@@tonypony86 Hey Anthony, Im sure I replied and now I dont see it. In anycase, none of these were using the hyperlapse feature. It was all normal 25P footage with slow smooth flying. From there the footage was sped up in edit. This gives the impression of a hyperlapse . Im really pleased you find this video trippy :) hat was it that you loved about it the most?
Anthony Lourandos PlayStation my friend. Yes, that’s actually not even a joke. Also make sure you fly in cinematic mode. You can also stabilize in edit when you have sped up your footage. If you in premiere, then just nest the sped up footage and then stabilize that (the sped up footage). Reason why you don’t want to stabilize the normal speed footage is because the movements are too small to correct relative to the sped up version...
Thanks Brian, it's been a while and good to get a message from you. Yeah, those aren't hyperlapses. They were normal video that was time warped. Essentially its kind of the same thing though. Glad you like the film...

Looks like masks were used. It isn't perspective because two layers are going on way and the center is going a different way. Perspective would just be different speeds.
Sweeeeeeet! Do you by chance recommend any good LUTS for editing in post production? I just got the DJI Mavic Pro 2 and I'm excited to see how the footage looks! I'm trying to find some great LUTS for the drone footage. 😀
Mile High Marketing Guy Thanks for the feedback :) Yes absolutely use the SpectrumGrades packs. There is a specific Mavic 2 Pro set that work beautifully. I would suggest the Cine Collection M2 if you want to maximize your Mavics footage. Let me know that you have them 😎👍
Hmmm that a few months of random filming. Hard to give an exact timeframe. Either way a film can be created in a very short period depending on your subject matter. So for natural cloud behavior one can’t dictate when to film, so those opportunities will only happen when they happen. As for more controlled conditions, then that can be a few days. For editing it’s also dependent on the amount of footage one has as well as on how deep one wants to go into editing. For the most part a film to edit should take from a few hours to maybe up to 4/5 days. Also to add to this. One can make a film just from 1 or 2 flights and put something really nice together in a few hours. I like your video game analogy :) xbox I see?

My guess is junger means the out of focus thing going on. And then the focus shifting from fore- to background. I think he masked it and digitally applied "out of focus" to the mask and then gradually shifted the focus to the foreground frame by frame over time to the second half of the frame.. which would work because there's a harsh line created by the overlaying rocks. Am I right or what? :D
