You sure made fast time from entering Nebraska to Walcott. I remember being stuck at that Truckstop in Dec. one year. The fog was so thick you couldn't see the trucks parked ahead or behind you. Standing in the fuel island building you couldn't see the truck in the 3rd lane. A Werner truck pulled in, the whole rig was covered with the frosty fog, the driver was white with fear, I'm sure he was glad to be safe at last. The fog that year even made the National News. Walcott sits in a whole and for 25 miles in any direction was socked in that day. We were finally able to leave around 1 PM. Video was great as are all the rest of yours. Thanks so much for making them. Keep the shiny side up!
Jack. I enjoy watching your video. Makes me want to go back to do OTR. Now I'm doing local run. But have to deal with traffic.everyday take care jack hope you keep posting more video.
Great video Jack and you are so right about the beauty of Utah and a great place for an experienced mountain driver to earn his pay on some of its roads I wouldn't recommend an inexperienced driver tackling the hills without a jake brake take care and be safe.
I wish you would talk about the loads you have I like to know what your haling just to get to know what people are moving around ....but your great from an old truck driver
Wanted to throw my support your way Jack - thanks for keeping it real. I admired your attitude towards the bikers cutting in front of you while you were leaving the truck stop. Most people would have gone on for hours about what idiots they were - You simply comment on them taking chances and move on - sign of a real pro
Automated pancakes, not your typical fare. As good as they are, I do prefer waffles. As in this case where those aren't on the menu, I'll gladly pay you tuesday for some pancakes monday. Only an old dog will recognize that line.
Thanks Jack, always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Excellent video Jack. Maybe we will see each other in a truck stop. Keep on trucking
