    Take a dryer sheet rub that on what you dont want the dust to stick to, if you press the sheet on it leaves a film lightly polish it off the dust won't stick.

      I called I dust but it's actually pollen from the mesquite tree in my front yard. I wonder if it would work for that? I'll just have to try it.

      Yes sir...but wait, there's new info. Someone commented that it's actually original, so I looked and found several pictures and they look just like mine. They're even asymmetrical like mine. I thought it was a couple of farmers with a torch saying "hold my beer" but it was a couple guys at the Suzuki factory saying "hold my beer" lol.

      Yeah my tripod is just a basic one for holding binoculars while hunting. I just kinda rigged it to hold a cell phone. The gimbals, when powered up, have gyros or something that keeps them steady when moving around.

    You’re doing good. I would have been so frustrated with the wrinkled wrap.
    Bold move to fly the drone indoors. I would dare do that!
    I have a different drone but with a gimbal. It shoots good videos that would be even better if the user was more skilled. I need more training flying it but can’t find an empty field.

    • @FixLife119

      I feel ya. I fly mine so infrequently that I can never remember what controls do what. Luckily it'll just sit there if you don't do anything. DJI has some incredible drones, and I haven't even played with any newer ones. I've had 3 or 4 but the one I showed is my newest one from 2018 and even before then they were insane. China makes em. China can make really good sh!t when they want to. Makes me wonder what their military drones are capable of! Unfortunately they keep making it harder to be legal here. All these youtuber that are monetized and using drones prob aren't legal. If you use the footage for any type of work or profit you need the full blown license that's literally like a private pilots license but without the flying part. Recently I heard they made it a requirement that your drone has to have a remote ID, which from my understanding is basically a frieking transponder. So older ones like mine don't cut it, supposedly you can upgrade older ones to comply but I haven't even looked into it. At this point it really only makes sense to get a sub 250 gram drone so you don't have to worry about it, unless you're doing it for a living. They are only like $600. I think I paid $1,400 for mine with the "fly more" kit that comes with another battery and a bunch of cheapy extras. After it showed up I decided it woulda been smarter to just buy an extra battery. When I start making money again I'd like to get one of the little ones. Plus they can fly for like 35 minutes on a battery and they are much much quieter. The heavier they are the louder they are, even with the stealth blades.

      If you fly a larger drone under the hight limit far from any restricted area filming your car while driving it - who is going to know what drone you used?
      No one is.
      It’s like the HAM vs GMRS radios. HAM requires a license, GMRS doesn’t. If someone use a HAM radio to communicate between two cars, who’s is going to know what specific radio was used? No one is.
      If any sheriff would try to get the culprits they are long gone when the law arrives to the spot of the “crime”.
      Fly your drone at will. Just stay away from military installations, airports, private housing, populated areas and no one will ever know unless you tell them.

    • @FixLife119
      @FixLife119  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BorisEkner Yeah, that's true. I'm sure that's why they are requiring that remote ID, so they can identify you just from a blip on a screen. Back when I first got drones you just needed a number (the FAA would provide) on all your drones so if there was an incident they could trace it back to you. The thing I don't know is how it transmits data. I always thought it was through the cell phone connected cuz that's how you do updates. I always fly with an old phone with no SIM in airplane mode. But then you hear stories about how China has all the footage that been recorded from their drones. I don't think that's true but maybe the drone itself has some way of transmitting when it's powered up. Ahhh, the good and bad of technology.

    • @BorisEkner
      @BorisEkner 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I fly my drone in airplane mode too. For privacy reasons.
      We don’t need drones to transfer our data, our cellphones does it.
      My wife had a conversation with a fried about Cartier jewelry she wished she could afford. 48 hours later the Facebook feed of my wife and her friend was full of ads for Cartier. Google for apartments for rent and the same will happen.
      Fly your drone where there are no people, no houses, no government installations, no airport, and no one will ever know you did it.

    • @FixLife119
      @FixLife119  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BorisEkner Oh yeah. Our devices are always listening. There are server farms in the middle of nowhere with petabytes of our phone calls, texts, and I believe it even saves our conversations while just sitting there idle. Even a phone without a SIM sent a bunch of info to Google when they were testing this exact thing. We traded privacy for convenience a long time ago unfortunately.

    Like the ideas you have mate and the way you approach it. How far do u plan ahead with your vision of what you want the Samurai to look like? I'm going thru a change of mind on a few things lately as I plan out stuff. Also what size are those rims and tyres ? Looking great btw every EP

    • @FixLife119
      @FixLife119  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey thanks Andre! Honestly I'm pretty bad at planning ahead. I think the only thing I really planned for was the wrap because I had to pick the wrap. Other than that I usually kinda play it by ear and let it evolve as I'm doing it. I had planned to paint everything I couldn't wrap black but after experimenting with the Harbor Freight bed liner it looked good next to the wrap so I did everything with that and it turned out better than I thought it would. The rims are 15", not sure the width but it has 235/75R15 tires. I'm scouting Craigslist for a nice used set in that size as mine are older and don't feel great when driving it.
