Hello, I'm Burak. I've been playing games for as long as I can remember. In high school, I discovered the Persona series, which made me fall in love with games. Ever since, I've always had the idea of creating my own game in my head. However, back then, I didn't have the means to make it a reality, so it remained just a dream. When I started university, I decided it was time to dive into game development. I checked out some game jams on Itch.io and found one organized by at0m, a well-known TH-camr and game developer in Turkey. It was called MagaraJam, and I created my first game there. Even though I had no idea about game development, I managed to finish the game using a lot of if-else statements. Making a game for the first time felt incredible; seeing simple code turn into a playable game was magical. That was the moment I knew what I wanted to be in the future.
Music plays a huge role in my life. Listening to and analyzing music brings me immense joy. The first thing I bought with my own money was an SX electric guitar. Around that time, I was playing a game called Brutal Legend, and man, it was amazing-an entire universe filled with metal legends. I could feel the music in every part of the game, and that's when I noted down the name for my dream game: "Luthier."
Over the years, games like Hades and Moonlighter, which I enjoyed playing, significantly influenced the game design document for Luthier. I finally decided on what kind of game I wanted to create:
A game where we craft our own guitars,
Battle monsters in dungeons to gather materials,
Earn money by selling both the materials we collect and the guitars we make,
Featuring a fast-paced and enjoyable combat system.
Since I was working at the time, I could only spend weekends on Luthier. But recently, I lost my job, so I decided to dedicate all my time to Luthier.
So, join me on the journey of Luthier.
    See you next time.
