at the v star’s. It might happen. I have a Honda scooter right now, I have had many big touring bikes and I’m still a little wobbly stopping and balancing. After all it’s been more than 30 years since I’ve done 2 wheels. You inspire me.
Man this takes me back, was on holiday in Miami and drove to the keys back in 2006. Just 2 weeks ago I drove across a similar bridge as 7 mile bridge, going east from Lisbon, Portugal
LOVE what you said in the beginning of your video ma'am. Especially around the 1:30ish mark or so. And I agree with you on riding alone. I find it a bit therapeutic actually. It's calming. One of my favorite trips was from the Oregon coast to the Grand Canyon then to Vegas, San Francisco and back up the West coast to Portland. No hotels or anything. Sleeping under the stars. Many times I rode for miles without seeing another car and it was amazing!! Some day I recommend taking a trip up (or down) the west coast. The coastal highway and spend a night or two in the Redwoods. Really cool!!
I took my first big solo trip recently (in February on the East Coast of Australia). Absolutely loved it as I was able to change plans or stop any time I liked. Wish I had done it sooner. I was a bit envious of the Road King you were riding as I would love to have been able to lock all my gear in panniers (I only had a ventura bag on the back of my bike which made it hard to leave the bike unattended).
Beautiful video, Noodle. I really enjoyed it. Nice mention of Noraly at the end. Looking forward to your next video. Greetings from CAPE TOWN, South Africa.
I know how you feel, I was way loaded down on an 02 Fatboy and rode 3700 miles from Indiana to Key west, up east coast back to home. Best trip of my life. Hit the road any given day alone. It's the best trips ever. No one to deal with other than yourself ❤❤❤
I really enjoyed your video. I am a 61year old guy with a 2014 ultra limited in north Carolina going to take a couple of weeks 1st of April and ride solo to key west. I hope I enjoy it as much as it looked like you did. thanks again for the video

That was very cool sister, i had my girl loose her fob too, so don't feel bad, she set it on her running board on her BMW SUV.but lucky someone found it at her last stop to thank God, she was very far from home, I'm glad it all worked out and your trip was great. Looking forward to the next one, keep up the great work.
I'm with you on riding alone. I'm 64 and I am trying to slow down time as much as I can. Know what I mean? Life has flown by up to this point and time is so precious in my way of thinking. I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns and about a 45 min ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway. So now I go as slow as I want and see all the things I used to speed by. I have discovered a waterfall that I have ridden by for years, by slowing down and looking. It is a gorgeous site! Flows under a old railroad bridge and the water splashes over the rocks down the mountain side. It can only be seen in winter when all the leaves are off the trees! Love what you have turned your channel into! Ride and stay safe!
Great videos. Great seeing a young woman adventuring on her own. More power to ya, ride em all big little, to many bikes not enough time. Lol. Gotta love Florida humidity. I grew up in the keys. Thanks for the memories. Safe riding.
