Excellent video! The only bad thing about changing the controllers is that if another person uses them they will be confused. Either warn them or go back to reset, I guess
@@silver-tongued_devil yeah, I've been out of the VR game for a while, just got a Quest 3 and the controllers are my biggest gripe, NEED to grab some covers for them.
@@JustKevH While I do rate the protube cups and the knuckle straps you can get for them, thats more because of the fact that I have a protube. I've always had great products from AMVR in that regard.
@@silver-tongued_devil after trying out the makeshift knuckle strap technique I just have to report I don't find it useable at all, it often jams the grip button down wich is just not good. I liked the idea but I'll just need to hold off until I can buy some this weekend.
@@JustKevH Have you tried making them nice and tight with the toggle? I used it for about 2 weeks and although uncomfortable they did the job. Tbf most of the games I play you grip and hold, and rarely have to let go.
That is one of the free downloadable backgrounds. The futurist city scape/cyber punk one. The name escapes me right now. Its all under the personilization tab in the settings 😁
Another tips for Quest 3. Do not use IKEA batteries or rechargeable batteries that have too snug fit, I did so with IKEAS white 1.2V 2450mAh batteries and it look like they pushes hard on the plus (+) pin, when I later put in a Duracell 1.5V battery it did not work, no contact at all, so for now only the slightly longer IKEA batteries work for me, and even my headset is under a year old and I live in Sweden the store did not want to put this on the warrant/guarantee.
Love the film references with this vid - thanks :)
Most welcome dude, I can usually find something from my colourful film/series history to fit the bill 😁
Yeah the clockwork orange was a screenshot worthy snippet lol
@@dtrueg Isn't it just 🤣
very useful thanx a lot!
Most welcome! 😁

Thanks dude, and yeah, this is why we should be able to set controller profiles to individual games. We can but hope 😁
Didn't realise you can re-map the buttons, nice one!
Yeah, shame it doesnt have profiles for different games like the consoles do 😢
Those makeshift knuckle straps are awesome, will tide me over til i can buy some! Thanks
They definitely do the job. I can't really play without knuckle straps now, so always a good temporary solution 😁

Getting those VR legs up and running is important. What game did it for you?
Until you fall for me, great game, great work out, and all the options you need for VR leg training 😁
Thanks! This helped me a lot!
Most welcome dude, very happy to help! 😁
Where did you get that background 1:07?

@@silver-tongued_devil thanks!
You forgot the sub button 😂
That ones self explanatory 😁
How does this help with archery?
An excellent question. I do everything in the video, which allows me to shoot an arrow straight (every now and again 🤣)

No IKEA batteries, check. I have found 1.5v rechargables hard to come by sometimes. They seem to be present on Amazon again now though 😁
