    I'm disappointed they no longer have a presence in Canada. Understandable moving from Toronto to a place where they can bike 365, but still sad they're gone. Still loving my 2012 R5 VWD ❤🇨🇦

    I too own the 2014 R3 and man that’s a super smooth riding bike!!! I love it and rode it on my MS 150 rides for 5 years straight along with other training rides, coffee rides, and other charity rides as well. I’ve got Roval wheels and conti 5000 28 c tires on it and man I can fly on this bike!!!! One speed only and that is fast!!! Great for hill climbs and descents

      @@tacosnachosburritos I ride about 20 to 40 miles on average per session. Sometimes I do longer rides but less frequent. I currently have a Trek Domane that is really comfortable & I’ve upgraded to make it faster. But I’m starting to do more hill climbs & also interested in racing. I feel like using the Soloist as a dedicated race bike will take me to the next level competitively.

      @@tacosnachosburritos The longest I've ridden it is 25 miles and it was very comfortable. Very happy with my purchase, with Shimano Di2 wireless derailleurs, disc brakes, zipp ergo handlebar and Roval Alpinist tubeless wheels. Just moved back to Long Island from Florida where a typical ride was 30+. But the hills here are killer. One reason why I bought this bike, it goes up hills better than my Tarmac! And at the price I paid, definitely worth it. Was not ready to spend $10K+ on a high end race bike!

      @@robertlenahan5375 Thank you for the feedback Robert! My only other hesitation is from some of the comments below. I see people saying the customer service for any problems is non-existant. But perhaps I shouldn't pay attention to that.

      @@tacosnachosburritos I saw those too. I am hoping these were an anomaly or someone was having a bad day.
      I will say that any problems you may have, hopefully your shop will take care of. I actually had to have my seat replaced (didn't care for the seat that came with it) and front derailleur adjusted. The shop I bought it at took care of both, no questions asked. Shout out to Bike Planet in Syosset NY:) Point is, I don't plan on dealing with Cervelo.

    You could have asked why almost no Cervelo bikes are available at the moment. I've been waiting for my P5 for months, my dealer can't tell me when the bike will arrive because Cervelo doesn't know. All other manufacturers up until now have had much better communication than Cervelo towards the customer. We don't know when or what will be available. Ordered in 2022 and still waiting without any information? Good job Cervelo, as a premium brand, we customers expect more..

    I’ve had my Caledonia since the day it was released, and besides color, I wouldn’t change a darn thing about it. Now, I’m selling both my TT bikes and debating between a Cervelo P5 and Trek SC SLR7. The P5 is outdated in the integration department. I hope they fix all this really soon.

    What does the branding on Cervelo bikes mean ? For example on the fork tube, some Cervelo show the iconic “ć” symbol, while others display the word “Cervelo” vertically. I have a R5 with the later brand “Cervelo” imprinted on the fork tube.

    just bought a Soloist in gold dust. now I will be a winner like Jonas Vingegaard....sort of kidding but truly when you analyze the specs and geometry compared to Cannondale S6EVO, Specialized Tarma SL7/8, Giant TCR Adv, and even Van Rysel ECR ect...the Soloist frame is a perfect form. Reach is not too fa, stack is just so low.. The rest of specs better than base level Shimano 105 ( $3500) is a matter of what you can afford, eg carbon wheel rims, electronic group set.

    I think that's a pity that we have no choice other than have bikes with disc brakes and electronic group sets. I've got a 2014 R5 best bike ever , no noises , light and fast not like PJ's 2022 bike in the comment down below. Anyone watching the Giro right now can see that every team is having problems with dropped chain and electronic group sets , it doesn't work well in the rain. Please Cervélo bring it back the R5 rim brake option , please. Thanks !

    I have a 2022 R5 with SRAM Force and while I love the way the bike rides, it is the noisiest bike I've ever owned. Cable rattle, bottom bracket clicking, both shifters vibrate/rattle, the cassette is noisy. You name it, it makes noise... SRAM replaced the left shifter because of the rattle, but the new one has started making noise after a couple of months. A regrettable purchase all things considered.

    Cervelo is the worst with its warranty. I have two Rca. They both have defects. I contact the bike shop where I purchased both bikes for warranty replacement. Cervelo only offered crash replacement even though both bikes has manufacturing defects. I'm so disappointed with the company. I rather stay away from Cervelo products.

    • @neilashton9459

      Not my experience at all and I owned three Cervelo’s. Had a S2 (from Comp. Cyclist incidentally) that was super light and fast that unfortunately didnt like tires over 23mm. Also had a Test Team era R3 that I loved and had some finish delamination around the BB. Cervelo offered a replacement R3 or chance to upgrade to an R5 for a small price (which I did). Great bike but the pressfit BB was always creaking so I traded it (before Hambini and others solved that issue ). Cervelo did right by me though its a shame they dropped the R3. I currently have a 3T Exploro which is a Gerard Vroomen design so still a few degrees of separation from the C. BTW they did an awesome video series during the Test Team days “Beyond the Peloton” that is one of the best inside stories of a great team.

      The warranty comes down to your dealer. If your dealer is crap and your shop won't go to bat for you contact cervelo directly. As a heads up cervelo is the only brand that has a warranty section on their forum for people to complain/post photos of and they do reach out to customers. Don't know of any other brand that does that.

    • @lenf3641
      @lenf3641 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jaspreetsidhu5708 R&A Cycles was the shop I purchased both my Rca and S3. It's one of the most reputable shops in the world. After the shop contacted Cervelo for the warranty, I directly communicated with Cervelo's representative. I tried reasoning with him with no prevail. He only offered crash replacement with R5 for my Rca and I have to give up my Rca to do such a deal, which is totally unfair because the price difference is Rca $10K versus R5 $5K. Cervelo sucks.
