I am 57 years old and have progressed to this longer stretch after a couple of weeks of the shorter ones. It's hard work but I impressed with how quickly my flexibility has improved. It has also also taken away my back pain - happy days ☺

This routine is AMAZING!! I practice yoga daily but have struggled with flexibility as I am strong and have tight contracted muscles. I can honestly say that 3 weeks of this routine has opened up my yoga practice immensely. Yoga poses that weren't accessible to me (due to inflexibility) have now become accessible :). I am beyond grateful for your videos

39:18 when Tom said to let your foot slide out a little further, get more towards a front split position:
Me to my hamstrings: "alright boys, you heard the man, allow that foot to slide out a little further"
*Foot remains exactly in the same position
Me to my hamstrings: "great work team"

Just getting into PNF stretching as I've been adding different types of stretching to my arsenal of stretching routines. Really enjoyed this. it did not seem like an hour! I can also split this into upper body after an an upperbody strength training and vice versa. Thank you for this awesome PNF follow along!

I keep returning to this one as the balance between strain and relaxation is just great.

    Thanks!

What is good with the channel is that it shows very feasible things and additionnally it gives the explanation of how to do them. So without stressing out you can do, stretch and relax. As you are able to keep doing you obtain progress. Some other videos where guys put handstand you watch say wow and return to those videos :)) Moreover I'm convinced that with the progress I will be able to progress to other moves. Happy new year!

This was nice. I do find some of your instruction in these older videos a bit vague and difficult to follow as a first timer; however I got through it and will do it at least a few more times to see if I get the hang of it better. Overall I liked the routine and really enjoyed that there was a lot of stretches in here that were different from my usual - that sleeper one was great for me, its a real area of weakness and the other movement I was doing to work on that was harder for me to get as much focus on that specific spot so that was great - I imagine I'll get better at that other stretch now lol.

So first things first, I've two weeks in and I do this routine 6 times a week. I've 100% seen an increase in flexibility and some daily pain I've been experiencing has gone away.
I do have a request though. Would you be able go make a new video without going in how to do the stretches? Just going from stretch to stretch. I plan on following this video for the next 6 months to a year and this could probably shave off 10-15 minutes which would be a huge benefit.
Thanks for the uploads regardless :)

Hi there Tom, thanks for sharing all these workouts for free. As a beginner in calisthenics, I find them very helpful. I have just downloaded your book "The Bodyweight Warrior ebook V3" and I have a question about the notation of exercises. It says "exercises grouped with the same letter are performed in a series rather than separately." Does it mean they are supersets? For example A1 A2 should be performed in sequence, with no rest? Best regards.

I'm really tight at the moment, in most of my body. And I want to get into a side split. But I don't only want to prioritize the muscles needed for this move. I want to improve my form in different gym exercises and improve my posture as well. Will this routine do all those things? Improve posture, squats and progress me closer to some of the more advanced moves like holding your ankle on toe touch and side splits, also improve my mma kicks? Or should I do something else? Planning on stretching 30-60min per day everyday for a long time. Will take progress pictures. I decided that this year I want to be able to do all the cool things I can't do atm.

He did a video on QL strengthening recently. I'd also look at some of his hip mobility videos. Many people with lower back pain have the root cause in a lack of hip mobility. If your hips don't move adequately your body compensates by making your lumbar spine flex more than it should which causes pain.
