yea i dunno...I got the Arctis 7x coming from arctis 3's. Steel series have comfort thats hard to match. but 250...mmm thats a wad for headphones. might just add their gamedac to my 7x wireless n go over to wired. sold the series x and built a PC so no need for long range cords now. wired is an option for me now.
I got the pro + game dac wired. I like a cleaner setup but wasn't spending 350 and my Bluetooth on my pc is out right now so I have a controller cord also. Lol

Just picked mine up for $140 minus shipping. I've got an HS80 which sounds decent and the mic quality is great. But the HS80 functions are annoying, like the hold/off power option. This is my first video i've seen on your channel. I like what you've got going on. Keep at it!

It all depends on the Hires quality.. if it’s bringing sound quality to the music compared to other headphones, it’s a yes.. I am curious how it sounds in comparison to Audeze Mobius

Not nearly as good as the mobius/penrose , but you can use the gamedac for any headphones with an adapter.
Owning this headset was a nightmare like 3 years ago. So many bugs on PC. The headset would run in 5.1 and not stereo for one. The sound was so lackluster. Glad i sold it off on facebook marketplace lmao. Although the gamedac was pretty neat .

It have mobile symbols on dac, so is it output mic and capture sound from mobile ? I want to boost my mic volume i speak at low so i don't wake up my family, on mobile game, i got pc to run that dac, in simple that mobile input does it have trrs mic out
Got the arctis pros + game dac yesterday, they were on a sale for 160$..they are arriving in approx 7 days..good deal if you take into cosideration i dont need wireless since I play at my desk on ps5 + a monitor..i have a pair of wireless jbls for music

@@faraazalarakhia4131 I think you're going to be fine if its only 2m distance from the tv..the wire from the headphone to gamedac is around 1m and the same goes for the wire that goes from the dac to the tv..

I picked this up in box for 60 bucks on fb. Not bad at all. The non wireless is annoying. Sound is 7/10 8/10.

Why is the non wireless annoying? It literally has better sound quality. It should be the other way around but I can see it being annoying if you own a mobile phone that has no headphone jack.
Realistically, these are PC headphones as you really need the console to adjust the sound, etc. They're easily 10/10s if you can balance, equalize, etc sound.
Hello, I like your videos very much. You helped me a lot to buy arctis 5. I just bought arctis pro gamedac now. Does gamedac shut down completely? oled burn scares me, idle time just sets the brightness to 1 anyway, i'm using it at 1. Do you think it is enough to use brightness at 1? Or is unplugging the only way to turn it off?
I’ve used mine for a very long time and that’s not something I would worry about with a gamedac…..a monitor site but not that device

what device do you select on windows speakers gamedac game or headset gamedac chat? if i select speakers gamedac game it makes the sound really tinny and horrible but SS state that this is the correct option. surely not!

Is there an update for this headset's noise cancellation? I'm recording gameplays through my PS5 and my airconditioning sounds are getting picked up by the mic.
If I remember correctly it doesn't have active noise cancellation.....or are u talking about the mic? Because with this style the whole lineup had a very similar mic if not the same

Arctic Pro + Gamedac was great, but look out for the hinge's snapping. They are made out of plastic, and after 1 year of frequent use my right side just snapped. I wish today's market wasn't so cheap with absolutely AMAZING sound quality headphones, that are made with 99% plastic. This will not last if you are not careful.

gameDAC connects to the pc with a usb. you in turn connect the headset to the gameDAC

Honestly up to your preference on spatial audio. It usually doesn't do Hi Res with spatial in my experience, but I don't really enjoy software 7.1 very much.
May be a year late i got it as black friday deal without the game dac and the right side didnt work after talking to support i got a code and i paid 20 dollars for this headset, going from a amazon headset thats taped up to this

I would say if you really care about the sound quality the wired plus gamedac is the best option since it sounds much better then the wireless according to multible reviews same with the actis nova pro the wired one will sound much better then the wireless version theres a pretty big difference but you loose the convenience of wireless.

It’s not that much of a difference tbh, and you can use the wireless wired, but you would need a separate gamedac if you wanted it to be exactly the same.
Arctis Pro + Gamedac or Logitech G733, especially for escape from tarkov. About 10$ difference right now. I don't need wireless connection. What is a better choice in your opinion?

I’m on PS5 and I’ve been using various headsets over the years, but my main go to is the Arctis Pro Wireless.
I’ve also tested the Audeze Penrose and in my opinion whilst yes it’s better at high frequencies, it’s not a day and night difference.
Unless another brand releases a headset with a dedicated desktop amp/dac so the EQ can be adjusted without having to plug it into the PC, I will never change my Arctis Pro Wireless.
It’s not just the dedicated amp/dac that make the headset worth it, but mainly the sound. It’s amazing, directional audio is superb and it gets very loud.
Try the JBL Quantum 800.....Its my favorite for PS5 & PC

I got it for 50 Euros. Yes, F-I-F-T-Y! Coming from a Arctis 7X it is still a big step up. But as you stated in the video the Pro is connected to my PC whereas the 7X is XBOX / living room allrounder.

I wonder if you really tested this headset. the Gamedac has not been functioning properly for the past two year (driver issues). This means that the games and audi almost always go over the Chat channel wich is much lower resolution. This headset is the most piece of junk i have purchased. I like the build quality but if it is not working.... it isnt working.

I'd say these things are 100% PC headphones. They're okay with the PS5 but you really can't make them sound their absolute best unless you know how to work a console. Theyre Audiophiles headphones and...yeah. Youre going to be dissapointed if you dont know how to mix sound with 3rd party stuff.

@@soulja617 also, having used both, and having daily used audiophile options like the Fiio FD5 and Sennheiser HD6XX, these new ones sound better than the previous Gen. I haven’t even heard that be disputed.
@@soulja617 yeah, both are digital audio output options. And from all the conversations I’ve had with other audio enthusiasts, the USB-C option is going to perform nearly identical. The only difference is that the optical can’t get interference, but I have yet to hear interference on my Nova Pro Wireless, and I’ve been using USB since it came out.

I've had these headphones for 2 years and they are FUCKING TANKS. I use them for work, travel etc and they have been through real mistreatment if I'm completely honest and they're still going strong.
It's genuinely rare to see such high quality things made in today's manufacturing environment, even at higher price tags. I genuinely wish I bought another pair because I doubt I'll get ones as good again
