Was waiting for your review on this one, but went ahead and bought one anyway! I have had one of these for about a month - its a bit better than my Alldocube iPlay 40H and I'm using it more and more over the iPlay. Mine turned up in a damaged package and the thing was bent by about 5 or so degrees out of the box. Turned it on after taking photos of the damage and it all worked. Bent it back into shape (mostly - still slightly bent) still worked so decided to keep it. Still going and its obviously passed a stress test. Don't play games but run a lot of apps at once - Great 11" tablet - when one comes out with 5G, I'll definitely upgrade. As usual, great review and spot on with my usage experience.

Big fan of the $100-$200 tablet market. I've owned an alldocube iplay and an older teclast. Solid budget tablets for light browsing and media consumption. The base model Amazon fire HD 10 is alright too if you're really on a budget. I use the Fire HD 10 for watching youtube while on the Treadmill/Indoor Cycle at my local gym, if it gets stolen or damaged, it's cheap enough to buy another lol

I just bought this tablet. It came with android 13.... I don't use netfix so I don't know if netflix play in HD. I watch a lot of stuff on youtube, they play in 1080p when it's available. And I tried high quality game like the walking dead season one and Asphalt 8 and they play so smooth. The screen is beautiful, very sharp. I got the 16gb ram and 256gb storage version. The best feature of this tablet is the battery saving mode and you can schedule the tablet to turn on and off automatically. That's amazing!!!!! I set mine to turn on at 9:00 am and off at 1:25pm monday to friday when I will use it. It's an amazing tablet for price. I was going to get a samsung tablet. But I am very happy with this tablet. It's very smooth!!!!
Steering clear after I bought a Teclast T30 based on your review. It's unusable due to a firmware bug where the touch response is 53hz so everything is jerky and useless (eg when scrolling).They never fixed this in firmware. Should have been picked up in the review!
Odd but I didn't have issues with my unit with touch. Sorry about that. And this unit has a 120hz touch sampling rate. But sure for the price point you have other options like the Lenovos and Redmi pad etc.
@@Techtablets Yeah I looked today someone did a custom firmware combining the Chinese rom (where they fixed this issue by setting the touch response to 59.97 or whatever) with English. I'll try this later it may make it usable!
Just remembered that I have a T30 lying around somewhere...Never used it much. Poor performance and long startup time means that the phone is so much more accessible. Maybe if they had put a decent chip into this one it would have been ok .
I own the T10 and T30 and wouldn't buy Teclast again. Once you factor in import tax it's not worth it compared to competitors. The ROMs are often buggy, never receives an update, build quality is okay at best. Probably better from Lenovo.
At least I've seen a but fix update already with this tablet. But those ones don't have 4G depends on people's needs. But yes the Lenovo tablets are good.
My t30 is still working fine. Been using it everyday for the past 3 mostly now for media consumption. On teclast website you can update the rom manually and you can install customs too. I did install one from XDA and improved the touch response a little. For 200€ or less I think it's quite reasonable

Still a good tablet for the budget. But honestly it's a tad large. I always thought 10 inches are good sized but 9 inch is a strange sweet spot but no company wants that except Lenovo recently. Still nothing wrong with this. It's actually a good media tablet for the price.
11" isn't too bad, so many were 10.6" and the difference isn't really noticeable. Yes good for basic use and media etc. Glad they finally got the DRM widevine L1 cert sorted out!
This is in my opinion outdated already from start. There will be no updates to newer Android so soon your new apps won't be supported any more. The chip was launched as a budget chip in 2019 and it won't improve over time....

well... the budget tablet market is very boring nowadays. You can buy a Lenovo Tab P11 with 2 OS updates + 3 years of security for around 260euros. It has 2K screen and Dolby speakers, performance is the same as Teclast. For 330euros you can get an iPad gen 9 which outperforms everything in this price range so....
No LTE though right? I'd love to see someone release something like that with 4G LTE. Wouldn't even expect 5G. I've been generally disappointed with what gets released in tablets. They're either super expensive like Samsung or Apple, or more on the low budget side like these. Not saying there is anything wrong with that, but the sweet spot for me would be something more in the midrange spot. I'm hoping Oneplus can make a difference in this segment.
@@Techtablets Took a while to find some information that wasn't just stock, but it appears to use bands 2, 5, and 41 in the US. I was hoping for at least band 4, which is pretty strong and prevalent through the US. I'm liking that it at least got some updates. Don't think my Umidigi tablet has gotten any updates since I've had over a year now.

With update policy still being abysmal with the lower-tier Chinese brands, there is not much point in buying these products. In November you will find Amazon Fire tablets for around 90 bucks or cheaper again. With the usual, ahem, workarounds, you can make them usable for usual tasks. At around 200 bucks (at least here in Germany) there is even a lesser point in buying tablets from Teclast, Chuwi and the like.
You need to stop saying a device is playable for genshin impact when you just test at the starting map. On the later region with more enemies character, 100% sure it won't be playable anymore. I think it will crash instead..

Good to see they have improved the speakers, micro SD, got widevine L1 certs and still offer 4G with GPS

They took a step back with the cpu since the t40 was a t618, but shouldn't be much different for day to day tho
It's not rally, still fine for light tablet needs. Not so much for gaming.

I use the Teclast T40 Pro, Very similar to this. Well, is good for call of Duty. I get High Frame rate and Medium graphics, I'm looking to upgrade.

@@Techtablets yes. The L1 certification was the biggest deal breaker on past tablets. Finally a very affordable tablet for Netflix has been released.
They only thing is now it's up to Netflix to up support as all I can get is SD, but Amazon Prime videos is in HD/FHD.

As a teclast user I wouldn't recommend it. Id suggest checking out the Lenovo xiaoxin tab (p11). Similar price but a much better option.

Well this has T50 model LTE band 20 working for me. But no 5G affordable tablets yet.
