Bollox. I run hackintoshes from the beginning of their existence, starting with MacOS 9.2.2, on a Pentium. The hardware requirements for Sequoia are a Core2Quad with SSE4.1, a mobile Q9000/QX9300 on the 25 years old 478 socket will work, on it’s 2006 478MN or. socket T spec, a nVidia Tesla GPU, see GeForce 8400/9400GS, 8800/9800GTX+ or the GTX 280M being recommended, 4GB DDR1/8GB DDR2 or 8/16GB DDR3. So yes, I don’t think you need many specific components. Want a good experience? Go for an Alienware M18X from 2014, it has an i7-4790 and dual GeForce 880M (which are Kepler GPUs), install a SATA to dual NVMe, 16GB LPDDR3 and you’re all set.
Think it’s worth daily driving? Got a Ryzen 7 5700G, no GPU, 16GB RAM, and 500GB SSD. Tried installing macOS (no idea which version) like 8 months back, got it working but it felt super choppy, so I went back to Windows. Now I’m on Linux. You got any articles, tutorials, or anything useful on how to do this setup?
Hey it is actually great, but looking at your specs, you need a dedicated gpu if you have a ryzen card. since macos doesnt support ryzen, if you do think about getting a gpu, make sure you go with amd gpu’s and also check the opencore guide Sorry for the long message! Dont forget to subscribe!
@@DineshKartikCodes if i already paid 3k on my own pc might as well just dual boot it its not that hard. im not paying extra for a laptop just to plug it in to the same monitor and having to switch out the cables of my keyboard and mouse. :3

I built an open core EFI for getting it working for Lenovo L440, but it's pretty easy, change the SMBIOS and disable SIP (and it should work)
Bro your voice is very sweet
