Honestly this is the best tierlist by far. Those shows are monsters.
Im starting to think like this-
If I want to be perfect, I'll join the Blue Devils or Crown.
If I want to break new ground, I'll join the Bluecoats.
But for the real DCI experience, I'd rather join the BAC.

Honestly I would've put the Boston Crusaders in first
i’m all for appreciation towards corps that rank lower compared to a corps like bd or bac but i mean, bd 5?! i’m not even a bd fan but i personally think from a music standpoint it stands out. yes crown will always have an outrageous horn line but that doesn’t take away from bd deserving first. other than that ranking, i think this a great list. well done!
Their show this year just felt so closed off. I am not sure how else to describe it. I guess when I see a show that I think is really good I expect to see everything exposed and perfect like BAC did in Allentown, but the devil's show was just so hard to follow and I'm sure they did it flawlessly, but I'd rather be able to base that off of what I see not what I assume.

I totally agree I'd just replace cadets with troopers. I love the Cadets (RIP you will forever be in my heart), this show was just not my favorite of theirs, but troopers freakin BROUGHT IT. So badass.

1. Mandarins should have beat Boston and Cadets (Boston = Ocean Gate Sub Pt. 2)
2. I understand how BD won, but Bloo was closer than you think
3. I love that BD still look like BD unlike all these other corps costume changes
4. I never liked Cadets shows (post Hopkins) they are still trying to find their identity
5. I rather see Spirit of Atlanta in finals than BK or Blue Stars
6. Colts and Troopers are holding on, they just need better programming
7. Phantom Regiment should have beat The Cadets
8. Mandarins will loose kids and staff to SCV return in 2024

We had 1 person from SCV in the entire corps and they were an ageout, and I don't think we'll be losing anyone to SCV's return. IMO Cadets beat us fair and square 😅

The Blue Devils sound good, but the drill is so easy. I don't get why the judges keep rewarding them for it.
their drill wasnt that easy. it was a lot harder than most other corps

I respect your opinion. I cannot disagree more with bluecoats 2023. Genuinely I believe that it is the worst DCI show of all time. I hate that show
such a tragic end for the cadets... and what a disappointing thme/production to end their ancient history with.. BORING A.F. (still very well executed however)
