The coroner's inquiry into the deaths of five men who were in last year's Tanjong Pagar car crash heard that the white BMW M4 had hit speeds of up to 148kmh before the accident.

Jonathan Long Junwei, who was at the wheel, had a blood alcohol reading of 86mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, above the legal limit. Court correspondent Shaffiq Alkhatib, who is covering the inquiry, shares more details.

Those who choose to drink-drive show no regard for the safety of themselves and others.
Many sport's car drivers are very selfish. They speed and emit very loud noise. Very very noisy.
Even motorbikes the same, some deliberately made loud engines noise in the middle of the night
The lady friend and Korean restaurant guy who drove in 2 rounds of race are accessories to the tragedy. Lucky for them is that they were not in the car when it crashed. Very fortunately is that there are no one on the road at the time. Those perished can only blamed themselves.
Deserved it loh.... No need to feel sorry.... I pitied their loves ones.... Not the deceased.

148km/h is 2 times OVER the speed limit, it's 3 times the speed limit?
Speed limit is 50km/hr and if u crossed the 1st 50, it is 1 time.
If u crossed the 2nd 50, it is 2 times and if u crossed the 3rd 50, it is consider 3 times since it is over 148km/hr as reported.
