It would've been cool if this was the Stormterror's Lair of Inazuma. Liyue doesn't have one too. I mean an area where fighting monsters doesn't play any battle theme.
Listening to this after clearing all Tsurumi's quest is simply asking for punishment because the feels of Ruu genuinely didn't know what the islander doing are inhumane, he knew that his friend already... god I don't know if our actions are right or wrong anymore...
i just noticed something interesting while exploring tsurumi island, there were these hydro slimes who are like entrapped in their “cage” and there are few samachurls/hilichurls/abyss mage surrounding it which kinda looks like they are sacrificing it and doing a ritual. mihoyo was basically foreshadowing the story of Ruu through the mobs, the sacrifice & the ritual. that was a pretty good touch from them :/
Possible new artifact screaming more lore? Checked, missing some information from Venti's (supposedly cause bards made for him in a sense)set? Aaargh... We have yet to reach the lower iceberg of Genshin lore folks, we're barely scratching it -_-;
After completion of the story still listening this theme and this remind me of the poor unfortunate child Ruu, even he don't know that he was killed for sacrifice by the tribe. This shock me every time that from 1st day in that mission those people I met and thought "thank god, this land is not forsaken and I'm not lonely here" they were eventually dead OMG. With that child Ruu too. History was repeated continuesly there. Deja Vu! Mihoyo really knows how to touch heart by music and story.
Made me remember the time when I was 10 years old and playing that PS2 game called Okami. Nostalgia hits me hard each time I'm getting to Tsurumi Island from now on :,)
I think this song captures the solitude and loneliness in Kapatcir's heart, way before she met Ruu, when she regarded humans and animals as a worthless beings.
And the whole soundtrack is sound like someone's sadness because he/she feel lonely. I don't know, I haven't reached Inazuma yet so please don't judge me :(
I think this is the same traditional Japanese woodwind instrument used in Genshin's official Inazuma live symphony performance : Realm of Tranquil Eternity.
the start sounds familiar, maybe from another game, but it gave me similiar vibes. it's probably something in roblox pokemon from like 2 years ago haha
this is my fav ost of the whole island, it's just so beautiful, the instruments speak of an underlying sadness

I agree love this song
The flute-like instrument sounds as if someone is playing but trying really hard not to sob. Adds a very nice immersive experience to the song. :)
I think it's shakuhachi but idk tho
it may a flute de pan
The flute in this theme always makes me chills

In case you're curious about the title of this song, it's titled "sorrows of strays"
Thundering Fury's (Artifacts) lore fits perfectly about what happened to Ruu and its tribe.
I think it is about the lore of this island
@@Yuyukobeat Yeah it is a little sad that we get to see the lore, but only the story part, like a life narration of the thundering fury lore : c

This BGM is so beautiful ! Tsurumi story hit me hard... I love the sound of the flute, it gives me chills.
One of the best track. Extended cut is also amazing.

if Naruto has sadness and sorrow, Genshin have this, same meaning, sad and lonely
Genshin Impact stories are so dark
Why am i cry
Outstanding music, I love it!

Glad im not the only one lmao
I swear the first time i heard this theme i went "MINECRAFT???"
seriously I love this theme ty
It is just me or 1:11 sound like the flute is snivelling?

I think it's not just "the whole soundtrack", it's "the whole island"
I’d love to know what key this flute is so I can learn to play this. It’s very soothing, while simultaneously melancholic and sad
