Like how easy it is to service that Case, everything you need to get to in one place, for once it looks like engineers have been listening to operators. Your brother is definitely lucky to have a brother like you, willing to help out and who has a friend who owns some serious plant. Hope you and yours have a lovely Christmas.

Dodged a bullet? Push down a dead tree with another tree so you don't have to get close to the dead tree, that's called experience my man. 💪
I remember cleaning the mud out of the tracks of a D9 everyday during the winter so it wouldn't freeze. I was a 13 and used a spud bar. Man! that spud bar was heavy and the mud was thick, but, that was the price I paid to be taught how to run the dozer. Oh, and it had a hand crank start pony motor on it to start the diesel.. Fun times!!!
I've always wanted to try a hand crank pony motor.

The Case is a nicely designed piece of equipment. And joy did very well operating it. Did you ever get that rock out of the tracks?
That thing is a case mini dozer you can put a bucket on !!!! That thing has some awesome hydro power !!! And the steel tracks with cleets got the traction with the high drive !!! Nice work CPT. 👍👍👍👍

Question that I have had for a long time about the GMC dump truck, why don't DP install a master shutoff switch like the other equipment that you have? Would love to have a place like the hunting cabin property. I think it would be ideal for a home site.

Ok, I've read where you need to put at least 12" of material over a culvert but it seems like a lot of people that I've watched here on YT don't always put on that much. It looks like there's barely 6" on one end of the culvert you installed. My wife thinks it looks more like 12" to her and I'm not telling her any different 😂Sorry, couldn't help myself. Anyway, so what's the scoop on how much you really need to put over one?
If you use cheap culverts....we use double culverts and never have an issue. "Do it Cheap and you will do it twice"

Been running low at mulzers for awhile now. Everytime I’ve got recently (last couple weeks) they’ve been out or low on stuff. Said they had an issue with the lock and dam at Newburgh one time and recently an issue with locks at cannelton.

so danger cam died a noble death trying to acquire footage.
i really think even though pricey the 550 would make a great piece of equipment for someone getting going with a small excavating business, add in a min ex and you can tackle most smaller jobs

I feel your pain with the Gopro's. Bought a 10 to start my channel and had many times that it over heated and shut off, usually I was near enough to hear it but there were times that I didn't and my video just ends or totally missed events. Haven't used my 11 much but agree not much of an improvement. Will have to look into the DJI. Just watching the case run I am very impressed. Looked like you settled into it nicely.

No, that's for elevation systems. That blade is plenty heavy
