- Phase one of this barn revival includes shoring up the failing concrete wall down below. Today we were supposed to pour footers, did it work?

It seems appropriate for that 1930s building that your videos are kind of like 1930s-1950s serial movies. "When we last saw our hero, he was jumping across the canyon on a Shetland Pony". Thanks for the entertainment, Captain, take care!
LOL…. Seems to be!
You have a great range of skills Mike very fun to watch !
The work is coming along good. You have way more energy than most of us. We can live through your work. The dog is waiting for a walk in the woods.
Really enjoyed the running commentary.
Nice job using the ICF you have works with your line “run what you brung. LOL
💪
Block heater might help if you have electric power. Keeps the block warm not ice cold. Just cut the bottom of the triangle to make the difference.
Great video Captain Kleeman
Thanks!
So after watching you now for however long it's been, I see myself in many ways (except firefighter) in your journey. The biggest change now, at 67, is, I'd just call the Amish to come fix it. 2 weeks and 30 Amish later....Done!! Great series Mike!!!
You must have slow Amish in your area. In my area it would be done in two days. There is nothing better the Amish when it comes to having them as neighbors and friends. I have 4 family's near me and all will come and help if I need something.
😂😂 you are probably not wrong. Amish work like they are on Crack... They don't ever stop
Thanks for watching!
Looks like the Captain is using some of his hard earned past experience with those blocks to stabilize the walls is coming along nicely.
It's going to be interesting watching the concrete pour.
I'm pretty sure it will go as planned given the Captain is a pretty handy individual.
Looking forward to seeing the pour.
Your videos are always good and enjoy every bit of it. You put a lot of thought into anything and everything you do. Thank you for sharing! 👍 😊
What a great mind you have!
Life's experiences can sometimes be the best tool to have, and you have plenty of them.
Interesting project . The design of the roof reminds of jiffy pop popcorn they sell…metal pan of popcorn you heat up on top of a stove burner top lol
hello Mike & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool thanks Mike friends Randy & Good Luck With The Barn Revival Randy
I am sure the cement company will set you up for a cold weather pour. As for a cap I know a guy 😉 that has some nice Indiana stone that was from a old church... Would look nice. As always keep up the good work. 👍
Wow this ICF SYSTEM IS VERY VERSATILE CANT BELIEVE WE DONT HAVE IT HERE IN AUSTRALIA 😢😢IS
CHEERS MIKE

ADELAIDE
Excellent start to the new year 👍 Thanks Mike 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
When i seen the title my first thought was the wall caved out while digging the footers !
Hi from the uk.😊
I particularly enjoy reading the "what you did wrong" comments followed by the "no I didn't" in the next video, This also applies to the Nya millenial channel.
Time schedules stink!....
But so it goes!
Carry on Capt'n.
Looking good there captain. No doubt it will work
Happy new year too
Looks great captain keep the videos coming and I laughed way harder then I should of on the crushed to death by 37 lbs of ICF joke.
A time lapse camera would be awesome for this project , just to slowly watch this building regain its shape is going to be very rewarding.
That would be cool
For those not familiar with the area Perry county has a high seismic activity area. shows on the Indiana map as being in the Seismic Earthquake Liquefaction Potential could explain the movement and cracking
First off, Happy New Year Captain! Looking forward to what you have to share with us these coming months.
Man, checking with a place to make sure they'll be open/available ahead of time and getting told "Sure we'll be here", getting your schedule and stuff all ready....only to find out the day of that nope, they are not in fact there....that's just the worst. You handled that a lot better than I woulda. Sure, swearing and complaining won't fix nothing, but it can certainly make you feel better verbally venting.
Another awesome video Captain.
Looking forward to future videos on this and the rest of your projects.
From kiwi land.
Hi taking it all in your stride, good man, no point in getting all worked up ( but it does help to let off steam occasionally, just don’t thump the walls not yet) all the best 👍🐝🌞
Capt good time management there 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Come on folks, like, comment, and subscribe if y'all haven't already, and ring that notification bell, it's obvious he needs a few extra dollars with the projects he's willing to take on.
Waiting for the next one.😊😅
Making it work with what you have. What I really enjoy about your videos.
Good afternoon Mike
I was hoping to see you Friday at dirt perfect and Officer Hoover DOT class. Sorry I missed you.
Rebar locks horizontally into the interior diagonal pattern supports of the ICF block. Once stacked vertical rebar is dropped down between the horizontal rebar grid.
👍
Thanks for the video, I usually learn something and always enjoy watching!
Thanks for watching!
Happy New Year Captain.
Happy New Year, hope this year is great for you. AZ
slick, reinforcing the structure to bring it back to being a safe and long lasting building
Getting closer
Thanks Mike! Happy New Year to you and your family. Interesting way to reinforce the walls. I look forward to your next steps. 😊
A new year an another new edition of the Klleman Kronciles, so good to see our local color commentator taking us along on his journey. You definitely need to get the structure secured before taking on additional tasks inside. You are doing a good job....keep it up.
Man you are getting alot of stuff done! Nice progress, can't wait to see the concrete go in!
We use build block in our area. I agree the strapping is time consuming. Nice job. Stay safe
Getting there Mike, LOOKING GOOD BROTHER,
it's coming along great, can't wait to see the pore 👏👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍

Another great video Captain, keep them coming.
Thanks, will do!
Love the video. I always look forward to them and I get a kick out of your projects, and this one is a great one.
Hay, Mike! Great to see the progress! Working in the mud is frustrating! (Saw the mud balls stuck to your shoes!) Have a good one! Lee
Makes the boots heavy for sure
I like it, looking forward to the pour. Thanks for the update young man.
Appreciate ya watching!
Good luck 🍀
Happy New Year Mike and your family 🎉🎉🎉
Happy new year!
Great video, love watching.
This is going to be an amazing video series and it’s a great way to kick off the new year.
Thank you sir!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Interesting and entertaining. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out, I’m sure it will be fine. Can’t help but mentioning that with the buttresses can’t help but envisioning some of the cathedrals in Europe with all the flying buttresses. Thinking where else would you find the new world headquarters but in the Derby Kleeman Cathedral. Wishing you and your family the best.
Thanks Tom
I would of never been able to accomplish what you did. I did thing that for some reason you wanted to just fill the holes with cement and go from there. Good thing you are in charge as it would of fell or just been knocked down cause of my ignorance. Keep on keeping on Kaptain. May the force be with you as it might of been said on Star Trek
💪
Ouch, you got me right in the nose. 🤣
I’m with ya so far Captain. I’m sure there’s gonna be some very interesting and informative content coming on this project for sure. 🐶
As I’ve said before your work ethic is so impressive on everything that you do.believe you made good progress with weather, time, material.great video as always.just continue on doing what your doing.looks good 👍👍👍😎😎😎
That building looks like a giant Hershey kiss. 😂
I can see it now, BREAKING NEWS: Local man, while trying to rebuild an old abandoned gymnasium, almost fell to his death today, falling in a four foot footer wall he had dug earlier. As if that wasn't tragic enough, we think, the thirty seven pound wall forms he was installing, nearly crushed the poor man to death. Still hanging on, the poor man gasps his last breath just before emergency crew members arrived. Fainting from the heat, the crew excavated him just before a mud slide came crashing in on him. Luckily, the worker was saved by the heroic responders, dragging him from a sure death, giving him a bottle of water and a slap on the face, saying, " did you have your safety crocks on,"
I kill me.
Great video man, sure love the commentary.
Lol
Cap’n, does one need a Pilots License to operate Flying Buttresses? (Asking for a friend…)
Happy New Year bud.
🤣 absolutely
Looking good! I enjoying taking nothing and turning it into something as well.
💪
One thing I’d definitely do is get that mildew/moss off the existing block to get better adhesive characteristics. Otherwise you’re headed in the right direction.
Happy New Year, Captain 😁
Your plan was destined to work, someone else decided it wouldn't work today 😬
Your explanations are concise, keep up the great work, Sir 👍🤓💪
Happy new year Captain and the crew. Looking like this is going to be a super project to get the world HQ operational 😀 I could also see a video for a 555 block heater too 🤣
Can't argue with the math. The pup is there 73% of the time. 😄
17:57 Pardon me. 😳
That's comical. 😂
Pretty cool way to save a locally historical building. Too many times, people just say out with the old and buy something new in its place. From equipment to buildings. Have a great day sir, and a happy new year to you and yours!
Thanks
Played ball there in the 80's
That ether help a lot
Thank you.
Happy New Year captain!! I hope you and your family had a great new year's eve!! Interesting build on this as I have never used that material before. Looking forward to your next video!! Thank you for bringing us along on your adventure Mike!!!!
Great video thanks Mike
Thanks!
Dp's catching up, his last installment was buying the farm that he's moving his stuff into, so he's catching up. Tell you what by the time you're finished that building won't be going anywhere. 👍 I for one can never understand why people just dump their pets, there is no excuse if you don't want it anymore hand it into a shelter.
🤠 Happy New Year
Good morning sunshine! Happy New Year! I really look forward to your videos. Much love from Henderson Ga USA
💪
It’s really great to watch a guy who knows what he’s doing 👍🏻
My only question (born of ignorance) is, why are you only doing 3 and why those 3?
If you explained it, I missed it. Sorry.
He's doing 4 total right now. Might be the 4 worse ones and you have the big door there are well that need added support.
4 total. I'll explain better on next video
LMAO! Nose candy. I choked on my lunch laughing at this. Thanks Captain. 😂
Looking great 👍 mike
Thanks!
Happy new year's Capt. work with whatcha got right Capt. ICF probably overkill for stabilization of Kleeman World HQ but its there, you familiar with it and you figured out Plan B. keep up the positivity Capt
💪
Hi, HI Captain, happy new year greetings to you and your family, fellow viewers, from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Great way to start the new year, new project 😊😊😊
💪
Good job
Here hoping the pour goes as planned Bud 👍👋🇨🇦
Me too!
Does that glow heater in intake not work , it did in first video of 555
My yanmar does after rebuilding engine
Happy new Year Captain. 😁
Is it safe to say the footings for the buttresses is wider, deeper and reinforce with steel? Is this fix engineered or Mike engineered?
Tickle for the algorithm
Happy New Year
Happy new year
I'd make something inside to pull the wall back in cuz if it isn't roofing can be right
Happy New Year ya'll!
Good morning
Hi Captain, just wondering how far away from your home is this property?
