The damper is just a basic motorcycle steering damper you can get off Amazon. I bought one and 3D printed the brackets for my TPR. Works great! Also I use the hook side of some Velcro attached to the bottom of my TPR's to hold them in place. Depending on the pile of your carpet it will hold the pedals just fine. Short pile is the best. Just put a pre order in for the winwing rudder, how long did it take to receive it? I picked up their Orion 2 Navy ace throttle and a vkb gladiator nxt Evo stick just hope i can receive the rudder faster
