I personally would've ranked the Coats '17 hit lower, and I also would ranked the big first hit in Felliniesque, where all the brass are lined up at the front higher than a lot of these

I think I've mentioned this before, but the Cadets' 2000 "We are the Future" show has one of the best hits I have ever seen in DCI. Its around the end when they are all in a line. Also the best use of a half time march ive seen too.

Bluecoats 2015 opener should be on this list.

I was into DCI back in the late 70's and early 80's. There was nothing like Spirit of Atlanta letting loose with Georgia on my Mind, or Madison Scouts with Malaguena. Then something happened to Drum Corps. Amps showed up on the field. Corps got smaller, and too theatrical. I went a few times in recent years and didn't even recognize it. Carolina Crown still sounds amazing, but I feel DCI has lost its way and gone too woke. If I want to see Broadway, I'll go to New York. Stop with all the theatrics and just get out there and push me back into my seat with a wall of sound. Please.

2012 is my #1, insane drill, insane book, percussion fit in so well (not saying they're clean) and the guard ATE. Should've won 2009, 2012, 2015, 2016 silver, 2017 silver, 2018 was mid, 2019 was gold but executed wrong, 23 is INCREDIBLY underrated, the show theme was put on well but not the best execution (still an insane brass book) and 24 was just that damn closer and the hs level drill
