So glad the dealer did the right thing and picked up your tow and repair charges. Everything sounds exciting Alexandria with the plans you've made for your new build. Hope Terra is doing well too, and when the time comes for your Dad's surgery I hope it's successful and he heals quickly. Take good care of yourself in the meantime and remember, you don't have to do it all in one day. Be well.
i really admire your ability to shift to new directions and maintain your balance. i like ur new rig and look forward to its evolution. i hope you come up with a better name than ambulance. i'll be sending lotsa energy to your dad, you, and your fam. keep collecting those new experiences gurl, you're on a good roll.
I love your plan to work on your build out by a lake. Brilliant! And I'm so glad the business that sold you the ambulance responded so generously. Seeing you stuck beside the road made me feel so bad for you. It's like every buyer's nightmare.
So EXCITED that the dealer took care of you. Is nice to find honorable businesses. Integrity is not often found anymore. Have fun as you start tearing into this new build. 😁
Good to hear you got the ambulance fixed & enjoyed an outing in it at the expo...looking forward to the build...health & healing for your family ❤ Bonnie
No lie, you're the only reason I'm thinking about getting a Bluetti instead of buying another Jackery. I'm glad the dealer in Westminster took care of you and I remain amazed at the way you're able to pivot. I can't wait to see the ambulance build but know that everything will happen in its time. Best wishes to your dad as he faces his surgery and recovery!
I'm glad you listened to me & checked it out! LOL. The wire harness were sometimes an issue, also the CPS, [camshaft position sensor], I carry one & 8mm wrench & did change one once on a camping trip. Those were '97 power strokes. We have 2- 2000s now. Always keep clean oil/filter & air filters, those are the main things & fuel filter. There are some short small hoses up on the 'valley' to the high pressure oil pump that get old. I carry some little hose clamps, had to do that once also. Thanks for the videos!
You don't see many ambulance conversions. Seems like an ideal platform. I'll be excited to see what you do, and especially doing everything with Bluetti. I'm contemplating doing the same thing but with my house.
hope your dad is going to be ok. please keep us updated when/if you can and feel comfortable. i'm REALLY looking forward to the ambo build as i've been wanting an ambo for the past year or so.
Wow! You truly deserve all the success in your life's endeavours! I hope things go well for your father! I will be watching your channel with great enthusiasm from here in the UK!
It seems to me that you quite frequently change your rigs after very complicated and time consuming builds. I'm beginning to wonder if (besides the camping) you just enjoy building these rigs. Maybe you should just build rigs!!!
Can't wait to see what you will do for the ambo! Sounds like a winner when you are taking a break or end of the day work on the ambo, to dive into the water on a hot day! And campfire nights too!
Your rig is prepared to take the weight of your wood I’m surprised you want to lighten it and trouble yourself by removing it all but anyways solid rig cabin build layout for you & Terra much healthier room and space to move around in sounds like. You’ve found your tiny home on wheels 🎉❤😊
Hi from Queensland, Australia Alex. I am so glad you got your new wheels sorted out, and good on the dealer for covering your expenses. I can’t wait to see what you do with it.😊
The 1800P Bluetti is a workhorse. I really like your ambulance, especially the wood. A spray bottle of H20 and a fan may help keep you cool. What do you think? I'm glad to hear you broke even on the breakdown cost. All the best. I hope you get to spend time with both of your parents and your dad's surgery goes well. You are very organized, so I'm sure you'll make it through all the activities headed your way. Hugs, and hang in there.
So glad you are back on the road. Great times ahead in one of the best RV platforms. Look forward to what you find at Overland Expo that you will fit into your new wheels. Like your story line, and you content is top notch. You've are nicely handling all your activities. Is it too early to ask what you are thinking as to your M.S. thesis topic? Thanks for sharing.
🤔 I think I just met your sister…… on a bicycle….. wearing a blue uniform. She looks a lot like you She rode by and stopped and talked to me. I had my van door open was editing a video for Sunday ….. She just came up and started conversation with me and we talked for 5 or 10 minutes. She seems really cool. 😎👍 After she left, I thought about it and went wait a minute that’s your sister 🤔 Maybe I’m wrong …. And maybe I’ll see her again and ask her. Hope your ambulance is doing good …. Can’t wait to see your next video. 9-7-24(just for reference)
Love your channel and looking forward to following the next phase in your adventures! As a local with a friend moving out here, just wondering if you might want a subletter while you're in California?
So, what you didn't talk about at all were the missing lugs on your left rear tire and driveline sort of laying on the ground. I wonder if you rear end is still good. Also, I'm just over the hill if you plan to do any work on the inside of your new rig and would like some help.
they had to remove the driveshaft to tow the rig, which is why it was on the ground :) thankfully there was no damage to the threads when the lugs came off, so it was just a matter of getting it back on the wheel properly and adequate torque.
Happy that you're happy. I have a quick question about Tera. You had said you were getting off road for school and Terra's health. How is she doing and may I ask what was her "condition"
What are going to name your rig? May I suggest Lance? You could call it Ambu instead, but it would require a lot more explaining every time someone asked you. 😃
So I’m so confused about power stations. Should many videos seem to talk about items that I’m not interested in. Do you think the ac180 would be great for a max air fan, dometic fridge, interior lights , phone charges for a long weekend in the woods?
Depends on the wattage of your fridge, and whether or not you'd have the capacity to solar charge it. Also whether or not you plan to run the fan near continuously, or just occasionally. You should try some back of the envelope math to see how much power your fridge will require over 24 hours. I think our phones pull 10 W/h on ours and probably same with the fan.
I have been watching you a lot and lately I think The content has been very strange maybe even bizarre! I am sorry but that is just my opinion.I am not understanding how All you people really make it. I know I worked hard in life and All this content and others just seems that they never work And count on us to fill there bank accounts. Again sorry it’s not just you it’s a lot of this nomadic people.
Many people are happy to pay someone else that gives them the opportunity to live somewhat vicariously thru their adventures which they cannot, for one reason or another, achieve. Lots of people cannot get around anymore. Etc. I have too much to do but I've sent some money to u-tubers because it was worth it to me to have learned things from them or got ideas of possibilities. Definitely learned a lot of what NOT to do also.

my favorite sighting!
What is your master’s in?
Hey beautiful
Didn’t you just rent an apartment? Just a bit confused I guess.
I did! I will need a place to live while building, since my parents live on the road now :)
what field is your degree going to be in?
I am getting my Masters in the Outdoor Economy! Focusing on sustainable business management and DEI in the outdoor industry.
