I know this damper is a pretty easy intall, but hopefully you find this video helpful if your installing one of these. If anyone has been using one of these, I would love to hear about your experiences with it. ***Don't forget to reference your owners manual for all applicable torque specifications***
you all prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Aarav Zaid I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I had one on my 2014 FZ09 and getting one delivered today for my 2019 MT09. These things work like a charm and there's no need to go with the expensive Ohlins or any of the other $500 brands. On the hardest setting, it's rather stiff so the oil inside is good enough. On hard acceleration for both the 1st and 2nd gen 09's, they head shake hard and that's mainly due to the rear shock. This damper plus the rear shock from a 2005 ZX6r makes the bike a whole new machine
Curious on your thoughts how the rear shock contributes to the headshake? I'm adding a damper but if the root of this is the rear shock then this is a band aid
Great simple explaining make everything look easy.. Unlike other people that take 30 minutes on a video and make everything look imposible to install on your own.
I have a 2021 xsr900, and I put a CalSci windshield on it. I think this would be another majorly essential mod. Accelerating hard past 80 or so, there's a lot of head shake. I don't think you could get anywhere near top speed without one.
Great informative video 👍 I'm in two minds wether to fit one of these fxcnc dampers to my mt09, it only has occasionally wobbled under hard acceleration on a bumpy road, did yours control the flighty front end?
I felt a difference at highway speeds. And since this bike gets light on the front when accelerating hard I have also noticed an improvement there as well.
Hi, I just installed this on my Mt 09 2018 model and followed your instructions but on the softest setting while driving, I feel the handling of the bike is stiff, is there something I am do to fix this?
Not so much every day now. But every-time I go for a ride I make it a point to spend like 10-20 minutes practicing. I'm getting more consistent with my clutch ups and riding them out longer. still scary as hell every time though. Been also messing around with power wheelies but those scare me more than clutch ups at this point.
I've got one similar to this. The bolts are made of cheese. I can't get it out now so have to remove the whole unit. What are the measurements of the bolts? The one clamping the cylinder into place looks like M6?
On mine, the black plastic piece touches the bottom of the damper bracket when its installed. They don't rub at all though because both pieces stay stationary, even when turning the handle bars.
@@lksbff thank you, in a week I'll take my first ride with this thing on my bike :) So, I'll test it myself :) I ride in the city most of the time, so I never really going faster than 120 km\h
Honestly, just get them tight. I've never used a torque wrench on a bike outside of the valve adjustments and clutch spring bolts. Blue loctite and get them snug good and it's solid
Get the 2018 SP and have the Puig touring windshield for much improved aerodynamics fitted. Pro-adjusted suspension (to your weight) as well as S22 tyres are beneficial. For race track speeds wearing custom-fit full leathers as well as a full-face helmet such as the AGV Pista RR ensure absolute stability. No steering damper required…
Same here..both good and bad. so far I've had no issues with it. They did send me a wrong bracket when I first ordered it and sent out a new one pretty quick no questions. I plan on upgrading it in the future but for now I guess this one will do.

@Aarav Zaid It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass!
@Malakai Riley No problem :D

damper is a must have on the mt09 light bike also it is good on any bike no death wobbles
Thanks for video man! Helped me out when I installed mine this evening. Absolutely the best mod I've done to my MT09 to date.
What was the torques for the removed bolts? Does it help a lot?
Crazy helpful! gonna order my kit soon! Pointing with the little punch helped me get the jist.
Hey man, i stripped one of the black factory bolt on the side, do u know where i could find another one?
Really enjoy your videos

I also have. 2021 xsr900! Did you have to cut anything to install this style damper? Might have to pick one up 😊
What was the torques for the removed bolts? And install
What is the quality of this damper? I see its about 1/4 the cost of well known manufacturers.
Torque spec on bolts? and do you use any locktite on the threads on the bolts?
It's been awhile since you posted this. How is it holding up? Any issues?
Why don’t you do both the one under the handle bars aswell? Wouldn’t that reduce more wobble and make better stability
Wish I had known about this when I had my MT09
Do you have a follow up on the stabilizer. Is this thing still working after years ?
Thanks sa info.. Mt09 family
If you still check this what click do you have yours set too?
thanks for your help.great vid!
I see a ram ball mount, how well does your phone mount fit with it
Great informative video 👍

Will this work for 2016 xsr900 . The small fairing you removed is different on xsr
I have a 2020 mt09 crazy wobble after 115 going faster. I wonder if a dampener would control this?
I'm going to have to see if they make something like this for my Ninja.
I was browsing for steering dampers for the R3 a few days ago and I did run across some for the newer Ninja 300's.
Sir, can you share with me the manual? I lost mine. And your damper is exactly the same model as mine. 😅
Tnx man... Gonna install mine soon 🤗
Dude this can fit also to mt 03 2020?
Hey, how are the wheelies going? Saw your video about learning how to do it, have you kept practicing each day?

Do you get any clearance issues when mounting back that tank black fairing piece, like when turning/full-lock?
On mine, the black plastic piece touches the bottom of the damper bracket when its installed. They don't rub at all though because both pieces stay stationary, even when turning the handle bars.
@@julietechosierra Great, thanks for the feedback!
Hello! Is it MRA smoke wind screen? Are you happy with it? :)

I need to buy that 3rd tool but i can't understand the size or description of that torque bit, please write it here, thanks.
T50 Security Torx Bit
what is the tightening torque specs?

anyone know if this piece holds up? I dont want to spend $550....
Yo im tryna figure that out too did u ever find out?
You said you plan on upgrading. May I ask, to what?
Possibly looking at the GPR V4 stabilizer
@@julietechosierra how come? Do you think if I run my bike pretty hard I should just get the GPR V4?
@@julietechosierra why?
because of the look?

I heard bad things about that company. Idk tho
