I ordered this kit and was well pleased with it. The retainer was sturdier than I though it would be.I couldn't remove the old retainer but was able to install over the old one (removed the old seal). The seal is difficult to get in and it's good to have someone helping. I had no one but I tried something that helped make it tremendously easier. I sprayed vinyl conditioner (think Armour all) on a rag then applied it sparingly on the seal. Wow! It slid right on. It couldn't have been easier. My son came and held it while I screwed it on the door.
@@idontdogmail1669 I don’t mind paying shipping when ordering from small or family businesses. It’s the same as paying a bit more for a local business vs. big box- it’s a choice.
Will this work for me when my aluminum garage door exterior is so thin. Will the self tapping screws ends not show up on the other side of the garage door on the outside?
I feel like this video underestimates the struggle of this install. Getting the rubber seal into 16 feel of metal is HARD, you have to slide them on one at a time and sometimes the T comes out. I think the video doesn't really show they have a LONG table to help. I haven't even gotten to the install part and I'm assuming its going to take at least 3 people to hold this thing up while I drill it on. Not an easy install.

Thank you for you support and comment!
Came home from Lowe’s with a big rubber piece to discover I have exactly what’s shown here, so I’ll be returning that and ordering yours- thanks!
How'd you like the shipping rates? Talk about Bull $#!t - No thanks!

would be better if you put a link in the video to access your website
I've never done this before. What do I need to measure to make sure I get the right size?

What’s the largest gap it will fill? Do you have a 10’ length?
