Bei Bei the Baby Panda Struggles to Stay Awake for His Media Debut

- Bei Bei is the youngest giant panda cub at the National Zoo. He recently met with a small media contingent where he mostly slept but was cute nonetheless. He's one of four pandas at the Smithsonian's National Zoo, along with his mother, father and older sister. The zoo takes more of a hands-on approach with Bei Bei because his ability to reproduce is important to the survival of his species. He will make his public debut on Jan. 16.

I've been watching Bei Bei taken in China. At least now he's getting used to the life there but when he was new, poor Bei Bei! Now this I remember this. I can't recall how many times I watched it. Miss you Bei Bei!

Giant Pandas are NOT on the endangered list anymore. Mei is now 22 years old and nearing the end of her life. Make the latest cub the LAST. Give her some time to enjoy life. She's give you 4 or 5 money makers at the zoo. Give her some time to enjoy the end of her life. She shouldn't be a baby machine anymore under the guise of them being endangered. It's not truthful.
