Excellent video. I appreciate that you let the boss talk without the interviewer interrupting.

What a great company, really nice of them to invite us all in and show us how they do things, nothing like this from the big boys out there, I was thinking on buying another Santa Cruz but might just get a pivot instead, problem is here in the UK it’s hard to find one to test ride.

Charging money for demos is absolutely ridiculous! For me it means that I simply won’t be buying that brand. You don’t get charged to test drive a 150k car or a 10k motorbike. Why would you pay to test ride a bicycle??????? Greed is really the biggest problem in the bike world at this moment in time. Donating the money isn’t an excuse.

It's far more than a demo - it's more accurately defined by renting it for 4 hours. Also, you get to use the bike in South Mountain Regional Park without supervision (the largest city park in the United States). Lastly, Chris clearly stated they donate the demo fee. It's a great way to borrow a bike, ride it in a fantastic venue, and see what you think.

@@StrengthLabAZ what a pile of nonsensical BS! When you test drive a car you also get to drive it “without supervision”! And whether the money is donated, burned or spent on hats for pets is irrelevant. You are still paying $50 for a fucking test!!!! It’s ridiculous and completely unacceptable. If I want to give to charity then I can do that myself directly. This is a bullshit mentality that will be the end of many brands in years to come. There are not many people out there who can afford to buy 15k bikes so losing them really does matter over the long term. And I am definitely not the only one who is incensed by this money grubbing crap!
