i think what he means about not caring about his clumsiness is that people just want to have something to call him/them out on rather than caring about the real issue. he’s said/done problematic things, owned up to them, apologized and made a conscious effort to educate himself and grow. but to some haters all that doesn’t matter, they just use his past mistakes as an excuse to spread hate.
Comeback trailer always means in bighit language - the intro....it took me 2 comebacks by them to truly engrave it to my mind and remember that I'm basically getting a whole song

If we interpret it that way and link it to the "but Namjoon" line, basically he could mean that those people don't truly care about the right or wrong of his past actions (or his growth since then, for that matter), they simply see him as a convenient scapegoat for different reasons (deflecting attention from their faves when these sort of issues come up today, etc.).

This was a sample from SKOOL LUV AFFAIR intro. I was honestly so shook when I heard the first seconds of this!!! It feels like we're back to 2014 era. RM's flow is beyond amazing! I definitely missed this bangtan style, old hip-hop vibe! Namjoon is a lyrical genius wbk the lyrics and their references are just 😭😭 my respect for RM just exceeded in so many levels.

If you look at the School Love Affair comeback, its a throwback to that. They have gifsets on Tumblr you should check out! They reset the storyline so I think it's throwing back to their roots and where they started. And that could be why they called it organic.
From the sound of this trailer the sound of their new album should be a throwback to their rock and hiphop sound they used to have in 2013-2014 era

I feel like them going for a different genre for a while was a really good thing. The vocalists had more time to shine, and they got to try something new and appeal to another audience. I personally really enjoyed their new music, but I miss their old sound too, so I'm really happy they're bringing it back

NAMJOON!!!! LOL when you pulled out your lighter I thought it was an inhaler at first. I was like "same." I really love your reactions to BTS because it's not just fan hype or focusing on how good they look (nothing wrong with those reactions, they certainly have their place) but I love how you focus on the musicality and the creativity behind it. To me that's more gratifying because it seems more genuine and not just for views. And of course, the boys want to grow as artists so I think if they saw a reaction like this they'd feel really good.
Serendipity, Boy Meets Evil, and this are all such different comeback trailers, but the best ones by far.
Great reaction! You had a lot of good analysis and I love how much you were feeling it. The more I watch this song the better it gets! Namjoon killed it! I have to admit I got a bit emotional when you mentioned that they're going against what's trendy. As a fan since their debut its so nostalgic for me to hear them doing this old style again and I just love the fact they're not afraid to do that instead of going for something more mainstream (even if its not the title track). This is not an experimental album. Their base of music is hip hop with a side electric and rock. This is their roots genre. After the Skool Luv Affair era, they've been exploring new genres and elements in music. So this means they've done exploring, they're coming back to their roots.

As always with BTS music and mv, there's a lot of details to dig into and explain. Aside from the lyrics and the message of the mv, some Armys are theorising that this is still connected to the BU. In Jin's notes where he talked about "going back to the starting point...to find the map of my soul", they think going back to the school trilogy era is in some way connected to it. For the past weeks, bts has been giving clues, performing old songs and even played the skool luv affair intro (used in Persona) at the last Armypedia in Seoul. But no one had a clue that it's coming back as an intro to the new album. I don't dare touch the lyrics and the symbolisms yet. 😂

The video is taking us inside his mind and showing us all the different mask he wears to be RM!
In the video it shows us his mind map (his conscious and unconscious thoughts) on the chalkboard. Then we get all of the different forms of himself, you have the boy in school rapping, the street rapper, the man in front of his business peers but he his suit is oversized so he stands out, you have him in all white looking angelic and pure, his self in a Godly form (the giant RM), and his self as a leader!
Just my thoughts on what i saw!
