Heerlijke family video! Prachtig je dochters in de velomobiel!
Dankje
Hi Jan, funny video and I wish you a Merry Christmas and lots of fun.
Thanks!! You to a great time with Christmas!!
Hi Jan, I am working on a similar design. Two led strips, one white, one red, both attached to either a thin strip of plastic or cardboard. Then slid into a white or opaque plastic water pipe. The idea is the whole tube will glow, and fittings for capping and securing to the bike are easy to get. I think just having them on and not blinking should be visible enough hopefully. If you are able to come up with a similar design, I would love to see a video on it.
Thanks for the idea!
Hoi Jan, leuke video. Leuk dat je dochters je ligfietspassie delen. Ik wens jullie en iedereen bij Velomobile World een goeje roetsj in het nieuwe jaar en de beste wensen voor 2024.
Super bedankt!! Ook voor jou de beste wensen!
Great fun way including your daughters in showing us your new ideas! Wonderful!
Thanks so much!
Thanks!! you to have a great time. We keep in touch!!
Hi Jan!!!
Funny video with your 2 marvelous daughters! Congratulations to you.
For the lights, the 2 systems are 👍!!!
The main thing is to be visible in ALL cases, during day (maybe more important) or night.
Have a great continuation and have a great end of year.
See you.
😉👍👍👍👌
Thanks, I have also the opinion to be seen is more important then to be fully legal. I drive on day time with these lights on.
@@VelomobileWorld thanks for your answer!😉👍 And you are extremely wise to act like that, for you and your Family, because Life has no price!!!
Have a fine Christmas Time, à good end of year, and see you with pleasure, as always! ☃️🎅
😉👍👍👍👌
stop lying

Hi, you should sell this ! It is very simple to add ! For personal reasons I will order one without the top spot lights but I want to be able to add it occasionally and this is perfect!
you can contact us. Have a great day!1
They are grown, its been 5 years since my visit, 💗 same age as my own... may Allah protect them ,
Thanks.
There is a light-fin (originally made by flevobike) which I have on my Orca. Not as high as your light-stick but very visible in dawn and at night.
I am not sure I ever see it. I will ask them.
Excellent 👍 merci.
Thanks
It's so nice to see you looking really happy with your daughters. And the detachable hotspot is a really cool idea. Surely, there will be people in Korea who would want it. I don't understand why it's illegal, but it's definitely very positive for safety.
The flashing light is illegal but I do drive with it and nobody cars
Super goed idee voor de zichtbaarheid!!
Dankje

Maybe you could put the light on a very flexible rod/spring?
Yes do you have experience
In france, white blinking lights are illegal, but nobody will stop you for that, because we all know that it makes more security
I am happy that people have common sense in France. I like to be seen
Another reason for blinking lights to be illegal is that they can cause epilepsy attacks in some people. (Enough people for this to be a rule.) This is a huge problem on the road. Just so you know.
I thought this was only for very fast blinking light
blinking lights should be for turn signals only. imagine what it would be like when the entire city of velomobiles has blinking lights. it wont make it easier to see, instead itll be chaotic and like driving into an enormous christmas tree
Until the entire city is full with velomobiles it takes a while. Also in some places like we have in romania it is better to attrackt a bit more attention.
This is why the different lights are different colors. A blinking yellow light should be possible to distinguish from a blinking white or red light. If that is too difficult, then I am not sure how it is possible for drivers to know what is a red, yellow, or green traffic light.
Wow why would the Hotspot be illegal ? I would think that it is a good thing that Law enforcement knows you are more visible in traffic ! I love my Hotspot on my Bulk and it helps a lot !
I belive its the flashing light that is -
It is the flashing light what is illigal
I have something like the solution on the Quest XS. I'm very happy with these higher flashing lights. The height of my wooden prototype is just 20 cm; in my opinion that is high enough. But I'm still looking for a real solution to replace my prototype.
This solution is to make sure that in EU size SUV you can see the velomobile also from close by
I think Germany is the only country in the world that has those stupid restrictions on bicycle lights. No blinking allowed since it could disturb our precious car drivers. For that reason I order all my bike lights from Dutch dealerships. But please do not tell anyone or I might get arrested.
Also in NL it is not allowed but.. in NL rules and practice. There is a gap between both and in RO the gap is even bigger
😁
.
Hi Jan , yes ist is illegal.....but the police do not care about it. And I wonder there is no § in germany which tells us how much distance is between the front light and the back light,,,,,,,,,;-))
Wel I had some discussions with some germans and they told me that you cannot do it. In my opinion I prefer to get a fine and keep driving with a flashing light
I think during the day it is ok, but at night you better switch to a steady light.
Hi Jan, the light on the snoek looks realy good... will you produce these? A switch between blinking and full light would be great then.
