  • Most footballers don’t play for 25 seasons, let alone score a goal in each and every single one of them. However, Claudio Pizarro isn’t like most footballers. A legend at both Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen, his illustrious Bundesliga career includes innumerable records.
    He is Werder Bremen's all time record goal scorer with 151 out of 301 matches. The Bundesliga's oldest goal scorer at 40 years and 135 days. Pizarro scored in 20 consecutive Bundesliga seasons. But most importantly, Pizarro is loved by supporters at both Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich, despite the two clubs having quite a strong rivalry. The stuff of legends!

      How old are u? Because i remember correctly when claudio would miss a bunch of peruvian games because he would "injure himself" all the time right before a game. Or when he would go to peru he would always get caught drinking the night before at clubs. Always, and he would bring the young players with him to drink late nights. But he didnt do that in germany cuz he made the big bucks there.

    • @gigasmol
      @gigasmol 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@0piero01 come on man accusing players of faking injuries? Was his performance the same as when he played in Germany, no. Unfortunately in my opinion, Pizarro played the worst position an elite player can play when surrounded by below average players. Pizarro is a true striker, he’s not gonna build the play and finish it himself. Lewandowski has the same issue internationally so he tries to play more of an attacking mid and is not nearly as impressive.

    • @gigasmol
      @gigasmol 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@0piero01 as for the partying, the whole team partied. Including the coaches lol. They party to this day. It seems that people only cared when Pizarro partied. We have players that have pretty much thrown careers away from too much partying and we choose the one player that has succeed and choose him as an example? Sounds backwards

    Seems as if German football is somewhere in the back of everyone involved in football in England - especially at Copa90. Adding to the Ailton clip, the Grafite-Dzeko clip (where you somehow forgot to value the role of Misimovic appropriately?!?!?) and the "Wow, the DfB Pokal is actually a great competition, how come we never knew this???" surprise, this is the next instance of, well, false expectations due to being misinformed but suffering from the "thinking to be an expert in EVERYTHING football related"-version of the ever-present Dunning-Kruger Effect...
    In the Bundesliga and among its followers, Claudio "Pizza" Pizarro is certainly a legend, a hero, a role model and one of its best know players, and that counts over the now 58 years of Bundesliga competition. And he has that status for many reasons: his playing ability to start with, but also his seeming ability to play world class football at the two most opposite clubs of the league as well as his unbelivable ability to "play one more year, since the team is short on strikers" and then even scoring multiple goals at age 40+ all the while being one of those players that everybody likes or loves and nobody hates or dislikes (unless he scores against you, but even then...).
    The title of this video only makes sense to someone who does not know the Bundesliga but only sees Bayern, BVB or the odd other team in Champions League games.
    Come one Copa90 - is that you self-set standard or are you slowly but surely turning to yellow-press tactics and start to slowly disown the actual competency you have in bringing football knowledge, football fandom and solid journalism together to create an interesting yet meaningful product and service?

Hamburg and Bremen are two of Germany's mightiest and where they are now in stature is hard to look at. I had Bundesliga broadcasted on my local tv for 5 years and the commentary teams always mentioned Hamburg as the dinosaurs of the league because then they never been relegated. Werder were always a team i respected when i was a neutral to bundesliga, still do respect them. I heard Schalke dropped this year and part of me cant help but feel bad for them

      Success (the opposite of failure) is the status of having achieved and accomplished an aim or objective. Being successful means the achievement of desired visions and planned goals. ... The dictionary describes success as the following: “attaining wealth, prosperity and/or fame”. Personally i think and strongly believe that if any winning does not go along with the impact on people that winning itself does not equals to success. Therefore, the guy in this video is correct.
