    I have worn Tons of BDUs over the years and wanted something outdoors but not totally tactical or camo. Love this Tru-Spec series and worth the $jingle$.

    I really love these pants. As a former security guard that worked 73.5 hours per week. I was away from home several days out of the week with a back and neck injury. It had the the tactical appearance and functionality I needed as a security guard, and It's flexible enough to do stretches and exercises for my neck and back injury. And these pants are perfect for skateboarding off duty.

    They look comfortable👍 I like the front pockets it would allow me to still wear my tactical bag and use the pocket👍 the metal hook is actually a great idea. Thanks for sharing

      Thanks Yankee! Yeah, they've been out a while but you don't really see any videos on them. I ended up giving them a shot and really liked them so I figured I'd share it with the community for their consideration. :)

    Great job Will. I noticed the pockets on the front of the thigh. My cargo pants have them on the side and they interfere with things you carry on your belt like a knife and such. Not sure I'll pop for that price but I sure would like to give them a try. Thanks for sharing pal.

    Take it from someone who does field work for a living. A good pair of pants is well worth the investment. I've been a big fan of the Duluth Trading co. firehose pants, they are expensive but they hold up remarkably well. These look even better. I may try them out next time I buy some new field pants.

      OutofDoorsTV I am extremely happy with mine so far. They are certainly expensive as far as pants go (but still far from the most expensive), but I expect them to last as long as 4-5 $20 pairs of pants would easily, and to perform better along the way. With certain things it boils down to "either you spend it now, or you spend more later". That's just my humble opinion anyways. Thanks for watching!

      Hey Bobby, glad you enjoyed the video! Yes, for the folks who think these are too expensive I guess they haven't seen the alternatives out there for way more $$$. Thanks for watching!

    Hmm, I've been looking for a new pair of hiking pants, and those may be a good option. I'll have to think about it because I've been needing one that is sort of like that.

    They look like a nice set of pants. See the price jumps around a little but see them in my size in the $70s, that's not bad. Does not look like the knees are reinforced with a heavier material, unless I'm missing it? I do a bit of crawling on my knees I always look for pants that have the extra layer there..

    • @HappilyEverOutdoors
      @HappilyEverOutdoors  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello flashman V, the knees are double-layer of the same material the pants are made out of. The material itself is pretty sturdy though. Hopefully this helps you make a decision. Thanks for watching!

    Im a 38 inch waist, but i see these have a taper look to them which im not into. So im going to get a 40 inch waist. So i see a lot of people ask the fit and the stretch. You can get your normal pants waist size, and it will fit you perfect. But if you get fat, it can stretch 2 inches bigger. So just think of it as it will fit the size u pick plus 2 inches if necessary. So a size 38 inch can fit 38” thru 40”. Im getting 40” just cuz these have a taper fit which 99% of tactical pants dont have. Most tactical pants have no taper and just baggie look. I want baggie look so im getting a 40” . So it will fit 40” thru 42”. So i can get that baggie look that i like. ✌️

      The extra flexibility helps when your kneeling, crouching or in other sometimes awkward positions (in my experience). Thanks for sharing your insights, and for watching 👍

      I wear 38 Waist and 32 inch Inseam @ 5',11"; 205 Lbs. This Tru-Spec series is worth the cost and no regrets.

    great video my good man...just curious.....about how tall are you and what pant length did you get?...i'm 5"11 and the 32 length seems a little short...i've also noticed that the ones i ordered on amazon are different from yours...on mine the bottom of the pant leg is black, and yours is green....which one is the newer version?

    • @HappilyEverOutdoors
      @HappilyEverOutdoors  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Without seeing a picture I’m not sure on the difference you’re describing, but it sounds like maybe there was a design change there. Also, I am 5’6”, and I ordered a 30” leg which seems pretty true to size. Of course everyone is built different.

      I’ve actually worn them a lot since the making of this video. They have held up very well. They do however have some stains, I believe from tree sap. Overall I have been very happy so far. Thanks for watching 👍
