They also came out with Hai Di Lao earrings (like lotus roots & chili peppers) and even lipsticks 😂

I love Haidilao ❤ When we went there on my dad and uncle’s birthday, the staff legit pulled out LED boards that say Happy Birthday and sang the song too 😂 The Noodle stretcher was amazing 🤩 I love his performance but the Sichuan hot pot was spicy 🌶 It burned my lips
Omg I love Haidilao! We went there over winter break to have a nice hot pot and the service was amazing. They gave us phone covers to charge our phone on the table while eating, hair ties to tie up our hair and the amazing candy at the end. Their food was sooo good and the sauces made everything better. My personal favorite there was the free ice cream that comes with the meal.😅 (I’m vegetarian so there weren’t many soup bases I could eat but omg I’m addicted to that place now)
I still have an apron I’m “borrowing” from Haidilao from when I used to live in china 😂, also always got to have one peanut based sauce and one herby oniony sauce for the variety!
your dipping sauce is like how my husband makes hi; he goes for it with all the different layers, and i always make mine simple and end up eating his. we love eating tofu skin and beef tongue in our hot pot, i feel like the tofu skin absorbs all the sauce the best 🙃

Hao Di Lao really has top-tier customer service. In Vietnam (HCMC) they even paint your nails for free while you wait for your table. Also there was a trend that if you put your hands out in a half heart shape the waiter will make a hand heart with you, sooo cute!!! Oh and the staff there are pretty handsome too 🫶
We have them here in the UK too! Def our friend groups fave place to go for hotpot (also usually one of the few places that have space for 15+ people). Sauce bar is still free here as far as I'm aware. Their service is also really good
I'd totally try your sauce without the cilantro! I have the soap gene sadly, so im not sure what cilantro actually tastes like, but in sure your sauce is great!
I remember I used to go there a lot when I used to live in china and they used to give free gel manicures on most days but on Sundays they would give free face massages and they also gave free toys to kids and sometimes they gave free 3d Bunny's made of yogurt :-)
